Clean and extensive menu. Service was a bit slow but they were packed. Definitely a popular location on a Friday night. The milk shack was delicious to say the least. I was really satisfied with the proportions

This place is awesome and cutesy. I'd def a good spot for sweets. Went there as a girls date and ordered the nachos as well as the crepe are brownie ? I think that's the name at least. The nachos were massive and filling for sure but the quality was meh, the dessert in the other hand, my of my sooo delicious and hits that perfect sweet spot . Honestly it was great, def a new addiction there for sweets. Highly recommend

This place probably deserves more stars but the service was atrocious. Visited on a very quiet Sunday afternoon and literally had to wait 5 minutes just to be seated because everyone who worked here seemed to be absent from scene. From there on everything was super painful. We asked to move to a booth (all of which but 2 were empty) and waited 15 minutes before they finally cleaned one for us (again, store wasn't busy). Then we waited another 20 minutes before they took our orders, paid an exorbitant amount for the waffle dessert, and then of course got kicked out once there was a lineup at the door. I honestly would not recommend this location because it doesn't seem the staff here care at all about your experience. Would avoid.

I love dessert, so I was pretty excited to try one of the more famous dessert places in town. The restaurant is called "D Spot Dessert Cafe" and it's located in heartland, Mississauga. The restaurant has a great ambiance and modern look to it with paintings on all walls. It gives a good vibe and has beautiful lighting throughout the restaurant. The menu had a wide selection of ice cream, milkshakes, cakes, waffles, pancakes, any sort of dessert you can think of they probably have it. On top of that they even serve limited foods such as poutines, hot dogs and pizzas. I decided to order the Violet Lemonade and a Vanilla Milkshake along with the tres leches Lotus Milk Cake. The Violet Lemonade was the perfect combination between lemonade and violet tea. The blend was great and every sip I took made me want it more. It definitely quenches your thirst. The vanilla milkshake is a classic and D Spot did not disappoint, not too much sugar and just the right amount of ice cream. Finally the tres leches Lotus Milk cake, we've all probably heard of Lotus by now as they are famously made in cheesecakes however tres leches Lotus cake I had not seen before. It was perfectly molded together with the right amount of milk. It did lack some sugar I felt however overall it was very good. Definitely recommend trying D Spot it will not disappoint!

Usually, this restaurant is crowded at night, especially on weekends. I came here to celebrate with my family and family friends. Since we were a large company, we had a problem with the seating arrangement, but the staff was able to move us to another table, which we very appreciated. The dinner and desserts were delicious, which made our experience positive. After a long day, it was greatly needed! I shall return without a doubt!!

Great spot to hang out with friends or take photos. The place is decorated very colourfully, great for kids as well. Went here on a Sunday evening for some dessert after dinner. They weren't very busy at this time so we were seated right away. The host gave us the menus and told us to seat ourselves which I thought was a bit odd, especially after seeing him seat a family to their table shortly after us. They have a wide range of options to order. From milkshakes, cakes, crepes, waffles, sundaes, and even savoury foods such as pizza and poutine. I ordered the red velvet cheesecake, which came with a side of vanilla ice cream. My partner ordered the Lotus Biscoff crepe. The cheesecake in my order was very creamy and not too sweet. The red velvet layers could've been more moist, but I thought it paired well with the cheesecake. Wasn't a fan of the raspberry sauce in between each layer. Added an extra sweetness and tartness that overpowered the whole cake. My partner enjoyed his crepe and found it was pretty filling for one person. The vanilla ice cream was okay. It was very icy and not as creamy as we would've liked. Service here could be better and the food is decent if you're looking to satisfy your dessert cravings!

. ! What fascinates me about waffles are the pocket that can hold those extra chocolate or maple syrup. What more can a foodie ask for? Every week when I crave a wholesome waffles, I try my best to make it at home. But alas, the efforts always go futile. Finally, my search for the best waffle in sauga ended at @dspotcafe. I kept it simple by making this 'Waffle Done Right' which came loaded with exotic fresh fruits and topped with dark, white and milk chocolate . Every bite, that I took, I could feel the ultimate fusion of crisp waffle, all the fruits and the chocolate trio together. That's the best memory I hold about the Dspot Desserts Cafe. If you had a waffle, what would be your favorite toppings? Would love to see some fancy waffle suggestions 5955 Latimer Dr, Mississauga

Chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream

Customer service and Covid-19 related precautions and measures perfectly followed during takeout. At the entrance there is menu scanner ,once decided we can place the order inside. Tried the macchiato with vanilla flavor which was good but nothing outstanding. The latte was also average. Tried the lava chocolate cake which came with ice cream and I personally enjoyed a darker chocolate flavor but again it's not very different but good dessert. Next time will definitely try other options. Upon taking our order,Customer service mentioned 12mins and the order was exactly available around same time.

Went here for a night out. I definitely recommend their portion sizes. I ordered a Tiramisu cheesecake and it came with a chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. The rate and portion was a 5/5 for the price of $14+. My friend ordered a strawberry cheesecake pancake and I had a bit of a taste. I would rate that pancake as a 3/5 just because it was a little soggy for my liking due to the sauce but the size was very generous. Check this place out if you're in the area for waffles, pancakes, milkshakes, cheesecakes and other things to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Poor customer service 1. Asked to wait outside store. Was told that they will call me when order is ready. Never got a call. Went in inside after 30 mins where there receptionist passed on the blame to someone else in their store. 2. Oh and found hair in their ice cream. Very visible, even outside taking the lid off.

First time to this location of Dspot. Way closer to my house so will definitely look forward to it after covid ends. Crepe was decent but could use more fruit.

Cakes are pretty solid, though expensive, but its a good cafe for casually meeting friends without having to go to a full restaurant. I don't think I'd buy a full cake here, because the cakes aren't bakery/patisserie level good, but a slice here and there is ok. Their app is great as they have regular offers, and the pickup process is smooth. It'd be nice to see them change up the cake flavours now and then or to try something more unique. The existing lineup is not bad, but still plays it pretty safe / are classic flavours. As for the cakes themselves, blueberry chiffon is my favourite because I enjoy a more typical blueberry flavour, then the blueberry yogurt, and the red velvet. Most cakes are light, not too sweet (exception is the red velvet as its cream cheese), but all were fresh and a good portion size too.

I watched them pour a sugar matcha powder into the cup and the chai latte yet again from a sugar powder mix. I was really hoping the drinks were hand crafted for the price point :(

Decent, but these sweets are not for me…read more I enjoy sweet and even the occasional Timbit, but I found these puffs drenched in oil and super sweet. Overall just very wet and aggressively sugary. In an age where people are trying to eat healthier, I cant really imagine myself coming back for this when I could have a larger portion of more refined sweets elsewhere. Likely a better fit for people with a major sweet tooth or for kids. It's similar to a treat you'd eat at a food truck in a festival or outdoor event. I feel as if I ate an entire week's worth of sugar in one go. The shop itself is pretty modern, spacious, and clean. Sparse seating, lots of mirrors, etc. But the location is great, and there's lots of plaza parking. Staff were ok but very busy with orders. The rest of the menu seems good. Lots of variety of other sweet drinks and pastries, but also items to balance out the sugar like coffee, tea, savoury pastries, etc. Kind of like a crossover between Tim's and Starbucks. I am hesitant to try other items though because of how sweet the puffs were. The pricing is also really steep for the kind of food it is. Personally speaking, Id rather hit Krispy Kreme because those donuts while sugary, don't feel as greasy / heavy as these puffs. For comparison these puffs are around $1/pc and an original donut at Krispy Kreme is around $1.50 An additional minus is the online/app ordering process. I ordered on the app, arrived, and didn't notice any instruction for pickup ( no signage , markers, etc). I waited 10 mins because it was pretty busy, staff were working nonstop, and I had just ordered less than 5 mins ago. I had to ask the staff about my order, and it turned out it was ready all along sitting in a cabinet with frosted glass doors, so I couldn't even tell they had any orders waiting. The app also didnt have a progress bar, just an estimated finish time at time of order. Less than seamless, for sure

Speculoos was so good!! Very rich, decadent, and sweet. The Reese's & Chocolate was a good try but the peanut butter was too thick for my liking. I prefer the lighter drizzle options.

After dinner, I decided to drop by this Starbucks that was next door to see if I could pick up a treat. Looks are deceiving. This cafe looks small when you stand in front of it. However, when you open the door, there's a huge seating area on the left. It's a large cafe. Maybe it's because it doesn't have a drive-thru. There were lots of folks seated, sipping on a beverage, munching on baked goods, and chatting. It looked like a cool place to chill. It felt relaxed. I stood in line behind a couple of customers. It allowed me to figure out what I wanted. I looked at the lemon loaf slice in the display case. I hadn't had one in ages. Okay, I'll get it. Well, all that changed when I spotted the snowman cookies. I have had one so far this winter. It was the one with red earmuffs and a scarf. I spotted a blue version. I wanted it instead. I got the friendliest, cheerful woman when I got to the order area. I grabbed the snowman with the blue earmuffs and scarf. I let her know that I was here for the snowman cookie and that I'm late to the party. She smiled. She let me know that the Valentine's Day heart-shaped sugar cookies were out, too. Oh, no! She said that I should go with the snowman cookie since I had my heart set on it. I agreed. More choices weren't good here. I got my Starbucks card scanned off my phone. Done! She handed me my cookie. I thanked her and happily left with my treat. I had it today. It was buttery, sugary, and yummy. I don't visit Starbucks as much as I used to. I'm so glad that the snowman cookie still exists. I have had it for years and the yearly tradition to devour at least one continues. I had a great experience. I'll definitely return when I'm in the area. (15)
