I used to take my pet in this place but they cut her ears twice. The first time they cut her ear they didn't say anything but my dog got sick had to take her to the vet. Tucked away in a small shopping center is this secret gem! Took my baby Nova (GoldenDoodle) for a well overdue grooming. She hasn't been groomed properly since October so she was matted and over grown. She was so happy when we picked her up and so am I. D'Tails did an AMAZING job and were so personable and kind. Garbage. They trimmed the shih tzu's penis too closely and tried to hide it by putting a diaper on it. Dog was depressed due to the irritation, and kept licking at it. At least be transparent and say you did a botched job, rather than hide it. read more

Well the pics say it all. I picked up my dog today to find that her beautiful coat had been completely butchered. She was matted on her belly, so I ok'd a belly shave if needed. I would have never took her there if I knew they would do this to her. She looks like a a toddler took scissors to her. This is FAR from a $100 grooming . I'm heartbroken for her and am seriously concerned that her husky coat we'll not grow back the same. read more

My first time using this service and everything went smooth upon drop off (on a Thursday omw to work). I get down the street and was called and told they were going to charge me extra for tangles/matting (he's a poddle mix) which wasn't a big deal but I asked for a rounded face... wasn't done! They scalped my fur baby and left a large gash on his neck that they then covered w a bandana! None of the things I asked for was done. I was told that my pet had been traumatized by PetSmart or Petco (where he's been going since he was 3 months old) again not true! My baby wouldn't eat or drink for 36 hours after I picked him up... they traumatized him!!! read more

I used this groomer for years, recently this business was sold to a new owner. I took my poodle there for the second time under the new ownership and did not have a good experience. They told me that my dog would not let the lady groom him. He would cry, yelp and jump up. They were scared to cut his face. Apparently she worked on him for 2 1/2 hours. They told me to go home to comb him out and take him back up there and they would fix it. If they can't comb him how are they going to cut him? When I saw how butchered my dog was I asked for a refund. The owner told me that wouldnt be fair since the girl worked for so long on him. It sounds like to me the girl working on him didn't know what she was doing. This is what $65 looks like. UPDATE: I was able to find someone else to groom my fur baby and to my surprise I found that the "claim" of my dog being "bad" was not the issue (sarcastic). My dog allowed the other groomer to finish the job with no problems. I called the owner of D-Tails and explained that and asked for a refund yet again, even half will work. She agreed to give me half. I was about to pull into the shop to get my check and she called saying she would give me a full refund because she didn't know I was a former customer. All of our communications were successful and I thought all was good then I look at the check. My dog was NOT the issue. Needless to say I'm searching for a new groomer. read more

This place used to be K9 & Feline Pet Grooming. We have used them for atleast 7 years. Our dog Bama (Collie)has gone there for 4 years. Absolutely love them!! Bama is a hand full and Karisa always made him look so handsome. Then BAM, Covid-19 hit and we couldn't take him in. I got a call from a 903 number and they said they were the groomers and that Bama was scheduled for April 17th. I was so excited because he was in a desperate need of a grooming. I let the lady (I believe the owner) know that we had just taken Bama to the Vet for a check up and I had them trim his nails. I let her know he bit the tech and Told her she might want to muzzle Bama. My husband picked up Bama later that day and asked the girl who brought the dog to the truck, if they are the new owners and that we didn't know anything about the change of ownership, paid the $100 + for the grooming and left.. Bama looked ok but you could tell they didn't trim much but he was a lot better than before he went in. I called today to schedule an appt and when I let the girl know who I was, she had the owner get on the phone and she proceeded to tell me my dog was aggressive and that he continued to try and bite her and that he lunged for her face. I told her she should have muzzle him like I said. Then she says my husband was very angry when he picked up Bama because of the new ownership and that THEY were surprised and taken back at how angry & upset his was. He was outside when he picked Bama up and never talked to the owner, just the young girl who brought Bama out and all he asked about was, did Karisa sell them the business. I told my husband what LeAnn (owner) said and he was like WTH. He called up there and talked to LeAnn and he told her he had a problem with her making an accusation about how he was and she said she would not be talked over and hung up. I don't understand that if my dog was aggressive, why didn't she call me or tell my husband when Bama was picked up. I will NEVER go back to this place. I miss Karisa and her group of gals!!! I am so glad I was recommended this place by a family member. I called to get an appointment for my dog, and was told they were booked for the next two weeks, but can put me on a cancellation list. 5 minutes after hanging up they called letting me know they could squeeze me in the same day! My dog absolutely enjoyed it and looked so happy while he was there. Which other places I have gone, my little guy leaves shaking and scared. This was not the case here. Unfortunately, after using this groomer for 2 years, I will be moving on from one very bad experience. My goldendoodle has had many wonderful haircuts from this place, but we recently got a golden retriever puppy in January and took him for his first groom. At the time, he was only 6 months old and as ALL puppies do, he nibbled a little upon first greeting the employees. The one employee who took him freaked out and starting yelling at him and me telling me she would be sending us home and refused to groom him. Keep in mind, he did not BITE her, he nibbled as puppies all do. This wasn't even the worst part. She proceeded to tell every other person in the building in front of us to steer clear of us because my 6 MONTH PUPPY is aggressively biting. It was incredibly embarrassing and had me in tears to be treated this way in front of other customers. Another kind employee told me not to worry and they would take him and give me a call if anything went wrong. You'll imagine my lack of shock when they told me he ended up being completely fine and had a great first grooming session for a puppy! You'd think with a business like this, you'd be used to getting puppies for their first groom and wouldn't freak out on people when the puppy doesn't react well at first or is over stimulated, but to treat a long-time loyal customer that way who was already overwhelmed at bringing two dogs in for a groom is completely wrong, and I'm sad to say I'll be moving on and will no longer recommend them to anyone I know! read more

Nicoll lost a customer today!! My dog was scared and urinated 2 times because he was scared to get groomed, and even though I have cronic pain at my over 70 age frame I cleaned one of them as she cleaned the other only to come back to pick up my Benji and hear her talking up a storm about me, my Dog and about how she should charge me extra for his accident never mentioning how apoligetic I was or that I helped cleaned it up. This isn't about her work but more about her character! I referred her to my daughter for her 2 dogs and several other people and I will be making sure they all know how she talks about her customers when she thinks they aren't there, I am happy I overheard what she thinks of me, I will take my dog somewhere else from now on. Might not seem like a big deal but I am in tears about it, call me over sensitive but sitting there listening to her talk about me to other people really hurt. Take it for what it worth.... Oh and she tried to charge me $75 instead of $55 like my last 3 visits, so she cut me a deal at $60. read more

I just luuuuved the previous owners and so did my dog. There was one girl who always groomed my lil girl, now don't know if she's still there. The prices went up drastically, was paying $45, was I think $55. Asked for my receipt to be text to me..twice I asked and never got it. If this is how the business will be ran and prices up, I will have no choice but to find another groomer after being there for at least 6-7 years. My daughter pays $40 for her yorki to be groomed. I was taking my dog here before the new owner and the old owner said that they love my dog he's sweet and lovable. I have also taken him to my vet Groomer who said the same thing. When the new owner took over she didn't return calls during the Covid close down. I took him to another Groomer and she said that he was very sweet and easy to work with. When I finally got in contact with the new owner, I took him in 3 more times and when I got him back I noticed a couple of small nicks in his skin which I had never seen before. I took him there two other times and the last time I took him there I found two very deep nicks on his skin that needed to be looked at by my vet. When I called to complain to the new owner, she told me my dog was aggressive and she had to muzzle him when she was grooming him. My vet groomer said he is not aggressive. I took him to another groomer and they told me he is very sweet and easy to groom. Please don't take your pet to this woman. She is the one being aggressive with your pet. Don't trust her. I found out where she worked before and there were the same complaints. She made me feel like a bad pet owner. If you love your pet, don't trust this person!!!! read more
