New favorite breakfast place, sorry Roxann's. Great prices, friendly, clean restaurant with good food! Stop by right off I-29 easy access.

The cheese burger omelette is outta sight good. And it is just like it looks. It's my usual choice.

Great family comfort food. Excellent coffee. Fair prices too. We eat here two three times a week. Quiet and very clean. We fully recommend it.

Burger, curly fries, chefs salad. Yum!

Super nice staff, huge, interesting menu and delicious food. Is it over priced? My $8 hamburger says yes; my $3 chefs salad says no. So a solid idk in that category. Food is good. Not fast, but not excessively slow. This is a restaurant of contradictions and idks. Go try it out yourself! 4 stars, because I wasn't sure if 5 stars was accurate. But 4 sure is!

One day we decided to try this place out and have been going ever since. This place is located in the truck stop. Makes it very convenient. You stop for gas, can have a nice home cooked meal and check out all the good stuff in the truck stop. I, myself, love to check out truck stops and see what kind of stuff I can find. The Cafe has delicious food. You also will want to come hungry because the portions are pretty good sized. I usually get the catfish dinner or the shrimp basket. Both are delicious. The catfish is so tender it falls apart and the homemade tartar sauce for it is just as good! The shrimp basket comes with a good amount of nice crispy shrimp along with regular fries or curly fries. Personally, I love the curly fries. But either are delicious. The shrimp is crunchy yet tender. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. Also, every booth & table also has its out outlet so you can charge your phone or any electronic you have with you. Super convenient and not something you see a whole lot of (at least I dont). The staff is also very friendly as well!

This place is pretty good we stopped just to get breakfast the service & food were great.

(Especially in this economy) While ordering online, be aware that the time it says on the ordering portal/site is not generally accurate. I, on multiple occasions, have ordered something with a specific pick up time selected (I left plenty of time, thirty minutes from when I ordered to when I wanted to pick it up) and the food still was not ready. Ex: ordered at 11:30 am, pick up time of 11:55-12:00, food was ready closer to 12:10 and I received the 'your food is ready text' at 12:45 pm. While this isn't a bad thing if you have time, if you're on a tight lunch schedule I'd look otherwise. This location is also a bit smaller than their Parkville location, so if it's crowded it's very noticeable and can get a little overwhelming. I do prefer the Platte City location to Parkville though, as their Parkville location doesn't do that good of a job when I order online (this may just be me but I have to take it into consideration). Overall, I do recommend it, just be aware that it is pricey, when packed it can get a little overwhelming, and be aware of how long you have to eat.

This trip my son had the breakfast burrito and I had the veggie breakfast bowl. My son said his burrito was great! It is not served with salsa and is dry without it so order a side of salsa if you get this. I ordered the breakfast veggie bowl that had quinoa and lots of fresh veggies in it along with scrambled eggs on top. What put it over the top was the basil aioli! OMgoodness!!!! Sooooooo good! (If possible, order more aioli. It is unbelievably yummy) Hands down the best breakfast place in Weston. (I think they have the best coffee in town too :) )

The portions were perfect and the flavors were a melody that would make you think your favorite aunt is in the kitchen whipping it all up. We had a perfect start to the day at Hailey's and I'd go back in a heartbeat. Thank you to the friendly awesome team who brings it all together

The server started out the meal by saying "Your life is going to be changed by the end of this…read moremeal." And she was right. There are 4 tables in this restaurant. They don't even have a real sign, just a humble chalk board leaning up against the building. Reservations open a couple of months in advance, and they will fill up. I managed to secure a reservation ($25 deposit/person) on my girlfriend's birthday luckily! The menu changes seasonally. Many of the ingredients are sourced locally at peak freshness. Cheese from the creameries down the street. Beef from local farmers. Apples from the server's grandpa's farm. You watch the chef preparing everything in the open kitchen. We opted for the $90/person prix fixe menu, and it's the right choice. You can try so much of the menu. Everything was delicious. I think I finally understand what the judges on Top Chef mean when they say a dish is perfectly balanced. Even the whipped cream on the sticky toffee pudding changed my life. You will leave stuffed and happy - with your life changed. KC folks - I promise it's worth the drive out to Weston. Make it a day trip. Shop around, visiting a winery, tour Green Dirt Farms, end your day with the best meal of your life. Please leave mega early for your reservation time to find parking though. Downtown Weston will get parked up at night. Don't be late for your reservation time (but don't show up too early either). Remember, there are literally 4 tables. They can't seat you until the party before you leaves.

It has a very different vibe and menu than the other places in town which is a nice switch up but it is outside of the main area of town a bit (still only like a 3-5 minute drive from downtown so not bad at all). The employees were friendly. We both ordered the lamb burger, which consists of two smashed lamb patties, homemade pickles, American cheese, caramelized onions, and mayo on a buttery potato bun. For our sides, we ordered the macaroni and cheese. One downside is there aren't very many drink options to choose from. I'll start with the burger. My burger was greasy. The smashed patties tasted burnt and, on the patty's edges, were crispy, black...I don't know what to call them, but they tasted like the leftover bits from the grill. When I tried my husband's burger, his tasted better and, for the first time in our married life, I asked if we could trade. The macaroni and cheese is spiral pasta with white cheddar sauce and sprinkled with shredded Parmesan. It was okay, but definitely needed seasoning. When we got home, we both had upset stomachs, which were enough to say we won't be returning.
