GO HERE FOR LUNCH!! This place is absolutely amazing. We've had their breakfast multiple times, definitely the best breakfast in Kearney, but man... the lunch is just as good. My husband got the chicken bacon ranch bowl that was kind of like a grilled chicken salad and I got the chicken bacon ranch wrap with chipotle mayonnaise. We also got the crispy onions for an appetizer with chipotle mayonnaise- those are out of this world. I also got a side of cheese fries, which I devoured in about 30 seconds- also dipped in the chipotle.. Make sure you order a gallon of the chipotle mayonnaise, it took the wrap to another level! The server Samantha was amazing, very welcoming and took fantastic care of us. The restaurant was clean and overall a great experience. Great little place! There are more tables inside than I expected, and the friendly service is what makes it stand out. I've only been here for breakfast twice, ordering the same simple, traditional breakfast both times--and we like it. My mom lives within walking distance, so it's convenient too. Not sure why we drive all the way to Liberty to wait in line for the same thing. Maybe it's the biscuits and gravy they don't have, but that's what my husband orders, not me, so there's that. They do however, have pancakes, breakfast burritos, and, of course, eggs. If you want to hop off the highway, grab a bite while you wait for the cook, and get back on the road, this place is perfect. You get your regular fare of food here, the staff is always friendly and their service is great. The server checked on us several times, and served our table well. It is a local place and you will see local pictures from car club, etc. On today's visit, we were celebrating the birthday of a friend we lost - the manager gave us the piece of chocolate cake on the house and made it very special. Tried this place out for a lunch date with my husband. It was our first time stopping in Kearney. We had business with the local muffler shop. we tried the ice cream parlor door thinking it was the way in because its up on the front corner. Should have paid attention to the paper window sign. "Ice cream Parlor Permanently Closed!". Permanently?? the place is literally called D'Creamery..as in a creamery of ice cream...So right off the bat disappointment. Seems like false advertising if its just burgers and sandwiches. Made our way to the restaurant side after following the arrows up high in the windows (not at eye level) and walked into a open place that looked partially abandoned but still open..? Music was very loud. Only one other table was seated and they had food. We grabbed menus and silverware packs by door. sign said "seat yourself". we wait. and waited. and waited. No sign of any employee. We kept waiting. finally we started making jokes that it must be a make it yourself too. We were talking about leaving when a young gal came up out of nowhere with no real uniform or name tag and asked what we wanted to drink. They dont have sweet tea. who cares right..well i do. and now ive waited for a closed ice cream parlor, no desired drink. reading a menu with prices between $7(sides)-$16(food) and not impressed. husband asked their root beer and the server doesnt know how to pronounce BARQs. We got up thanked her efforts of sorts and left. whole experience was weird. I feel like there was zero effort. We walked in the eatery side first. The teenage girl was so welcoming and nice. She gave us a to-go menu and highlighted their hours for us. She said she hoped we would be back to eat another time and we definitely will. We then proceeded to the ice cream part. This other teenage girl was super nice and friendly too. Scoops are $1 each and the ice cream is $2.50 a scoop. I think they had 10-12 flavors. 80% of them are homemade! I tried the butterscotch, cherry and banana with wow it butter. SO good! Wow this place really kinda shocked me it was so good! We all traded bites too everyone's food was so good! I know they partnered with a local butcher shop "Farm Fresh Meats" which is in Kearney as well and you can tell the meat there was so freaking good and the flavor combinations on their food is top notch! A couple of weeks ago, while on The KC Eats forum, I saw a picture of a burger that struck my fancy. I thought to myself if that tastes as good as it looks, it's worth investigating. So, investigate I did! It was from a place up in Kearney called D'Creamery. So, with nothing better to do tonight, I decided that this burger they called The Gump, should please my palate. Upon arrival, I go inside where I am greeted, and was explained the order process. You order at the register and they bring you the order to your table. That works for me! Upon looking more closely at menu I see The Famous Double Gump Burger is listed, how interesting! The Famous Double Gump Burger consists of two 5 oz patties of Angus beef served fully dressed in ketchup, mustard, mayo, pickles, romaine lettuce, red onion, tomato, with the choice of American, Cheddar, Pepper Jack, or swiss. I chose Cheddar, added bacon and I subbed onion rings for the fries. The whole package was served on a bun that stood up well to a very juicy sandwich. Will you just look at the monster that they brought me! I needed a hinged jaw to eat this beast. And it wasn't that it was big in size, it had great flavor. As I was leaving, I told them they need to change the name of that burger to The Jaw Stretcher Special! Well done D'Creamery! read more

WOW, had no idea D'creamery was open for Sunday breakfast! Perfect for us, love breakfast! Saw a post on FB this morning of their menu items and had to come check it out! FANTASTIC food and friendly staff. We had the biscuits and gravy meal, and the half stack meal. Both were great. We then bought a cinnamon roll, to go! They only make a few of the rolls each day and they go fast! Couldn't have been a better first experience, we'll definitely be back! read more

This small town spot is amazing. Everything is so delicious. In a brand new space, they opened this little small town burger and ice cream joint and I couldn't have been happier. The "gump" burgers are huge and juicy melting with cheeses and a nice toasted bun. Double triple single whatever you want! Their chicken sandwiches are too die for as well. Grilled or fried you can't go wrong! Homemade ice cream and shakes? Yes please. Every week they have different flavors of yummy. Give this place a try! D'Creamery is a hidden gem here in Kearney! After hearing through the grapevine about the great burgers there, my mom and I decided to try it for ourselves. We were not disappointed! We were able to enjoy a quiet dinner as the restaurant wasn't very crowded and our food came out very quickly. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger with battered fries and my mom ordered the single Gump burger with the fried pickle appetizer. We were both very impressed with the food there and definitely will be returning! The fries were flavorful and had a crisp to them, the burgers were juicy, and the fried pickles were tangy and delicious! The one suggestion I'd have for improvement is to work on making more of a cozy atmosphere, maybe by putting in booths, for example. Very cute decorations, though! This is the second visit to D'Creamery. First visit was okay. Had lunch. All was as expected. Really liked the facility at their new location in Kearney. This visit, we were here for breakfast on Sunday morning. Arrived and had order placed at 9:59 am. Breakfast finally arrive at 10:53. I had eggs and toast. My wife had biscuits and gravy, and an egg. We almost left at 45 minutes. We should have. Order my scrambled eggs without sausage. It came with sausage. It also came with jalapeños, which weren't in the menu, and if they would have been, I would have requested that they not be in my eggs. I really need them to succeed, as we need more dining options in Kearney, so I will be giving them another try. Keeping my fingers crossed for a better experience next time. read more
