While the café isn't officially pet friendly indoors, we've brought Luna inside with us just to place our order, and no one has ever said anything. If you're looking to sit and eat, there's a very cute (though small) porch area out front. Despite the limited seating, we've always managed to find an open spot during our visits. What I didn't realize until more recently is that they actually have a huge patio in the back as well. It's such a great space and gives you a lot more room to sit and relax. They even have a lift in the back area for disabled accessibility, which I thought was really great to see and not something you find everywhere. Always love the coffee here -- great flavor, consistent quality, and a spot we'll definitely keep coming back to.

The desserts really should have been discarded and not served. Very disappointed. Service could have been better. No way the staff didn't know how old the desserts were in the case. Cookie was okay, better than the desserts in the case. Overall a waste of money and would recommend going somewhere else for dessert.

I knew that I didn't have an option. But I talked to Google and I discovered Opie Drive-Thru Grocery. I was able to place an order and my husband went to Mount Pleasant (1 hour and 7 minutes away from Santee) to pick up the groceries. I prepared our Christmas dinner and it was possible because of Opie Drive-Thru Grocery. Placing the food order was a snap and although there were some items that weren't available, I had those staples in my pantry and fridge. My husband said that picking up our items was a great experience as the young man who assisted him was very friendly and professional. All I can say is that Opie Drive-Thru Grocery saved my Christmas dinner. We could have been eating ham sandwiches and potato chips but instead we dined on homemade lasagna and a garden salad. For a first, this was an awesome experience. Drive-Thru groceries. What a grand concept!

We will definitely be back the next time we're in Mount Pleasant.

The food is authentic, organic, fresh, and absolutely delicious. They have a great selection, including drinks, coffee, cakes, paninis, and sandwiches, and everything I've had has been excellent. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with its own unique style and personality. They also have a really nice outdoor seating area, which makes it even better when the weather is nice. But the best part for me is the customer service. The owner and cook always treat me like family, come out to talk, and make the experience personal every single time. That kind of hospitality is hard to find and makes a big difference. I'm really glad we have a place like this in Mount Pleasant -- authentic food, great atmosphere, and genuinely wonderful people. Three thumbs up, five stars. Highly recommend.

The space/area are cute, with accessible parking. There is an outdoor area with tables/chairs - not sure if they are associated with the cafe specifically or not, but customers were utilizing them. They have options for breakfast (served until 12pm) and various salads, wraps, and sandwiches for lunch. We were greeted upon entering and the woman at the counter was very friendly. I chose the Spicy Chicken Wrap and a caramel frappe. The frappe was pretty and also yummy. The wrap was huge - I could only eat half of it. It was essentially a large salad wrapped in a tortilla. It wasn't that spicy, but it was tasty. Service was quick, the place was clean, staff was friendly, and the food was good. I would certainly go back again.

We each ordered a panini. I went with the vegetarian option and my husband had the smoked salmon. Both were very good--fresh ingredients and tasty flavors--and came with a small side salad. Nothing extravagant, but solid and satisfying. Afterward, we lingered with coffee and pastries. The chocolate-filled pastry and the pecan almond cinnamon roll were both excellent, and the coffees were tasty (though my café au lait was a bit on the smaller side). The standout was the service. The young lady working the counter was genuinely friendly, helpful, and patient as we asked questions and took our time deciding. It made the whole visit feel welcoming. Overall, although the price was a bit high for lunch and dessert, we had a pleasant experience and will definitely be back for another lunch or just to grab pastries and coffee. A nice local French bakery vibe without being fussy. Recommended.

They do not rush you and help describe the various goodies on display. We were like kids in a candy shop wanting one of everything. While you wait in line, they offer free samples to get you excited about the wonderfulness within. Now I am sharing a lot of photos, but I did not try everything. We were visiting my mother-in-law in the hospital, so we shared with her and visiting family, I will talk about the ones I did try. The chocolate croissant was textbook with a shine on the pastry itself and loads of thin crispy layers and just the right amount of dark chocolate. The Weltons Honey Pie was one of their signature items that they traveled to South America to learn how to make. It reminded me of a light honey flavored cheesecake but denser. The dark chocolate chip cookie will live on in my dreams! Plenty of dark chocolate chips in a thick lightly chewy cookie and sprinkle with sea salt. Oh my! I could eat a dozen easy! Switching to savory we tried the Hot Honey croissant with Soppressata , ricotta and hot honey. Like all their croissants it was super crispy and flaky and reminded me of an Italian sandwich. A great choice if you aren't wanting sweet. But for my wife and I our favorite was the blueberry kolache. Loaded with blueberries and a brown sugar cornmeal crumb it simple melted in our mouths. I have been told their coffee is amazing and the other pictured goodies got rave reviews from my family members. If you have a Charleston food bucket list add this place immediately!
