This is a review for Oming's Kitchen in general, not a specific location. Every time we come to Vegas, we ALWAYS get Oming's. The pork belly is the perfect balance of meat & fat. I finally had a chance to go to Oming's Kitchen and it did not disappoint! This location is in the East Side, Sunrise Manor area in Las Vegas. Oming's Kitchen is a Filipino restaurant. There are two different locations in Las Vegas. My husband and I ended up stopping by this restaurant after going to the Age of Chivalry Renaissance festival. When we stopped by on a Friday afternoon, we were the only customers inside the restaurant. There was plenty of seating available! Looking over the menu, some of their options include the following Sinugba Pork Belly Sinugba Chicken Adobo Beef Sisig All day breakfast items (Tocino, Sausage) You can order these in combos as bowls or additional combos with pancit. Both my husband and I ordered the half n half combo with rice/pancit, 6 pieces of lumpia. He had ordered the Sinugba Pork Belly and I ordered the Adobo Beef. I normally see chicken or pork adobo, but I rarely see beef adobo! I had to try it out! While waiting, I filled up my fountain drink with Sprite. The meal was cooked fresh and was ready in about 15 minutes. The team member brought out the order from the kitchen. The beef adobo was thinly sliced. Green onions were put on top of the beef. The rice was underneath and was flavored like the beef adobo. The beef was scrumptious! The pancit was a seafood flavor pancit. It was good. The lumpia was deep fried perfectly. A side of sweet orange sauce was provided with the Lumpia. My husband enjoyed the Sinugba Pork Belly. The team members here are amazing and the service is fantastic! The food was great! I'm not in this area too often since it's far away from where I live, but if I am in the area again, I'll make sure to stop by Oming's Kitchen! read more

Customer service needs improvement here. I ordered from DoorDash. When I went to pick up my food, she calls my name and then says UNHAPPILY- "Next time call to order". ????? What?? Next time DO NOT OPEN YOUR Restaurant in DoorDash! This was like so rude when you obviously have door dash opened for orders. If you wanted people to call to order, then make that clear on Yelp and door dash. I honestly dislike the poor customer service here. No hello or greeting. I ordered a breakfast plate which came with garlic rice, longanisa, and eggs. They were able to make scrambled eggs. The garlic rice was realllllly good. There were small fried crunchy bits of garlic. The rice was more on the drier side, which is how I prefer my rice. This was the perfect place to have a hearty breakfast. Sadly you cannot add pancit and lumpia and make it a combo like you can the bowls. So I ordered a side of lumpia. The lumpia was good, I felt like it could have been crispier (personal preference. The food did take a bit long to come out. There seemed to be a lot of mobile orders than people eating inside the restaurant. Inside is well maintained and clean. The tables on accommodate parties of about 4. If you come with a bigger group you may need to move tables or sit separately. read more

Followed my tiktok fyp, and it did not disappoint! Came in half an hour before closing, because we didn't realize they were closing early. The guy behind the counter was so nice and sweet, going over the menu with us and explaining everything. Went above and beyond in customer service. Heard we were staying at a hotel and gave up extra napkins, utensils and plates. We ended up getting the pork belly, some garlic fried rice and some lumpia. It was all so delicious. I have always wanted to try authentic Filipino food and not any of the fusion places. I researched the area, and Oming's seemed promising. As someone who's not very familiar with the cuisine, I found what we ordered to be a bit disappointing. We ordered a sisig bowl and a sinugba chicken bowl, which we made happy so that we could try a bit of everything. Sisig was one of the items that I've always wanted to try because people always rave about the flavor bomb and crispy texture of the pork belly. The flavor was okay, but it wasn't crispy at all. It was also very oily and got boring after a while, but the lemon did help a bit. The sinugba chicken was too dry and salty for my liking. The pork belly may have been a better choice. The pancit left little to write home about as it wasn't very flavorful - it just tasted like rice noodles with veggies. I actually liked the lumpia as it was very fresh and crispy but my boyfriend thought it was just okay. Lastly, we ordered the halo-halo, which was probably the highlight of the meal. It was the perfect thing to end off our not-so-satisfying meal. I loved all the textures in the cup, from jellies to beans, palm seeds, evaporated milk, and the creamy ube ice cream on top. What's not to love? Overall, the items were a hit or a miss for my boyfriend and me. We felt like there are many other similar cuisines that taste better. But this could be because we're not familiar with Filipino food, or that we just didn't like what we ordered. The restaurant was clean, and the service was fine. Okay, so I tried this spot this week and I have gone to the one on Blue Diamond but now I'm on this side. I tried the pork belly combo which includes lumpia Shanghai. I would've loved if it they had this and rice and I'd be fine, but I decided to get the combo so I can get lumpia and try another item with it. I didn't like the pork belly so much after a few bites tbh.. it was too sweet with the sauce but Filipinos love their food sweet and I can't. I asked what Sinugba meant and the lady told me it meant eel, but as I looked it up it means 'grilled'. It was perhaps the eel sauce she was referring to that was on it and it was a little too saucy for me. I would try other food here like the adobo bowl or something else with lumpia on the side for a combo meal! read more

I was searching for something different around my neighborhood and soo happy to find this place! The place a nice simple and staff was attentive. Surprised to see it empty but as I sat an enjoyed my meal a rush of pick up orders came in. Was going to be my first option but glad I stayed to enjoy it fresh. I ordered the Sinugba Pork Belly ( which I could out means grilled/roasted) and it was nicely grilled with a great sauce. I made it a "Happy" it adds more lumpia and pan it. I saw an Instagram post about this place and wanted to try because it looked really good and the reviews were positive. I went to the one on Sahara. The food here I think is VERY good, I usually just order the same thing that I first started with which is the beef bowl they offer but no matter how many times I get it it always still hits the same, delicious, and maybe even addictive. The service and staff here I think are also very nice, the lady at the front is always nice and willing to talk and I think she is just a great lady. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the gentleman at the counter but he had incredible customer service. He asked if we'd been there before and was helpful with recommendations. We ended up ordering Sinugba Pork Belly bowl with white rice, Sinugba Chicken bowl with Pancit, an order of the lumpia and a separate order of the pancit. Food was excellent ! Lumpia's were fresh and hot, meats were savory, and the pancit was good! Honorable mention would be the spicy vinegar sauce that really made the flavor pop, such a nice dipping sauce. A very nice touch was the gentleman I mentioned earlier brought out a few samples of food for us to try - we tried a bit of Sisig, longanisa, and tocino. Wow, what a freaking gem! Stumbled upon this since I was in the area and it did not disappoint. It's almost like a fast food style where you order then seat yourself. I love the concept and love the spirit, but, the dishes was missing the hook to bring me back again. I've had many sisig dishes in my limited life here on earth and I can tell you there is only one restaurant that makes the best: my wife's kitchen!!! But, I'm always willing to give others a try to impress me. I was hoping that Oming's would do it. It was missing the right balance of Lechon meat, onions and calamansi. There was too much soy(?) that soaked down into the rice. However, the finger lumpia and pancit with the Happy upgrade were great. I would come back for that. The restaurant was super clean and neat. It's a small and simple restaurant that has food truck beginnings (Nellis location). The owner welcomed us and took our orders at the counter. You can order a rice bowl with pork belly, beef adobo, sisig, or chicken. You can choose to make it "happy" to include pansit noodles and lumpia. Yelp Review 2023 #137: I first tried Oming's at their food truck at UNLV and after that I'd hire Salome (Oming) to cater our work events years ago since a good percentage of our company is Filipino. She's a pleasure doing business with and I've always loved her bowls. She opened her first brick-and-mortar restaurant in Blue Diamond. And now, a second location in North Las Vegas. Oming's bowls are delicious and filling. You can get chicken or pork belly and it comes with rice and lumpia. Over the years, her food has been consistently delicious and portions have been the same. She added more menu items from her food truck days. Oming's has lechon, sisig, tapsilog, losilog, tosilog, Pancit, crispy pata, halo-halo, boba, etc. And the service? Typical Filipino: always happy, smiling, and friendly especially if they know you're Filipino and would reciprocate the vibe. Don't worry, non-Filipinos! They'll still be nice and friendly but they won't be extra if they see you're more serious. Pork Belly Bowl: Filipino BBQ'ed pork belly (marinated in ketchup, soy sauce, sugar, an acid) served with white rice, and lumpia and sauce. I normally have to eat this as a meal and a half because it's a big portion. Delicious and filling. 5/5 Lechon: Sold by the pound on WEEKENDS only. Crispy skin, juicy and flavorful meat. It comes with dipping sauce. If you start getting dizzy from the cholesterol, you can reheat this in the air fryer. 5/5 Tapsilog: Part of their all-day breakfast menu. You get beef tapa (TAP), siningag aka garlic rice (SI), and itlog (LOG) which is egg in Filipino. Garlicky and flavorful beef pieces that you can dip in vinegar to eat with a piece of egg and a spoonful of rice. 5/5 Sisig: So, the real version of sisig uses the pig's face, ears and snout - and if you're reading this and got turned off, it's better that you find out now than ordering this and regretting life like the first time I had real sisig back in the summer of 2000 when I was in the Philippines. The version I like uses finely chopped fried pork belly. They both have the sand flavors but the texture is different. I'll skip rating this. You can also get chicken instead of the pork belly for your rice bowl. Their bowls can either be with rice and lumpia or half rice, half Pancit and lumpia. Get the latter if you want a little bit of everything. Yay! There's a place on the East Side of Vegas that serves Filipino food! I was craving Sisig and was excited to see they just opened up on my side of town. The place was super clean. They had music playing and it was a great playlist btw, like every song I love to sing at karaoke We were greeted right away and the girl was so nice.
