Ex: ordered at 11:30 am, pick up time of 11:55-12:00, food was ready closer to 12:10 and I received the 'your food is ready text' at 12:45 pm. While this isn't a bad thing if you have time, if you're on a tight lunch schedule I'd look otherwise. This location is also a bit smaller than their Parkville location, so if it's crowded it's very noticeable and can get a little overwhelming. I do prefer the Platte City location to Parkville though, as their Parkville location doesn't do that good of a job when I order online (this may just be me but I have to take it into consideration). Overall, I do recommend it, just be aware that it is pricey, when packed it can get a little overwhelming, and be aware of how long you have to eat.

The staff were very friendly, and I loved the vibe- a mix of old school and new in an old (but very well maintained) brick building in downtown Weston. My one note about the Cajun chicken sandwich is that the seasoning, while very tasty, is mild in terms of spice. So if you're expecting spice, you'll probably want to add some spicy BBQ sauce or something similar. All in all this place is such a gem, and I recommend it to anyone visiting Weston during a mealtime!

We opted for the $90/person prix fixe menu, and it's the right choice. You can try so much of the menu. Everything was delicious. I think I finally understand what the judges on Top Chef mean when they say a dish is perfectly balanced. Even the whipped cream on the sticky toffee pudding changed my life. You will leave stuffed and happy - with your life changed. KC folks - I promise it's worth the drive out to Weston. Make it a day trip. Shop around, visiting a winery, tour Green Dirt Farms, end your day with the best meal of your life. Please leave mega early for your reservation time to find parking though. There were so many good choices that it was hard to pick, especially since we're were splitting a meal. After we placed our order, I was lamenting that I wished BC Bistro was near our home or my office because I really liked their salad choices. The employees were friendly. We both ordered the lamb burger, which consists of two smashed lamb patties, homemade pickles, American cheese, caramelized onions, and mayo on a buttery potato bun. For our sides, we ordered the macaroni and cheese. One downside is there aren't very many drink options to choose from. I'll start with the burger. My burger was greasy. The smashed patties tasted burnt and, on the patty's edges, were crispy, black...I don't know what to call them, but they tasted like the leftover bits from the grill. When I tried my husband's burger, his tasted better and, for the first time in our married life, I asked if we could trade. The macaroni and cheese is spiral pasta with white cheddar sauce and sprinkled with shredded Parmesan. It was okay, but definitely needed seasoning. When we got home, we both had upset stomachs, which were enough to say we won't be returning.
