I had my alternator decided to take a crap on me while I was on vacation heading for skiing at Camelback Ski Area. I got towed by Muldoon's and the next day J & B did the work on my car to replace my alternator. I picked up my car and drove to my relatives house that night I was leaving to drive home to Long Island and saw my lights dieing out again. I was begging to think I really got screwed on this repair, but I called up J & B and they were so sorry that happened even though the part was bad out of the box. I then left my car there over the week and they fixed the it again and did not charge me anything else for redoing the work or holding my car.

When I asked about having the car taken to a mechanic closer to my home, I was told that the vehicle was unsafe to drive. However, I had just driven it for nearly an hour on the highway after being told it was ready for pickup. This situation is extremely frustrating and raises serious concerns about the quality of the repairs and the communication regarding the vehicle's condition. They offered to deliver the vehicle for my inconvenience. No mention of a fee, then when it was ready wanted to charge me $300 dollars in gas.

I Purchased new tires from them. 2 years ago I went to them for all my oil changes for the tires rotations, and recently I had a flat tire, and they told me it would be 30 bucks. It was a slow leak i asked him since I purchased the tires here. Wouldn't that be free and he told me? No, it's 30 bucks, so I will no longer be going to them for anything. Too bad besides that they were really good. I have never purchased new tires from a place that didn't cover a flat tire. They were my go to place...not anymore!
