Quick eats with good flavor. So I do not usually review food trucks, but Hungry Monster was happy with this one today. Located at Tivoli for the LV Night Market, or LV Craft show, this was Monsters only reason for the stop. Plenty of parking in the underground garage with lots of cool crafts to look at and food to try. Not sure as to how often this happens, but that is another review in itself. Kanto is a Filipino cuisine with specialty coffee. Today we came for the food. What ordered - pork sisig - with egg - garlic shrimp Mind you, monster and I were suppose to take a break from pork, but how else do you have sisig? The flavour was great. Surprised us because we're used to a more sour taste due to lots of calamancy or lime, but this was just on point with not too overwhelming of all the fats and oils. The shrimp was not too shabby. I have allergies to fried shellfish, but this was not bad on me. The rice, according to Monster was buttery. We all know when she's happy, I'm in a good place lol. Try them. Support our local Pinoys. Have some great food. Find out where they are at on Instagram @kanto.lv. Salamat Kanto. Hope to see you again.

FTR! Shocked no one started a Yelp review yet... Craving sisig?! Look no further. What a hidden gem! Kanto serves up some of the most flavorful Filipino food in Vegas, and the best part--it all comes out of a food truck. I'm a very picky eater, but when my partner in crime told me I had to try this spot, I gave in. One bite, and I was instantly hooked--I could not put it down. I first discovered them through Instagram, where they post their weekly locations (often at different hospitals). Smart move, because Filipino nurses, hospital staff, and the Vegas community show up strong for this food. The sisig is hands-down amazing, but their menu has so much more: coffee, sisig tacos, pork belly adobo, lumpia, sisig fries, garlic shrimp, shrimp katsu, and more. Everything I've tried has been on point, and I honestly can't wait to go back and explore the rest of the menu. Vegas has plenty of food trucks, but Kanto is one that truly stands out. If you know, you know. If you don't--go find them now!

I tried the Ube latte from the food truck and it did not disappoint. I'd heard about their coffee and glad I was able to try it. I was expecting the latte to have the Ube cold foam as that's how it was advertised but it didn't come with it. The staff were friendly. They definitely were consistent with the flow so was a little wait time.

Im so glad I got to finally try this! I see them on tiktok and Ive finally tried their sisig and it was so good! The perfect sisig to rice ratio, perfect crunch and tanginess. Pair it with the honey calamansi juice and youre stuffed.

Ran across their food truck while at a convention... AMAZING! I ordered the pork sisig and lumpia. I loved how the lumpia was more skinny and long, made eating them easier while working the convention. Would highly recommend!!

Pork belly adobo...garlic shrimp...chicken sisig ohhh yummy to the tummy!!!! superb!!

Bacon makes everything better, so how could I resist the chance to try a food truck devoted to it?…read more Blondie's Bacon Creations was one of many local food trucks that came to Sunset Park'd in 2016. You can't miss the blue truck with pictures of bacon (and a blonde), even though these guys were somewhat tucked away in a corner near the stage. The menu is mostly different variants of french fries and sandwiches, but I saw the Bacon Tater Balls ($6), a creation that they boast took 3rd place in the "Extreme Bacon Bite Challenge" (a quick Google search shows that it was held November 2015 last year and included restaurant chefs). This tray had 3 fluffy potato balls with bacon, green onion, and cheese that were deep fried in Panko breading and topped with a lemon sour cream. Although it's not the most exciting potato ball that I've had from a food truck, it was a contrast of textures and had enough bacon flavor. Blondie's Bacon Creations seems to be a solid food truck so far. I'll definitely check out some of their loaded french fries next time.

Looking for some naughty bacon treats? This is your place!…read more I tried Blondie's when they were outside of Bad Beat Brewery. I really like Bad Beat, but I was mostly there for the bacon. First, the couple that runs the truck is really nice. They are very welcoming. I ended up at the truck three different times and they were friendly each time. I even asked if there was any way that I could get a couple of items to go for my husband since he was stuck at work and missing out. They didn't skip a beat and wrapped up a couple of items for me to take home. I was even given instructions on properly warming the food if necessary. I had a sandwich that was melted cheese, bacon, egg, and jalapenos on sourdough. It was awesome. That combination was a winner. My coworker and I shared the Dumpster Fries which were my favorite item. It was fries, cheese, bacon, jalapenos, ranch dressing, and an over easy egg. The instructions were to crack the egg in the middle to let it make a gravy on the fries. You can't go wrong with this plan. We gobbled this up. I definitely brought an order of these back to my husband. For dessert I grabbed a couple of the chocolate chip pecan cookies from My Big Fat Cookie. The cookies were huge and one would have been enough for two people. The cookies were okay, but not overly flavorful. Maybe Blondie's should have a maple bacon dish for dessert?? Bacon for the win!
