Visited on a very quiet Sunday afternoon and literally had to wait 5 minutes just to be seated because everyone who worked here seemed to be absent from scene. From there on everything was super painful. We asked to move to a booth (all of which but 2 were empty) and waited 15 minutes before they finally cleaned one for us (again, store wasn't busy). On top of that they even serve limited foods such as poutines, hot dogs and pizzas. I decided to order the Violet Lemonade and a Vanilla Milkshake along with the tres leches Lotus Milk Cake. The Violet Lemonade was the perfect combination between lemonade and violet tea. The blend was great and every sip I took made me want it more. It definitely quenches your thirst. The vanilla milkshake is a classic and D Spot did not disappoint, not too much sugar and just the right amount of ice cream. Finally the tres leches Lotus Milk cake, we've all probably heard of Lotus by now as they are famously made in cheesecakes however tres leches Lotus cake I had not seen before. Usually, this restaurant is crowded at night, especially on weekends. I came here to celebrate with my family and family friends. Since we were a large company, we had a problem with the seating arrangement, but the staff was able to move us to another table, which we very appreciated. Their stuff is way too sweet. My friend bought the Cinnamon one with the cream cheese frosting (one scoop sundae) and the cream cheese frosting was like diabetically sweet.
