Of course, I must have my premium halo halo every time I visit! For some strange reason the halo halo looks better. I did notice that a couple of the fixing items are not included this time.

    Lumpia, inside
    Michael V.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It is in a food court (Grand Canal Shoppes in The Venetian) with shared seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was worth the visit for a quick bite. We ordered the chicken adobo and wagyu lumpia. The adobo was enjoyable; the chicken was moist and it had really good flavor on the surface. It did not seem to have been marinated long, which makes sense given the convenience and location. The lumpia seemed freshly fried and was very flavorful given the simplicity.

I was so excited to find there was Filipino food offered here. I needed something to give me life and sadly I was let down. I ordered chicken adobo and traditional halo halo. My chicken was dry and no adobo juice at all it was like it was just sitting under the light and microwaved. I let that go and thought my halo halo will save me. From the side and looks it was supposed to. After the first bite I noticed a sour taste, I couldn't pinpoint what it was. I couldn't even do it. I figured maybe the taho but then when I had some red bean it was there too. The taste was getting worse and worse not matter how much I tried to ignore and say it was something else. I ended up trashing this $30 They get a star for service and a star of halo halo, it was full of toppings and nice and big but If the toppings weren't spoiled it would have gotten 4 just for halo halo

Forgot to take a picture - so good

Ok, it's a little unassuming spot in the Venetian food court. Stopped by to grab the chicken lumpia not once but twice. It was so good I had to get another order the very next day. I didn't try anything else because when in Vegas we have our meals planned and reservations made, BUT if it wasn't for that, I would have tried more. Cure spot, pretty extensive menu for its size, great service and reasonably priced. I couldn't ask for anything more beside more time in Vegas to try some of the other dishes.

A Filipino cafe at The Venetian?? Sweeeet!! This Vegas heat hasn't let up, mang! After watching a comedy show at the Venetian Theater, we walked around the resort to look for a non-alcoholic treat!! Haha! I thought I was deliriously dehydrated, because I couldn't really see clearly. But, as I got closer I could see large images of Halo Halo and Lechon Belly. Halaaaa!! I'm excited about this!! One Halo-halo, please!! Halo halo means "mix mix" so you have to slush it all up, even with the ice cream so the mixture turns purple! This Halo halo was made with snow ice, a variety of sweet jellies, beans, flan, coconut, jackfruit, sweet plantain, and topped off with Ube flavored ice cream. We sat in the food court dining room and thoroughly enjoyed this cold, sweet treat. It was the perfect summer dessert in Las Vegas!! Service was your average hello, how are you kinda deal. The cafe itself is small, so it was just one person who took our order at the counter and handled the register. I'm just happy that a Filipino business is here on the strip!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Was a Filipino spot in the food court of venetian hotel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No lines and workers were friendly and attentive as we asked a few questions about the dishes. We ordered the lumpia, one empenada, pork adobe , sising and tocino breakfast. They all came with rice. The flavor was there but felt like the portions were pretty small especially the sising and the price was kinda high. That's basically the only bad thing about it was the portions. The lumpia was pretty small as well. Also, did take a little long to get our food.

Worth the walk from my suite
    Arnel D.

Open late which was ideal for me. They are less than a five minute walk from the suite elevators which is very convenient. Their food is served quickly and with a smile. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a clean dining area which is shared with other establishments.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I enjoyed their halo-halo which was 5 out of 5 for sure. Their sisig was not what I was expecting... It was made fresh with an egg. Though it was filling since I was hungry, it was a bit salty. Would I stop by here again? Absolutely, but probably only for their halo-halo.

    Regular Size Halo Halo

We were sadly too full to get their lunch/breakfast items but we were able to get their regular Halo Halo to try. Halo halo: 7/10 it was massive and pretty fair for the price $12. We shared it between two people and still couldn't finish it. It's very refreshing and helps with the Vegas heat! The service is good and fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is casual since it's in a food court.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Halo Halo Supreme
    Grace L.

After having a meal at Johnny Rockets, we were craving something sweet and spotted halo-halo on the menu nearby. The ube ice cream immediately caught my attention, so we decided to try the supreme version to share among the three of us. Wow--the portion was huge! Definitely a good idea to share. None of us had tried halo-halo before, and we were really glad we gave it a shot. It's a traditional Filipino dessert, and while we didn't recognize all the ingredients (there were lots of interesting beans and jellies), it somehow all worked together perfectly--especially with the ube ice cream on top. It was colorful, fun to eat, and surprisingly refreshing. If you find yourself at The Venetian and craving dessert, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try. You might be pleasantly surprised too!

Food: 3/5 Service: 4/5 [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance: 3/5[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Good quick eats if you're looking for something convenient and quick besides Panda Express and off the strip. It's located in the food court of the grand canal shops/ the Venetian hotel. The food was good but nothing impressive, tocino was solid but too much rice and not enough meat. The crispy pork was a little too salty for my taste and was more fat than meat which made it a tough eat for me. Overall would consider it authentic Filipino food to some extent but nothing standout for me.

    Halo halo time
    Justin C.

While at the Venetian hotel we found ourselves in the food court and we were in the mood for some dessert. Look no further than Halo Halo Filipino kitchen. We ordered a traditional Halo Halo which comes with a medley of candied coconut, jackfruit, coconut jelly, flan on a bed of snow ice and topped with tropical ice cream 4/5. Pleasant service and they give 10% military/veteran discount.

Craving Filipino food in the middle of Vegas? This may be the spot for your quick fix. Fast and easy walk up service, they have a decent menu. Recommend: of course the halo halo? Shaved ice goodness with condense milk and yummy surprises.

    Chicken adobo
    Crystle C.

The service was fast and the food was decent for a fast food Filipino option. It's located in the food court at the Venetian. I ordered the chicken adobo and been lumpia. The chicken was a pretty big portion and it was good, but it did not taste like it was cooked in the sabaw (sauce). The lumpia was delicious. I would definitely go back again when I'm in the area.

The matcha parfait was good with a nice creamy texture and flavoring. However, I have one complaint. When coming with two others where we are lactose sensitive and with one having an allergy to oats, they wanted to try the matcha latte's and we asked if they can make with almond milk . The female worker said they don't have almond milk and only do oat or whole milk which was odd, and I asked again to confirm and was told no. They ended up having to do whole milk despite being lactose intolerant and was bothered. I look through here from comments by the owner saying that they CAN substitute with almond milk, which is confusing and a little annoying that we were told they don't substitute almond milk and was never told a reason why. That's one complaint for those who might be allergic to oat milk or are lactose sensitive: There is barely any option to accommodate and for that I give three stars. I probably would not come back again nor recommend because of the lack of accommodation for those who cannot have oat/almond milk. However despite that it is good to try once.

Restrooms were really clean and had the same style decor too, so I appreciated that attention to detail. However, I docked 2 stars since I couldn't order anything. I arrived at 939pm, looked at the menu and decided on a slice of the Ube Crepe cake and one of the Apple Cinnamon macarons. They don't close until 10pm and people were still coming in, and there were still plenty of people sitting in the restaurant, but the staff didn't let me order anything at 945pm saying that she doesn't take any more orders after 930pm. What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

My family and I have supported Suzuya since the very beginning, when the first location opened on Durango. We've watched the business grow over the years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, today's visit was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I ordered a breakfast crepe, a curry cheese sandwich, a mango mochi, and a whole cake. The breakfast items were served without any fork or knife. When I asked for utensils, there was no effort to provide them. The mango mochi was also served without utensils. When I politely asked the staff member wearing the mask for a fork, she simply replied, "You don't need utensils." That response honestly surprised me. Mango mochi is sticky and messy to eat by hand. It wasn't about the fork itself--it was the complete lack of willingness to provide even the most basic customer service. The bigger issue was when I purchased a birthday cake for a friend. I was told there were no bags available for a 6-inch cake. However, I saw other customers receiving bags. I even asked, "If I buy two more cakes, making it three cakes total, would you be able to give me a bag? I only have two hands." The answer was still no. That response simply made no sense. What made the experience even more upsetting was how I was treated because I had my service dog with me. My dog is a professionally trained service dog--not a pet. He remained calm throughout the entire visit. He never barked, never approached anyone, never disturbed other customers, and simply laid quietly beside me. Despite that, I was questioned about whether he was a service dog, whether he had a service vest, and then told that because I had my service dog with me, we would have to sit outside. I found this extremely disappointing. My dog was behaving exactly as a trained service dog should, yet I was still directed outside solely because he was with me. I sincerely hope the staff receive proper training on how to respectfully interact with customers who rely on service animals. Every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. After being directed outside because of my service dog and then repeatedly being refused basic accommodations that should have been simple to provide, it became difficult not to question whether my service dog influenced the way I was treated. I truly hope that wasn't the case, but it certainly felt that way. This isn't just my opinion anymore. Many friends have shared the same experience with me over the years: the cakes are excellent, but the customer service is consistently disappointing. People return because the desserts are amazing--not because of the hospitality. Sadly, it often feels like there's no warmth or genuine care for customers. I've always heard wonderful things about Mike, and from what I've seen, he seems like a genuinely kind person. I can't help but wonder how he would feel if he knew loyal customers were leaving with experiences like this. I'm usually not someone who complains or leaves negative reviews. It takes a lot for me to write something like this. But after years of supporting this business, I believe this experience needed to be shared. Suzuya truly makes fantastic desserts, and that's exactly why this review is so disappointing for me to write. Great products should never be an excuse for poor customer service. Loyal customers deserve to feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated--not dismissed.
