We're here yesterday to celebrate me and hubby's first casual date 31yrs ago in the 90's and it was in a Filipino fast food restaurant back in Manama, Bahrain and same order every year we do this. We came here in 2021 for the first time and tried other Pinoy places all over Las Vegas and finally our verdict is that they have the best! Good service, the best lumpia ( our fave ) and easy access. I go here for crispy patas and garlic rice. They make some of the best of both! Generous servings of rice and it's SO good and flavorful! The patas always perfectly cooked and the vinegar sets it off! Mouths watering as I write this. I try not to eat them much, but when I do want one I come here and order to go. First time here and I came because I saw they had dinakdakan and lechon paksiw. Everything we ordered was delicious and the portions were huge. Prices were reasonable too. We got the dinakdakan, lechon paksiw, bangus, lumpiang shanghai, and lumpiang sariwa. The three main entrees already came with rice so we did not need to order extra. Service was good and quick. We were in such of a good place to get some halo-halo. This was a place that was close by to my family's house. We decided to give it a try. The restaurant is located in a mini mall and there should be plenty of parking around it. We were greeted by friendly staff members. The restaurant was definitely spacious enough for multiple patrons. They set us down and we took our time to look at the menu. They offer an array of different entrées and dessert. We ordered the halo-halo. At the time that we had ordered it when they brought it to us, they said that it was supposed to be serve served with, flan. But instead they added ube ice cream. My parents wanted to take us out to eat at one of their go to Filipino spots. I love Filipino food so I was excited to try it. We arrived at D'Pinoy Joint on a Saturday late afternoon for lunch. The restaurant is located at an older plaza on West Flamingo Road in Las Vegas. Parking is accessible in the medium size parking out front. The restaurant has simple modern decor. There are plenty of tables and booths for dine in. The atmosphere is welcoming and family friendly. There is a connecting banquet room that can be rented out for special occasions. A surprise 60th birthday was taking place at the time and it looked like a nice setup. My parents recommended we try a Kamayan feast which is a traditional Filipino dining style where the food is eaten with bare hands and served on banana leaves. This is meant as a family style communal dining. The Kamayan feast we ordered is a Kapamilya package that consisted of white rice, pancit, Shanghai lumpia, crispy pata, pork sisig, fried bangus, and bihon. It is good enough for 4-6 people to eat. Everything was delicious and savory. My favorite is the crispy pata. The pork meat was tender, moist, and fell off the bones. The fried bangus is a boneless milkfish that was so tasty. Every bite was scrumptious and it went well with the white rice. The Shanghai lumpia was crispy and flavorful. The sweet chili sauce complimented the lumpia perfectly. Overall we enjoyed our experience at D' Pinoy Joint. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The price point of the Kamayan package is a great value for a large family. 5/13/26 our company came here to celebrate Nurses week. My first time here and EVERYTHING was so good. We ordered Kare Kare: meat was very tendor and flavor was on point. Pancit was tasty. Crispy pata was definitely crispy and pork was tender with perfect flavor. Sizzling Sisig bangus was the bomb. Loved it. We had a dish with soup with shrimp, veggies, noodles in it that was very savory and tasty (forgot the name of it) . Dessert: we ended up with the halo halo...it wasn't overly sweet and had the right amount of fillings. I ordered the mango drink as well and that was refreshing and not too sweet. So let's break this down into 2 parts. Ambiance is 1 star. Food is 3-4 star depending on what you order Upon first walking in. Dead silence. No music. 4 tables with people at them. It's currently 634pm. Not as busy as I thought. But they been pumping out to-go orders left and right and people walking in and walking out. Next my instincts was to look around the room for speakers. Sure enough each corner has a sound system so don't know why it doesn't utilized or at least get if fixed so it's not so dead and more enjoyable. Then let's get to the food. Like all restaurants and from experience. Not every single food on the menu will be great. So best to try a variety of foods before passing judgment. Since this is my first time we had 2 different dishes. The chicken curry wasn't really a curry. It was decent. But it was more like a thin broth soup consistent. Nothing like a curry from other Filipino restaurants i have tried. Next up was the crispy pata. This was the saving grace for me. I have seen places screw this up. Either overcook it and the skin is too hard. Under cook it and it's soggy. They justified this. But on the other hand the shrimp paste sauce was more like it was mixed with oil. Once we removed the top layer of oil it was good to eat with the crispy pata. Yes I will be back again. As I still need to try other things on the menu. But this is my stance as of now. read more

I was headed to a nearby restaurant, but saw this place when I stepped out of my car and immediately made a change in plans. Greatest decision I've made in a long time, and this also includes recently breaking up with my girlfriend and dodged a major bullet! The menu here is quite extensive, but I got here at 10 am and was out looking specifically for breakfast. I had the bangsilog (portmanteau of BANGus, SInangag, and itLOG--milkfish, garlic fried rice, and egg). The bangus was seasoned just right and fried so crispy that you can eat the bones and head. Garlic rice was nice, egg was overeasy like I enjoy it. My favorite was the crispy okoy, which is a vegetable fritter with garlic and shrimp. Imagine if your egg foo yung was crispy instead of fluffy. Service is wonderful and friendly, restaurant is bright and clean. I hope this place is still here when I make my next annual Vegas trip. Came here for lunch special but missed it by a day! They only have it on the weekdays from 10-4pm. So decided to get the Sizzling pork sisig which was my second choice. And a side of garlic rice. It only came with one scoop rice. I also ordered the sago bulamon as my drink easy on the ice. And that was so refreshing! The sweet toasted sugar flavor with those little tapioca pearls (boba). Always a nice go to! Now it's time for tasting. The sisig here is really good very flavorful with the right amount of lemon and spice and they use lechon in there's. I wish that was a little more crispy overall amazing flavor it can be a little fatty to some maybe ask to cook it longer? But with eating with garlic rice made it even taste better. We were on our way to the Premium Outlet South, and was hungry for Filipino food. Lo and behold, a quick Yelp search resulted in D'Pinoy Joint, right outside of the actual mall. The restaurant is located near Goodwill and Black Bear Diner. Walking in, we were greeted and quickly seated. The place is very nice and clean. Looking at the menu, they have all the Filipino favorites... except my favorite, Sari Sari, which is what I actually wanted. I did look through the entire menu, and didn't see it, but I may have just missed it. We ordered several lunch special plates, our choices ended up being bistek of pork adobo, lechon kawali, oxtail karekare, beef kaldereta, bistek, and a side of Shanghai lumpia. There was a hiccup along the way to our meals. We all ordered the bistek, and we were later told that they don't have bistek today. Ok back to the menu, made the adjustment and waited for our food. Although the food was pretty good, there was a few things that i want to point out. First, the pork adobo was very salty. Tasty, but salty. Second, the oxtail kare kare was really good, except one order had 3 pieces of oxtail (my son), and mine had NONE! Geez, please make sure that there's some oxtail in the oxtail Kare Kare! This is one of my favorite authentic filipino restaurants! I've dined in and ordered take out several times at this location. I've gone to the other location as well and they're pretty consistent. My normal go to are the pork belly sisig, sinigang, oxtail soup, and lechon kawali. I love their pork belly sisig with a fried egg on top. It comes on a sizzling plate that cooks the pork belly and egg. The pork sinigang is one of my faves. It is extra sour just how I like it and comes with super tender pork belly, bok choy, daikon, tomatoes, etc. I ordered the pork sinigang last time, and they wrapped it really well along with the small side of rice. Comes in a generous portion that can be shared with family or a group. This place has plenty of seating as well as the other location. Great with groups. Went here since my Vegas family brought us here. The location of the places looked a little sketchy, and even the establishment looked a bit rundown. I had gone to the bathroom and there was no soap in the soap dispenser so I had to notify the front desk, but the refilled it immediately. Based on this I was a bit leary about the food. Once the food was served, I immediately changed my mind. The dishes were served on a huge platter covered with a banana leaf, which was reminiscent of how my mom served food during our birthdays. In addition everything my Dad and Aunt ordered was authentic and delicious! There was salads of tomato/onion/mango, perfectly crispy lechon, batter fried shrimp so good, we even ate the shell. We had pancit, Aychara, and fresh lumpia. Although the service wasn't that great, the food definitely made up for it! O would definitely order from there again! read more

Service here is great and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food and prices were not up to par. I picked up my $15 arroz caldo which was just a small takeout container that definitely did not seem worth that much. It was a deep orange that made it look more so like Goto than arroz caldo. The rice was more gritty and it was waaaay too salty than it was gingered. It didn't seem fresh either. My receipt has "yes" to include utensils and napkins, but there was none in the bag. I needed this bowl to awaken my spirits after a long week of recovering from a cold, and sad to say, it did not do the job. In the middle of a 110 degrees heat during a Las Vegas Summer, Father Vic of Saint Francis of Assisi parish recommended this restaurant for their fine Filipino dishes. We ordered the adobo, pancit (noodles) and squid which came with some rice and condiments. Having had Filipino food before, my standards were measured against much of the dishes I have enjoyed. The adobo was a little average with more oiliness than ordinary and could have had more vinegar and salt or fish sauce. The pancit was also average and the squid was too oily. I think the cooking could have been better, in many way. In fairness, since they cooked it for an order, the dish could have tasted better if the dish was prepared earlier before it was served. The restaurant was poorly lit, wall posters were ordinary and certainly empty at the time. I hope it can improve over time. read more

Mood - Longanisa Now yes I eat alot of Filipino food. So I have my particular favs. Something about starting your day with Longsilog is my kind of happiness. Upon entering it was a bit odd. There was a line for both take out and dine in. However the server/host didn't separate the two. So we all just waited. Once it became our turn was ushered to sit at a booth. Menus were given. Opted for the Longsilog, Fried Rice, Extra Longanisa, Calamansi & Mango juice. Now if you look at the picture you will see what 6 extra Longanisa looked like. I was highly confused. Now you may be wondering why did you ask for 6. Well I asked for extra Longanisa in the fried rice to substitute the no shrimp. The picture speaks for itself. Interior is quite large. There are several table and booth arrangements. This restaurant can easily accommodate large parties. Music was playing in the background. Would recommend- pricing was typical for this side of town. I'm honestly very disappointed with D'Pinoy Joint. Whenever we have holidays or special occasions, me and my mom used to order their pancit bihon. We ordered a 1/2 tray of panic bihon to celebrate New Years. We ALWAYS paid around $30. However, this time, they decided to charge us double the price. We paid $60 for just a 1/2 tray. We didn't notice the price until we got home. We tried calling the restaurant several times but no answer. When we went to pick up the pancit, I also noticed they did not answer the phone even though they were right next to the phone and can hear it ring. One of the employees was also rude to us as well. We forgot which name we made the order in (since preparing for a party can be hectic), and she told us to "figure out the name" in a not so helpful, friendly way. We called back the restaurant and to no avail, we NEVER received the money back or an explanation of when or why they doubled the price. They never told us that the price increased when we called to order either. The way they spoke to us on the phone was also not very helpful or friendly. I attached proof of the receipt and the 1/2 tray of the panic bihon. I really am disheartened that this happened because I used to come here a lot with my family. Talk about a hidden gem! I've passed by this place (near Flamingo at Rainbow) thousands of times and never even noticed it. Easy parking, right next to the Roberto's Taco spot. Inside easily felt like a local's Denny kind of spot. The menu was huge and surely there's all sorts of dishes I've never had before so my friend helped me out. We stuck to the lunch menu which, for $11.99 you choose two items (Beef Kaldereta, Chicken Adobo, Dinuguan, Lechon Kawali, Menudo, Pork or Chicken BBQ Skewer, Bistek, Pork Adobo, Lichen Paksiw, fried Daing Bangus, Kare Kare) and comes with rice. Friend had the Chicken skewer with Kare Kare (peanut sauce stew), and I went with the Pork Adobo with Lichen Kawali (crispy deep fried pork belly), and certainly we didn't leave anything to waste; so good! The lunch plate was delicious and plenty filling, but we went for more. We ordered the Lumping Shanghai appetizer ($8.99 pork & pea fried egg rolls) and Miki-Bihon noodles ($13.99 stir-fry egg & rice noodles with shrimp and chicken). Both we so good and with good portions that we ended up boxing up and devouring later. Me and my family had lunch here this week and I really liked it! The food is great. Only gave it four stars because the back hallway and bathroom area needs attention and cleaning. The menu is fairly extensive. My family and I ordered from the lunch menu and the 'all day silog' menu. The lunch menu consisted of two ulam and rice for $11.99 - not bad! I ordered tocilog-- Tocino, egg, and garlic rice and an iced coffee. It was DELISH. The place is old definitely need some fresh touch. But the food is great we ordered pork sisig, salmon belly sinigang and chicharong bulaklak, there were all delicious, highly recommend the sinigang na salmon belly. Service is great too our server was an old guy felt like I was taking to my uncle or tatay, please give this place a love and come visit. read more
