Prior to hiring D Global Construction for a roof replacement I had taken a few other estimates. I called several more companies to inquire about the estimate and it was quite the hassle. The other estimates were really high in my opinion. One company didn't even have any references and another didn't show up. It took me a few weeks of researching contractors and taking different estimates and finally I landed on D Global Construction and spoke with David. I had a refreshing conversation and I could tell that his company was on another level. I felt at ease after our initial conversation I had great insight and was very satisfied at his knowledge. David and his team are extremely professional, very respectful, and well organized. My wife and I needed to replace our old deck with Trex deck, windows and doors. We had several requests that we wanted included in the build, like stucco posts, a pergola, and an open concept. David took the time to listen to our desires and far exceeded our expectations. Our deck is 250 square feet, steel frame and staircase, composite decking material, stucco posts, and a cedar pergola. David went beyond what was required in all facets of the construction. His design allowed for the Trex deck to only require two support posts, thus creating a larger open space below the deck. He also installed a much stronger supporting beam for the pergola, ensuring the build will last longer. The steel frame allowed for fewer support posts for the staircase, creating a smaller profile. I strongly recommend the company to anyone looking to build a deck. They also installed three new exterior doors, a new garage door, new windows, new gutters, new stucco and stone overlay. Given the times we are in today, it can be somewhat stressful selecting a company that will spend several days on your property. I am grateful we selected D Global Construction and got what we felt like their best project manager, Nikki. We decided to get 3 quotes and although they were not the cheapest, they were the right ones. Price was not our only deciding factor when selecting D Global Construction. Some of the other companies do not offer the full spectrum of services that we were looking for. We were blessed to have Nikki as our project manager. She is extremely knowledgeable and not only answered all of our questions but expanded and asked questions we didn't know to ask. This makes her a true asset. We can tell that management cares about their staff because they were all very courteous and pleasant to deal with. When you treat your staff right they then treat customers in the same way or better. Nikki came to our home, she arrived at the time we agreed on. Our experience with others was not only were they not on time but some didn't bother to show up or have the courtesy to call to reschedule or cancel. I'm sorry I've digressed. Nikki put together an estimate that covered all of our needs. We needed a new roof, insulation in all the rooms since our home was built in the 1950's and insulation was not required much back then so our home either got very hot or very cold depending on the season. Our living room is an addition with a flat roof and desperately needed insulation. We ended up going with Spray Polyurethane Foam (SPF) for our flat roof. Her estimate was priced very competitively to the other proposals I received and included all of the options and elements that were discussed on-site. We really appreciated that level of detail in the bid and the different options they offered according to what we expressed our needs were. We decided to go with OC cool roof, SPF foam insulation on our flat roof which by the way we felt a HUGE difference the next day. We also added insulation in our attic and foam insulation in the rest of the house. At first, we were going with holes inside the house and patch after for best result. Her and her team instead came up with a different solution by going through the roof instead. Yes, we had to pay for more plywood but it saved us from having to touchup inside. We appreciated how they approached our job as if we were family. With the least amount of stress and best results! The crew arrived on our property on time each day and worked extremely hard to complete the tear-down, felting, and shingling. They were extremely respectful of our property and privacy while onsite, they cleaned up at the end of each workday, and conducted themselves professionally during the county inspections. I must say the comradery between them while working or having lunch was a sight to see. Everything from beginning to end our project was handled without any hiccups. We are extremely pleased with the customer service, quality craftsmanship, and professionalism we received throughout the entire process. The quality of materials exceeded our expectation. Several neighbors have stopped by and commented on the beauty of our new roof. We are more than glad to recommend Nikki and her crew. Early this year I began the search for a contractor to remodel my upstairs bath to include a steam shower. I reached out to many contractors, and only heard back from one that was willing to take it on. I was lucky and got the dream team from D Global Construction. David was my project manager and he was so knowledgeable at every step, and was available at all hours to answer any question I had throughout the 3 week-long project. They spent a three weeks with great attention to detail, demoing and rebuilding the bathroom, and also helped the guy that did the plumbing.
