We were able to walk in and get two seats at the bar (our preferred seating when available) even though the rest of the restaurant was full. Here are all the things that went right: - we were immediately greeted by the bartender Jackson and presented menus and water and told about the featured cocktails -as we were deciding what to drink, I noticed a pretty impressive coctktail list and a list of some very good, rich red wines -the Angel's Envy Bourbon Berry Smash was delicious..spoken by someone who normally doesn't like bourbon but wanted to try an Angels Envy bourbon drink that was not too sweet. I chose the raspberry rosemary syrup as the berry of choice. My boyfriend had a well made gin and soda. -nice to see there were appetizer and entree specials. Makes you want to come back to see what will be on the specials list each week in addition to a nice well-rounded menu -Jackson helped us select among multiple good sounding entrees. As a pescatarian I wanted a seafood dish and decided on the suggested seafood risotto. My date was between a couple of fish dishes but after a discussion with the bartender and a further description he decided on the Maui Mahi with coconut risotto. We chose to split a salad rather than have an appetizer. -the meal--the salad came out on two plates so we did not need to divide the spring mixed berry and goat cheese salad. It was delicious and fresh and definitely enough for two side salads. We were also provided some warm crusty bread with olive oil and balsamic. Our entrees were of good portion size, visually appealing and HOT---not just warm---which I greatly appreciated and talked about after we left. The risotto was prepared perfectly by someone who clearly knows how to make a proper risotto--it was not gluey and set-up, but perfectly tender and creamy. The seafood was delicious. The scallops were seared nicely and not overly salty (something many restaurants don't understand is that you typically don't have to salt shellfish as it is salty/briny on its own). My boyfriend's mahi was sizable portion on top of an ever so slightly sweet and spicy coconut risotto. His was fantastic as well. We also enjoyed the sautéed zucchini that came with both..also nice and hot! -we had a delicious bottle of wine with dinner. After we paid for dinner and left with our remaining wine, we promptly came back in because of the heavy downpour of rain. We sat back down and finished our wine. The things that could be ever so slightly improved: -the lighting in the dining area is fitting of the decor and vibe of a nicer restaurant but the lighting at the bar is just too bright. Could maybe benefit from dimming them and possibly adding a few candals oe the small table/rechargeable lamps along the bar as it seemed wide enough. -the shrimp on the risotto should be two larger shrimp (8-10 size ) rather than the very small shrimp that don't seem to fit the vibe of the dish -there were only two options for dessert...maybe another one or two would be great -a little birdie told us that the restaurant will be having a happy hour menu soon (and a second location). We would LOVE for you to add some truffle fries with some sort of aioli...we can envision ourselves stopping in for those and some wine...often! Great addition to the limited higher end restaurants in the area. We look forward to many more meals there. read more

Went here for the first time with a large group of friends. Everyone loved and enjoyed the ambiance and the service was fairly good. The food, for the price, was nothing special. We each got different kinds of steaks, and nobody was overly impressed with them considering what we were paying for them. Got the garlic mashed potatoes with mine, and they were absolutely horrible! Giving it 3 stars, cause it was a decent steak, and cause it's a nice place. Probably won't come back allot unless I win the lottery, cause I can get significantly better steaks elsewhere for the same high price. read more

Very grateful for this establishment settling in our area. It is apparent the they want to offer an elevated but relaxing dining experience. The decor is welcoming and stylish with comfortable seating. Our waitress was kind and patient in guiding us in our entree selections. She was knowledgeable of the menu and the bar. The bartender won our respect by properly preparing a vesper martini. All of our food options were beautifully plated, offering enough to share with our appetizers and leftovers of our main entrees. Delicious. Every single item was cooked to perfection and rounded out by their potatoes and seasonal vegetables which were also flavorful and cooked to perfection. WOW, what a pleasant surprise. Hides behind the great breakfast spot, Morning Post. Very nice well decorated comfortable high dinner spot with a soft jazz feel. Wait staff very attentive and seem well trained. Limited sea food and steak menu but with great choices. Our meals of sea food ragu and sea scallops were very tasty and well presented. Thought wine list a bit pricey. Looking for a nice place for a nice dinner out, this will be a good choice. read more

Just went for drinks and a little nosh at the bar and was impressed. Drinks were terrific - TJ is a serious pro - and the food we had was very good. We shared Lobster and Crab Bisque and Dauphinoise Potatoes. Excellent on both counts. I spoke with someone there who had the lamb chops and he said they were done nicely. On this night they had live music at 9 by the wonderful Tony Thompson and that led to a rollicking time of lively dancing and singing along with the group enjoying his show. EL foodies... you've been asking why there can't be a place like this here...well it's here so get out and support D'Nulffos! If you like Dusty's, as we all do, this is for you. read more

Ambience and service were great, enjoyed the flat bread. My filet was cooked poorly, asked for medium rare and received a steak with overcooked nearly burnt exterior which made it very tough/chewy and unenjoyable. Not sure I would return as you are going for the steak. read more

The food was Great! We needed a good steakhouse in this area and I found it! The service was quick and the servers were super nice. The ambience was outstanding, you should see the chandeliers on the ceilings, they are beautiful and clean. Overall, an amazing restaurant. read more
