Sunita is a gem and I am glad I found her. Ever since I moved to Bay Area, I struggled to find a good place for threading eye brows. All the places I visited before did not do a good job and I always felt frustrated. But thanks to Yelp, I found Skin Adore. I was quite hopeful after reading all the reviews and photos. I booked my appointment for a Saturday morning. And on reaching there, Sunita welcomed me warmly. One thing that really strikes you about Sunita is her very friendly nature and attitude. She took me inside her small yet comfortable studio and spent few minutes talking to me about my expectations which I really appreciate. This was never the experience with other estheticians. She also did a outline with a brow pencil and when I was satisfied with the shape, she started working her magic. It was painless and quick. I was out in less than 10 minutes (7 to be precise) but feeling way more satisfied and happy about my brows. I have decided not to go anywhere else from just my very first experience!! The price is very reasonable considering Sunita's quality of work (around $18 for eye brows and upper lips) I will definitely be coming to Sunita until Sunita decides to stop threading! (Oh the horror!) SKin Adore is by appointment only. She does get booked well in advance. She is pretty good in responding to my calls/texts. P.S. I was really worried about my eyebrows becoz they went wrong few months ago by someone else and after that no one was able to fix them. This is how my 5 star experience went down: Arrived 2 minutes late (my fault) since my stupid navigation took me the long way. Sunita was still able to see me within my allocated time, thanks Sunita! Had a 1-2 minute consultation on the expectation of what I want my brows to look like and where I want to go with them...recommendations were then provided. Sunita then performed her magic and in less then 15 minutes my brows were close to perfection, in my eyes! The shape was exactly what I wanted and she kept my ends long since my goal to grow them out. Awesome job! Sunita is very sweet and personable. Omg! Okay, if you are following my reviews, this is the second one of my adventure today. I've always had bad luck with eyebrows. They have been butchered and abused so I vowed to never get them done again. Until today. I booked marked this awesome place and took the plunge. It's small but it's perfect. I forget the lady who did my eyebrows and I love her. She's a beautiful person that knows her stuff. I walk in ( it's best to make an appointment) she took me in the back and just knew what the heck she was doing! I told her what I wanted and she game me the story of my eyebrows and educated me on what works best for me. She also gave me some great tips. Then she outlined what she was going to do and she went to work! It was painless, quick and perfect! I've never had eyebrows this perfect before. I love it and will be back! Sunita is such a sweetheart!!! I adore her!!! I usually go to Threads in Dublin, but I think I've found my new threading place just 5 minutes away. I am so happy! Sure, this place charges quite a bit more than Threads and no, I didn't get the mini massage in the end with the Aveeno skin calming cream (thus minus the two stars), but Sunita did just as good a job as they do at Threads AND she did it in half the time. After reading such amazing reviews on Yelp i scheduled an appointment with Sunita today.Her studio is small and cozy.I arrived on time and she welcomed me to her studio with a beautiful smile and supernice attitude .She is such a sweet person ... god!!!! i mean people should learn from her to actually do business. Let me tell you she gave me amazing eyebrows when i left the parlor. I have not had such detailed eyebrows done ever. She is quick and gives some quick tips to reduce the pain too. Also her hands are so delicate that you cant feel it while she is doing your eyebrows.The price is quite reasonable for the results she gives. Since I have been going to Skin Adore for the past two years, I figure I'd update my review and give Sunita 5 stars! I have been going to Sunita for the past couple years and she has been consistent with my eyebrows, which is the reason why I wanted to share this information with my fellow yelpers. Since Sunita has many clients, I still remind her that I want thick eyebrows. I always say, "the thicker, the better." Haha. She never fails at keeping my eyebrows just the way I like them... "thick." Tips to keep in mind: In order to make an appointment, you still have to call Skin Adore, leave a message, and wait for a call back. Sunita really does a great job accomodating your available times, but keep in mind, she works by herself. So I suggest having a little patience while waiting for her call. Upon arriving to your appointment, the door will always be locked. Unless there is a client waiting that can open the door for you, you have to wait until Sunita opens the door. There is still usually about a 5-10 minute wait for your appointment... I promise you the wait will be worth it ;-) read more

For eyebrow threading: I have been going to Sunita for almost 3 years now and I have never regretted coming to any appointment because she always does amazing work! There has never been a time she's made my brows too thin or uneven - she always threads them perfectly and evenly. If she would skip a spot, it will be for a good reason and she will let you know that reason. Sunita is very kind and sweet. She's also a very busy person! But that is because she's amazing at what she does. Sunita broke it down step by step with my eyebrows. She first asked me what kind of brows I would like and what I didn't like. Then she proceeded and drew in my brows with a pencil to show me what she was going to take off and what parts I shouldn't tweeze. A little pricer for eyebrows ($16 without the tip) but I don't mind paying extra if I get someone who listens to what I say and gives you advices on growing out your brows. Sunita is one skilled eyebrow lady! I haven't had my eyebrows done in a few years after some bad experiences with other salons where I was really unhappy about the shape they did. Enter me cleaning up my own eyebrows periodically and just dealing with them being passable. I stumbled on Skin Adore while browsing yelp and after seeing all the photos of beautiful eyebrows, decided to try once more at getting my eyebrows done. Sunita was amazing. I had never had my eyebrows threaded before so she showed me how threading works. Then she asked what kind of shape I was aiming for, and drew lines with pencil to show where I should try to grow them and where she will remove the hair. I loved this because it showed me the shape she was imagining for them to end up and it was exactly the shape I would like them to be. The threading was fast and only minorly painful. No pain, no gain! It cost $13, I honestly think this is a steal as I have paid $30+ to have them waxed before and walked out hating the shape. My eyebrows already look so much better and I am excited for them to grow more and continue to have them shaped by Sunita! read more

First and foremost, this is my very first review... EVER! And I signed up for yelp today just to write a review on my experience at Skin Adore. By far, this is the BEST EYEBROW SHAPING I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! I started plucking my eyebrows since the 7th grade and back then I must have done a horrid job because my brows never grew back to its full natural state. I know it will never grow back ever again, but at least I wanted my eyebrows to look somewhat symmetrical. I went to numerous salons around the bay area and had them waxed to even them out but the outcome was never satisfying. Then one of my friends referred me to Sunita... and OMG, I will never let anyone touch my eyebrows except for Sunita ever again! She is so wonderful and threads with precision. Threading is so much better than waxing in many ways such as: 1. Does not irritate skin 2. Less painful 3. Does not leave messy wax residue that most waxing places overlook to clean up. 4. In my opinion, lasts a couple days longer than waxing 5. A much more sanitary procedure than having wax from a communal jar placed on your face.. It only takes about 5 minutes on both brows and costs only $13!!!! Which is always a plus! She only takes appointment becauses she is always booked... of course, cause she's the best!
