I ended up getting take out from here the other day and this place was a decent find! + Vegetarian friendly + Interesting flavor combos + Can find on Uber eats, but they have better prices and deals when you go into the store. + Friendly staff + Generous portions IG: QueenOfAdventureNYC

Delicious, loved it, taste was good, delivery was quick and on time, delivery came in just 30 mins which was amazing

Forest Hills location for the Singa's pizza chain found all over Queens. This location is slightly bigger than some of the others with a good corner location and a few tables and chairs inside. As always, their specialty is the 10 inch personal pie, which comes with any kind of topping imaginable. It is enough to fill up one person who is very hungry or can be divided into two meals if you are not too hungry. The pizza is not for everyone. It has a nice crispy crust, but can be slightly dry and could definitely use more sauce. I still like them though.

This chain is more famous for its 10" personal size pizzas, which looked and smelled great coming out of the oven. I opted for a cheeseburger with fries. The burger was extra juicy and wet the bun. The fries were tiny string cut fries. The service was friendly and efficient and the prices were reasonable in our inflation era. I wouldn't come back for a burger and fries, but I'd try again when I was in the mood for pizza.

A great place to watch a game! Food, beer, wine & dessert! Street meter parking Monday to Saturday until 7pm. Theirs also free parking down 63 Drive in front of the residential houses

My first time eating at this chain restaurant. I'm biased in a sense that being from NYC, I tend to stay away from the chain places as there are plenty of local places that are great. That being said, it was late and these days there's not as much open later so this place was it. I was hopefully to be a little pleasantly surprised but not so much. The pizzas were decent sized and there was plenty to pick from as far as pre set toppings or choose your own. The best part about the order was the salad though. I would give that 5 stars. I didn't go into the store so not sure of the set up but they are on 108th Street so parking can be limited. The delivery was fast through and the food was still hot.

Plain pizza and garlic bread sticks delivered

Used to love this place growing up... Food: the quality in food prep has decreased. I also want to add that judging on fresh food versus delivery makes a difference. Everytime I've ordered for delivery I've like the pizza and esp the bread sticks less. This time my pizza was just okay I ordered a plain and garlic bread sticks came burnt. I could not eat it and threw most of them out. Price: I feel it's a bit expensive for the quiity and quantity you get. Not up to par with their old quality. Ambiance: I haven't dined in for quite some time now so can not speak to the style size or feel of the place. Staff: i have not dined in and can not speak to the quality friendliness or competence of the staff Overall it a good meal when in a bind and a diff flavor of pizza if you're tired of the same italian pizza. But i won't go out of my way to order from here again.

This spot can be a hit or miss. This used to be my fave pizza place and still is when they are not overwhelmingly busy and they cook it through. They used to use a better ingredients, but the quality has cheapened overall (especially noticeable with the cheese which taste rubbery after a few slices) so its not AS good as it used to be, but still gets the job done. The mozzarella sticks are a bit of a rip off, 5 sticks for $7.50, which we totally missed the quantity listed on the menu. Next time, we will skip out on ordering that. See the pics below. All in all, don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.

    Perfect kids pizza.

If you are looking for good old fashion NY pizza this is not the place to order from. These are large personal pan pizzas that kids seems to love. Think of a much better version of papa johns or dominos using better ingredients. The actual food is closer to a 2.5 or a 3 star place. I went with 4 stars because overall the food is always fresh, the delivery or pickup is on point and the price/deals are fair. If you download and order through their app 3 pizzas with toppings is around $20.00 The pizzas don't come in a box. They use a heavy duty plate on top and bottom and put it in a bag. It's a nice touch because it creates less waste and easy clean up. I recommend these pizzas if you are having a small kids party or have a family that wants all different toppings.

10" pies: mushrooms & green peppers pizza, buffalo wings, eggplant pizza and special pizza

After 4 weeks of isolation and cooking at home the family wanted pizza. Love the 10" personal size pizza (cute small slices) - everyone can choose their own toppings and you can trade slices too with each other. The toppings are fresh and loaded with lots of gooey cheese. Everyone loved their selection. Support your local business. I used to come here - now this is my husbands go to for pizza. Thank you!

When we arrived, they said they hadn't received the order, citing an issue with their system. They told us it would take about 15 minutes. Unfortunately it really took about 35 minutes for the food to be ready. The wait time was definitely underwhelming. However they made up for it by giving us a free slice of tiramisu cake. When we got home, we were both surprised by just how much gnocchi they give. We both ordered the Senza Vodka. Other than the red pepper flakes on top, the sauce was really flavorless. I did like the gnocchi itself. The side Caesar salad was also very bland. My wife really enjoyed the food, so they made it worth it. But I tnink she'll have to order from here on her own moving forward, .

Cacio e pepe with meatballs- rich, creamy, not salty as I feared based on some other reviews. Decent depth of flavor, ricotta was cool as the other elements were warm to hot, providing some temperature play. Meatballs were flavorful, but one of them seemed a bit overdone/dry. Senzu vodka with shrimp - spicy, salty, still creamy, obviously. Shrimp was a bit on the saltier side. A more straightforward flavor, I guess? Gnocchi itself - fell apart in the mouth, not very chewy like the mass-produced stuff. Haven't had much of it, but the last gnocchi I had was from Crown Shy so it feels pretty unfair to compare. I wasn't totally wowed by the texture. I'm not entirely sure what Gnocchi is supposed to taste like. Overall, it was decent. I'm not chomping at the bit to go back, but I'm not against it. It's just that in a crowded street of heavy-hitting spots to eat, I'm not sure how well this competes with them. I feel a little guilty giving this a 3. There's quite a bit to like. For one, despite looking small, the gnocchi is rich and heavy and I actually didn't feel the urge to finish all of it because of how sated I was. If you want to fill yourself on some gnocchi (you don't even need the protein, honestly) this is a great place to do so. The presentation is as good as it could be given its limitations of being in a plastic bowl. That said, my mom and brother really loved this, so we'll be heading back again.

This was one of the best new pizzerias in NYC, opening to great accolades from various publications. Being a poor kid in Junior High School working for a mere $3.75/hr across the street at the corner Baskin Robins (RIP) did not give me the opportunity for quite some time. Anyway, fast forward 5 years and I finally had the chance with a few friends to experience what many called the best pizza in Queens, and I was very impressed. This became my regular "fancy" pizza shop of choice. What I loved most about it was the crispy and charred thin crust. It adds so much to the overall taste and enjoyment. The sauce was deliciously tangy and the fresh mozzarella made it a level above everything else in the neighborhood. One word of warning, the pizza could get a little soggy in the center if too many toppings are ordered. I usually choose none or no more than two. Also noteworthy is their yummy calzones. My personal favorite combination is sausage and spinach. Mixed with all that oozing ricotta and dipped in some tomato sauce, that is one great bite. Lastly, I like most of their salads too. Their food has been a staple in my diet for most of my adult life. Decades go by, and out of nowhere, I hear the news that Nick's had burned down. What a loss for our community! What a loss personally! Thankfully, they are back and feeling every bit like the original. Food is as good as before, while the decor and service has always been on point. Being close to our home…read moreand having heard lots of praise (from my mom) for it, we decided to go there on a Friday night. It wasn't overly packed, there were a few empty tables. We got seated at a table by the door window, which is always nice. The restaurant is 100% in need of an upgrade--looked dated and a bit tired, and the bathroom had no hand-soap (!) I loved the piano player, she was very lovely. I love when people take their craft seriously. The service too was really great - the waiter was polite and friendly, went through the specials, put up with my jokes about us just ordering pizza from (next door? I don't think it's next door--but there was a pizza place right upon walking in, on the right, under the same roof). We ordered the fried calamari and the bruschetta. The calamari was good, but I wished it were a bit more well done. The bruschetta came on toasted bread, so it was hot, which was odd to me. Is that a thing? I've only had the bruschetta cold. Wish they also had slightly better bread overall. The bread for the table that the brought out in the beginning was just kind of a regular blah baguette, toasted with garlic butter. I'm a fan of the fresh bread, but plain with just garlic or oil on the side. Much better option overall. We ordered 2 dishes of the Fish (Sole) and I had the Salmon. While the salmon was a nice piece, the mustard sauce kinda didn't hit the spot. The veggies were just okay (they come on the side), but the eggplant that comes with the dish wasn't too great either. Deserts were just okay, they didn't taste very fresh, unfortunately. My tiramisu was as soggy as it could get, which made me think it definitely wasn't made fresh / too recently. With 2 glasses of wine and a virgin drink + a 20% tip, the $88 per person price tag just couldn't be justified by the quality of the food, unfortunately. In any case, my mom still raved about this experience, was just happy to share the memory of the night with us and I kept answering her and nodding, just to make sure that I was as happy as she was with the food. Probably won't be returning any time soon.

I was exuberant for the occasion of goodness to patronize, at long last. What gives you hope. There is an outdoor seating patio that occupies the entire sidewalk and half the street. The weather was gloomy cloudy, but not raining which enable my party of two to dine outdoors. Our table was uneven wobbling and shaking minimal the entire meal which reminisce "Lisa from Temecula" sketch from "Saturday Night Live," but not as violently aggressive shaking. Customer service is average attentive. Oddly, our appetizers arrived first and my wine did not. We had to request my wine which should be distributed first without request or reminder, thus the four stars. This restaurant was not entirely busy nor crowded for a Friday early afternoon. Nick's Bistro is a small cafe with a modern aesthetic appeal. I enjoy and prefer to be well-cultured expose to all international cuisines without judgment and an open mind for appreciation and global awareness. I am not knowledgeable with Greek cuisine, but I do know that Astoria is the locale for the go-to restaurants. I enter with a empty stomach. I exited fulfilled. Business cards and candy were available for grabs. Nick's Bistro is easily accessible via MTA NYC Transit buses Q53 SBS/ Q52 SBS and then Q54. Dramatic irony: this business name is also the name of my former love - not the same Nick, certainly not the same man. My foodie synopsis: Lamb gyro sandwich, $12.00 The meat was soft, but fresh and Tzatziki sauce was heavy. I do not consume lamb often, but once in a blue moon I would not exclude lamb to consume. The pita bread was the highlight which was fresh, soft and cooked with a good consistency without burning or harden. The gyro contain very pauacity minimal vegetables of lettuce, half cherry tomato and red onion. I always prefer red onion. I prefer regular tomato. This sandwich ate my fill to sustain hunger pangs the entire afternoon. Gyro sandwich is always my default Greek entrée of choice. Oddly, this entrée is price higher than listed on their website for $9.00. I do not believe their website is updated for price. Caesar salad, small $11.25 It was fresh and delightful filled with Parmesan shaved cheese. This portion is actually medium size. The croutons are thankfully not hard, but I never like croutons at all. I am always enamored with the lettuce. Ruffino, Chianti, 2019 red wine $12.00 This wine is one of my favorite reds, but it is difficult to find at most restaurants or cafés not widely offer. It was a joyous delight. It is exactly as is dry, very medium-bodied smooth finish Italian red wine from Tuscany, Italy, crafted from indigenous Sangiovese grape. It highlight bright cherry flavors and surely tasted. I was floating in very high spirits. Chicken rice soup, pint $6.95 Served luke warm but not piping hot with steam visibly emitted. It was also served with Oyster crackers. It was enjoyable and warm the heart. Greek Omelet, over easy egg whites $16.50 It was served with Greek feta cheese with vegetables yellow zucchini and pita chips. I highly despise Greek feta cheese and the same for Greek yogurt because both are extremely heavy, thick and too rich. I do not see any tomatoes. This entrée did appeared well prepared and well cooked but no runny yoke. My neighbor thoroughly enjoyed this entrée. Every time I think of omelet it bring flashbacks from past long-haul international flights major airlines of standard airplane food popularity for in-flight breakfast, often served with potatoes, sausage, or roasted vegetables. Nostalgia brew. Omelet? Flight attendant, I'll take the Continental with pastries, toast and fresh fruit please. Then followed by Bedtime Care Bear make me fall asleep again.
