I had also tried various recommended skincare from Sephora and other beauty influencers on Instagram, but none of them seemed to work. Before this, it hadn't even crossed my mind to see an aesthetician for my acne. Karen was my aesthetician, and she performed a manual acne extraction + other hydrating treatments afterwards. I'm not going to sugar coat it, the extraction HURTS! But it's only in the moment of the extraction, it doesn't keep hurting afterwards. Karen was as gentle as she could be, but also meticulous. I felt as if she was digging into every one of my pores (in a good way)! After years of struggling with acne, I decided to bite the bullet and just trust the process with Karen. Instead of other facial places, I don't have to pick and decide for myself which treatment I want -- Karen takes in the current state of my face with every visit and suggests the treatment that she thinks is the best. It took a little while to fully see the results, but it was so worth it! After a few months, I already started see a reduction in my normal acne. In around year or two, I not only barely had any acne, my skin was so much healthier, and I swear my pores seemed to have shrunk!
