1st of all, let me start by saying that I followed Ryan (the owner) from his salon in West LA. I was heartbroken knowing that complex was being taken over. So it's a true delight that he was able to get into another location! I'll happily travel to him for quality service! Ryan and his staff are all so incredibly amazing at what they do. He, in particular, is fast, detail-oriented, and the pricing is great for the results you get! The salon is spacious and clean! There is so much FREE parking in the plaza lot. And, appointments can be easily made by calling or texting. I'm personally an old-school acrylic fan and there's no better spot to get quality acrylics that are durable, shaped perfectly, clean cuticles, and an extremely huge selection of polish colors (both regular and gel). Ryan is also good at nail design for simple painted designs, encapsulated nails, and ombre's! He's also very fast! Full set and design in an hour and refill & paint/design in about 30ish mins. If you're looking for a new spot to get your nails done that provides quality services and results, I absolutely recommend coming here!! read more

I've been to this place twice because I wanted to try a new place. First time, I got a full set and pedi. The lady who did my pedi, barely cut and trimmed my toenails. I went two weeks later for a refill on my full set , she had to remove all nails because they were in bad shape. One week later they fall off. I will not be going back to this place. I've always loved this salon and come here regularly for my nails. The staff has always been great, and I even brought my boyfriend a few times for pedicures. However, there's a new lady doing pedicures now, and the experience was honestly terrible. She cut all of his toenails extremely short--so short that even the lady doing his shine and buff kept looking over in surprise. He's been here before and said that's never happened. The same lady actually did my pedicure last time too, and I remember feeling rushed. She cut my nails while the gel polish was still on and left them choppy and uneven. I really do love this place and the rest of the staff--everyone else is always so gentle, detail-oriented, and genuinely passionate about their care. That's why this experience stood out even more. My boyfriend's toes are sore from how short she cut them, and I almost wish I could go back to show them. Not sure how she's working there with that level of care. read more

I had high hopes for this place given all the outstanding reviews. Helen was really sweet. But I felt that what I asked for I didn't receive. I know my nails are shorter than the inspo pic, but the flowers were just not totally what I was expecting and were very large. My right hand looked better than my left as the left flowers resembled big blobs. I felt rushed towards the end because my appointment was booked close to closing. But I had made myself clear that I was wanting a design beforehand so they should have budgeted time better. Overall this isn't to bash the service, she was nice. I just felt for over $60 I'd at least get what I payed for. Or at least I wish they could tell me they wouldn't be able to fit that many flowers on my nails as I had hoped. I would have just walked away. I think if the flowers were done smaller they would have fit more. Also I didn't feel that the sanitation was up to par in terms of the tools being used. Sadly, I need to find another nail salon. Last time, it was obvious they took two walk-ins just as I arrived, so I had to wait nearly 40 minutes for my pedicure. This time, the owner told me my nail technician needed a 10-minute lunch break, right at my scheduled appointment time of 3:15pm. A half hour later, I asked if he was coming back soon. When Steven finally started my nails, he tried to make me feel bad for not being 'patient' while he took his break, saying his regular customers understand he needs to eat and wait for him. Apparently, the phone number I provide when booking an appointment can't be used to notify me if they're running late. Instead, I was shamed for their lack of professionalism. It is also incredibly rude to hold extremely loud conversations across the shop in another language, yet the staff all seem to think this is acceptable. It is far from a relaxing environment. Steven rushed through my nails so quickly that I had to point out a large spot he missed filling before applying the gel polish. Of course, that was somehow my fault too, because instead of a fill, he said I should get a full set next time. For this, I paid $48 plus tip and left with a headache. Steven, please use my $10 tip to buy yourself some manners. My sister and her two daughters have already found another salon that treats them with dignity. Now it's my turn. I'm glad this shop is so busy they won't miss four former regular customers. read more
