I don't think I've ever had acrylics this bad. Not only were they not the right shape, they weren't a consistent length or thickness. I asked for coffin and I got these weird chunky almond shaped nails. Half of them broke within two weeks of getting the set on. I don't understand how these people are licensed to do nails. Been going to this for mani-pedi for a number of years now. Not very often or regularly but increasing over the years and I have never been disappointed. In fact, I've always enjoyed the service, the friendly atmosphere and cleanliness of the salon. My wife turned me on to this place when we lived just up the road a piece, and we still come back even though we moved across the river. Great place. Highly recommend it! read more

I moved to PA last year from FL I have truly struggled to find a decent nail shop with decent prices! I was pleasantly surprised with D nails. The staff & customers were beyond friendly! No wait time even with them being busy. I'm not truly happy with the shape I do think it's a great start, and honestly I think the gentleman who helped me just wasn't that confident and second guessed himself! Which I do to when trying new techniques. In total I spent 54.00$ for a full set 2 tone ombré with glitter and long coffin shape & of course my mini divas nails and design! ( 54.00$ does not include my tip!) I also like my acrylics thick as I clean homes for a living and am super hard on my nails! I will definitely be back and speak up about my shaping issues as the staff was so friendly I have no fear of speaking my wants! read more

Went on a Friday afternoon had to wait a little. Allot of parking. Very clean and organize business. Reasonable price, $17 for a refill. Loved my refill done by Anthony, so far the best nail technician in the Harrisburg area. One of the worst experiences I've ever had. 1st Nail technician tried to start my pedicure water and touch the Equipement without changing gloves after just touching another male clients feet who clearly had previous problems with nail fungus. She changed gloves and ran scalding hot water on my feet. Then when I told her I didn't want a pedicure anymore and that I was going to leave another technician was sent to do my pedicure. That technician put on clean gloves sat down ; opened the mini trash can that was full of dirty gloves beside her touched a bundle of dirty gloves and proceeded to begin my pedicure . I asked her why would she touch dirty gloves and then attempt to do my pedicure. Her response was " she has to take the trash out at night and that's why she did it. I told her no thank you. She did not have to do my pedicure. I asked her dry my feet and I left. read more

Went in for a French tip full set. The work was rushed...Instead of painting white polish on tips they glued on white nails instead. So I cannot really change my nails for my next fill. It's either I get another French tip or forced to get a solid color. Too thick of acrylic and bubbly looking. Don't recommend. read more

Tried it out & would never go back! The massage was awful, the massage chair was broken so a ball was digging into my spine the whole time. My leg is still sore from the odd smacking/punching massage technique she used. . My friends nails were chipping the next day! Never again. read more

I used to be a frequent customer of D-Nails however I hadn't been there in a few years. I went for the first time again this morning for a pedicure with my daughter and while they were prompt and polite my pedicure looks terrible. It seems like within a few hours all of the cracks, calluses, etc. I had prior to coming were visible again. Between my daughter and I, I spent $50 and will have to visit another nail salon to have it completely redone before the end of the week. Their services have clearly gone way downhill since I was last there. Super disappointed. read more

EYEBROW WAX Review only! Most places either have you lay down or place you in a reclined chair to be waxed. Not this place. The woman basically had me sit on a cushioned backless foot stool with my back pushed up against the wall squished between a pedicure chair and the sink!? My left arm was literally inside the sink. Just as the woman was about to place wax on me she yells "ohh you oily!" Thanks. Then she proceeds to roughly rub some form of oil remover on my skin like she was polishing silver! I'm sure I lost a layer of skin but for now I will count it as a mini exfoliation. She then asks if I would like her to clean my eyebrows up. I reply yes......what I got was a new set of nonexistent eyebrows that were super thin, uneven, crooked and a HOT MESS. This was all her doing. The last place I went to did a great job so it's not like she had to correct anything and there was plenty of new growth for her to focus on and remove appropriately. The wax was $8 and the minimum card transaction amount is $10. If you are desperate for an eyebrow fix find a random piece of scrap metal and do it yourself because this place is by far the worst. read more

I just got the worst mani/pedi of my life at this place. First of all, it was a man, which I really don't like for a pedicure. I don't want a strange man massaging my legs. He was very rough and scratched my shin with an abrasive brush. And the manicure was just awful. It was so sloppy, I spent over a half hour trying to peel off the gel of the skin around my fingernails. I had to ask for him to do a prep w/ alcohol and he didn't use any cuticle remover. 55$!!! Plus tip. Never again. read more

My mom and I were looking for a new place to go get our nails done so we tried D-Nails; 1. Instead of them using nail polish remover to get my old polish off they used a nail file for all my nails! 2. Then went right into filling my nails directly after removing the polish. Used no tool to smooth down the old acrylic, put no liquid from a bottle at the base of my nails before applying the new acrylic! I've been getting my nails done for 10 years, I know the steps. 3. After filling them, she never took the drill under my nails for any hang nails or acrylic bumps that form when putting on the new acrylic! 4. Usually after acrylic and the drill and buffer they put oil on your cuticles and you go wash your hands- nope no oil and no washing my hands! She sprayed my hands with a spray bottle and then painted! All while my mom got oil and went to wash her hands! 5. When painting my French tip with orange polish she gave one coat of orange and put clear coat on right away! The color was so dull and this was a bright orange! Typically 2 coats is what's added! Needless to say I won't be back, it was like she was trying to skimp on things and save supplies! $8 extra for French and she wanted to give me one coat of polish! My mom and I compared our steps afterwards! You can't charge someone full price if you're not going to give them the full service read more

I tried this place for the first time and just wanted a regular old pedicure. It certainly wasn't anything special and definitely wasn't worth the $28 it cost. $28 for a regular pedicure is outrageous and much more expensive than any other nail salon I've been to. I will definitely not be returning! read more

Been coming here with my mom since I was a baby. They are so nice and do an amazing job at nails. Extremely clean as well

They do a very thorough pedicure but don't value appointment time. I once had to wait 45 mins after my scheduled apt in the pedicure chair before someone started me. They do pretty designs and greet every customer though. Prices are reasonable. read more

I made a pedicure appointment for 3:45 pm. I walked in and they quickly sat me down in a pedicure chair and had me soak my feet. I sat there, with my feet soaking, for 25 minutes. I decided to get up and leave and as I did so a lady asked me to sit back down and they would be with me soon. When I explained my appointment was at 3:45 she said they couldn't help the rush as it was a holiday weekend. So my appointment was pushed by all of the walk ins.
