If youre looking for a spot in yorkville to drink, eat, and socialize with an esteemed clientele than D bar is where you need to be! The service is top notch. The manager John and some notable bartenders make this place a very welcomong environment. I wish i could shout out all the staff by name but then we would be reading this review for a looong time. I reccommend coming on a friday or saturday night to enjoy the dance floor after 9:30 pm or a weeknight lunch to get some work done. Food wise, their salami and cheese options are great for us ladies, and men, who prefer to graze. If youre looking for a filling and luxurious entree then I reccomend the seared scallops. Absolutely divine! Visit D bar, i know you wont be dissapointed!

I ordered the burrata and smoothie. The food was great, and so was the service. The atmosphere of this place is great for a client meal or a drink. Although my experience was good, I do think it's very expensive, but it was a given since its inside the Four Seasons. My bill consisting of the burrata, smoothie and sparkling water came to around $60.

Came on a Boxing day so somewhat atypical vibe probably. Some interesting and creative cocktails on offer. For the festive season they had a Naughty or Nice cocktail choice. Went the Naughty, a gin based citrusy drink which was decent. I'd go back on a weekend when they have a DJ.

I never thought I would say that $23 cocktails are worth it. However, at D|Bar, I would happily spend $60 on three cocktails for how delicious they taste. However, the food is definitely a bit lacklustre for its price range. We ordered the Hamachi sashimi ($28), petite frites ($12) and Dulce de leche cake ($12). For the Hamachi, it was small portioned but beautifully seasoned and garnished. What made it feel awkward about the experience was that we were expected to eat it with a fork and knife. My friend and I bring Asians, we felt a bit disrespected being asked to cut it with a knife. They had no chopsticks and was discouraged using hands. Definitely not worth the $28. The Petite Frites were dry and I felt a bit unseasoned. My friend agreed and thought Burger King fries were more refined that this. Definitely overpriced for $12. The Dulce de Leche cake was the saving grace of the food. The sweet, crunchy texture of the Salted Caramel Pearls made us fall in love with it. If we were to come back, it would definitely be for the cake. Definitely would be coming back for the cocktails and cake but for the actual food, perhaps not so much for the price point and taste.

The dbar is at the ground floor of the Four Seasons hotel, and as expected it is a beautiful space. The seats and sofas are lush and stylish. The decor is in lovely hues of pinks, creams and marble. Service is nice but with the coolness expected of fancy establishments. We came for drinks on a Friday night, and the bar area was busy but not crowded. We were able to get seats in a relatively quiet corner and enjoy our drinks away from the crowd. The cocktails are interesting, and seemingly inspired by the recent TIFF season. I had the "Sky is Pink" while by parter had the "Ford VS Ferrari". Both drinks were okay, but I didn't particularly like either of them. They were both on the fruity side while I prefer more spirit forward drinks. The drink presentation was very nice though. Mine had an interesting large square ice cube, while my partner's came with dry ice. There was a small dish of popcorn and nut mix that was complimentary with the drinks. The popcorn was tossed in some spice mix that was very strange and strongly savory. We didn't even finish it because neither of us liked the spices. I much rather have had plain popcorn. The nut mix was a little better. In total, great place to hang out and chat but expect it to be more style than substance.

Hmmm... it's Four Seasons, so I have kind of expectation. We ordered afternoon tea sets. Presentation is so so. Scones are dry and hard. It's not the scones you expected. The sandwich bread is dry too, looks like they made it in advance and do not store it properly. So the bread is dry when you touch it. Other savoury is not special. Will not come back again.

What a lovely restaurant, look at the place setting they gave us -enough room for six people and we're just two people having a corner lunch with lots of privacy and great views and most importantly delicious food. I don't know if you can tell from this photo of my pasta it's Orichette and honestly I think there's more seafood and shrimp on my plate than there is pasta. Absolutely delicious. And look at the beautiful flowers here. Thank you Four Seasons for continued fabulous service......... though I am still curious why such an unattractive red fountain at the front door with no water in it? What's the point in a fountain without water? I've stayed at over 50 Four Seasons around the world, and my experience with their interior decorating is always either stunning or horrendous... That's why we're here instead of the restaurant upstairs where I find all the artwork by Mr. Brainwash visually offensive and it hurts my eyeballs. It actually affects my pleasure of the meal. So that's why we're here instead.......... They also gave us a lovely, unexpected fruit dessert, so thank you! Your service is always outstanding.

I really enjoy what D Bar offers. A sophisticated but laid back atmosphere if you want to meet up with friends for a drink or a little snack. Spacious and have seating option for single, small groups or even some sectional sofas that can comfortably seat a group of 8-10 people. On a weekday night, D Bar was not overcrowded but I can imagine how busy it can be on a weekend. The lighting is cozy, the background music is light and the service is attentive. The drinks are reasonable priced when one remembers this is inside Four Seasons Hotel, with cocktails starting from $13 and beers at $8.50. The Mojoito I have was quite decent, sweetened with lavender syrup and nicely presented. Dessert though a little disappointing. The Hazelnut Gateau ($9) and Warm Madeleines ($9) are both good but not memorable. I will be back to D Bar for a drink or 2 if I am in the area, can't wait for the outdoor patio to open when it is warm out!

It has been warmer in Toronto and last Saturday, I decided to walk around Yorkville for a bit, It was around 5pm and my family and I walked into dbar with no reservation. We were seated immediately. For those people who like super high high end places, this would be one of those. It is a very upscale lounge, cool seating and I personally loved the vibe. The server brought us our drinks in less than 5 minutes and our apps came about 10 minutes after that (service is on point). We ordered the Fried Artichokes, Caesar Salad & Mini Lobster Rolls. I wasn't a fan of the Artichokes but that's because I generally don't like them! My parents enjoyed them. The Caesar salad could have used a lot more dressing, it was pretty plain. The lobster rolls were pretty good, soft buns, tasty sauce, & the lobster wasn't chewy! Our mains came out 20 minutes later. DAMN, what a spread! Both my sisters ordered the Steak Frites; wasn't the best steak I've had but it was delicious! My mom ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich which was pretty good but again not the best Fried Chicken sandwich. My dad and I ordered the burgers; my burger was topped with slow roasted pulled pork. I really enjoyed it, the quality of the meat was great and the fries were extra crispy. Oh, how could I forget dessert - The Profiteroles were really good, served with Vanilla Ice Cream, Chocolate Sauce and Roasted Pecans. I would come back, it's a nice lounge and the food is all great. Keep Eating, Angela

Yeah it's a bit expensive but yo, you leave feeling like a million bucks. They treat you so well (not in a contrived way) and the food is so delicious. They have a very refined menu that they've mastered and hits the spot every time. Note: this isn't the place to necessarily have a giant dinner, it's a chill vibe with smaller plates. Great for reconnecting, actually hearing yourself speak in a resto and relaxing with a few real wunz. Also, they have the BEST creme brûlée in Toronto. Don't @ me. Just stop. These are facts. Bye.

    Pink perk. Nothing special, $20.

Went here for drinks before heading to cafe Boulud for dinner. When we arrived we wanted to sit outside, but they didn't have space so they said they'd let us know. We had a nice table in the lounge, and they immediately brought us free olives, popcorn and nuts. I was with a group of 50+ aged women, and I noticed that when they asked "too many" questions, our server was quite rude, which I didn't like. They came to get us a bit later to say there was space on the patio, at the exact same time as our server was taking our snack orders. This was super annoying because the girl who came to get us for the patio and our server did not coordinate or communicate, so instead of stopping him from continuing to get our order, she just rushed half of us to stand up while the other half were still engaged with him in the order. It was all fragmented and really amateur. Once outside, our new server repeated back the order that had been taken inside. We never got new waters and our server never asked us for second drink orders once we had finished our first round. We waited and waited for food to come and finally after an hour we cancelled - we had ordered a CHARCUTERIE plate which is just cheese and meat on a plate and should NOT take an hour. He said, "are you sure it's almost ready?" Which is not the right answer. The space is nice but man the service was aggravating af.

The service was great, but the food was only okay. I didn't plan on coming here for lunch but I didn't realize the place I was hoping to get a table at was closed for a private function. They seated me right away, and both the host and waitress were friendly and attentive. The decor is sophisticated and it has an upscale vibe. The rillon on a bun was good, but the pork belly was somehow a bit dried out, and the mustard was overpowering. The Thai sausage entrée was very small, and the fried rice was a bit dry. I was just so hungry at that point that I ate everything anyway. Perhaps this place is better left as a drinking spot. Heed the reviews for the nighttime experiences here though.

Forreal though, the run Soho House had can only be rivaled by 2011-2015 Whole Foods. You really had to be there... but like any other prime, Father Time always catches up. I was set to do a full rise and fall piece on the Soho House right here on Yelp but in my research, I stumbled upon an article by Lydia Moynihan in the NY Post and she nailed it. I really didn't have much to add so go over and read that if you have a sec. Shoutout to Lydia. Instead, I'll just recap our experience here like any other boring Yelp Review. We came to this Toronto location before the Taylor Swift concert, and I was pleasantly surprised. It felt like prime Soho House. A beautiful, discrete brick building with an old school interior. Whoever designed this one needs a raise. I'm so tired of the cookie cutter half-assed modern architecture. The ones in LA and NY now feel like it is just a bunch of dorks trying to be seen by God knows who. There is no soul in those locations. We grabbed a drink in the lobby and went upstairs for our 5pm dinner. I domed a couple of negronis and we split a margherita pizza and a bottle of pinot noir before our mains arrived. I got the rigatoni, per the waitresses recommendation because she had a thick Italian accent. Big truss. She wasn't lying either, that rigatoni went crazy. I took like 30 pictures before a staff member came over and said no pictures, as I didn't know that was still a rule here... please don't beat me up. We closed dinner with a couple espresso martinis before setting off on foot to go see Big Tay put on a show. She really did her thing. Thank you Soho House Toronto, for giving me a taste of what the Soho House used to be in the states. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

The place SEEMED quiet but shortly thereafter the place got JAMMED! Initially it was slow service but it picked up shortly. We had several different servers so no single server is tagged here. The next was the Crab Dip ($20.75), it was hot but not overly tasty. 3rd was the Hot Chicken Bites with pickles ($16.00). They were ok but not hot in temp enough.
