It is with a heavy heart that I must submit this review. However, I have spoken with SGI Transport…read moreon several occasions and no course of action has taken place and I have been treated very unfairly with the accident that their business caused. On July 26th, 2025 SGI Transport INC provided a mobile service to change and replace a flat tire on one of my work vehicles. (The end of July until mid-August is our slowest time of the season and the truck was not utilized.) However, August 21st, 2025 when we were back to using the truck the tire and rim COMPLETELY broke off of the truck. My driver was not hurt physically or any other driver thankfully. However, my driver was emotionally scared and quit as a result. After having the truck towed to the Auto Repair Shop, the diagnostic reported that the tire was not properly reinstalled and secured. (This is a heavy 6,000 lb truck). As a result, when my driver was driving the tire was loose and the vibration from the truck and road SNAPPED each stud one by one until the rim and tire flew off into the woods off the side of the road, never recovered. I kindly called Eric at SGI Transport and explained the situation. He recalled it very well of the tire change and mentioned that he informed my driver that a lug nut was missing (however, the next day Kevin mentioned that Eric misspoke and it was actually a stud missing). Regardless of what vital piece was missing, I as the owner and payee was never notified. The receipt that was provided only had the tire size and location in the notes but never informed us of the safety hazard of a missing "lug nut" or "stud". This accident could have resulted in a fatality and I was extremely disappointed when I called SGI Transport and spoke with Eric. He was very defensive and stated that it was my fault for "not paying attention to my business." I was shocked that he would speak to a customer in that manner. He then proceeded to use excessive profanity and then hung the phone up on me. I called back and was presented with the same treatment and then hung up on again. The following day I called back and I believe that I spoke with Kevin. He was calmer and more collect and we actually had a discussion about the situation. He then asked for me to email him the pictures and repairs but they guy or SGI Transport never responded to show the slightest of concern for my driver or situation that they caused. I am all for supporting other small business owner's and I was very patient with waiting for them to do the right thing, but I refuse to be bullied and ignored and punished for negligence during their installation. Knowing that a "lug nut" or "stud" was missing from the tire and it being a safety hazard and SGI still proceeding with the job was unprofessional and extremely irresponsible from a fiduciary stance. It turns out that the company also has a BBB (Better Business Bureau) complaint against them from January 2025.

This vendor Carolina Roadside was sent through the insurance company for roadside assistance for service on 07/22/2026, expecting professional results. Instead, I recieve unprofessionaism, poor quality work and degrading performance. The technician Ibraheem arrived 1 hour from the call for assistance and performed a sloppy job. My vehicle had to be jumped started due to battery issues. After my car was jumped started the vendor offered to get a battery replacement for me. After recieving the battery the battery did not fit the dimensions size for battery and case fitting. Due to having an imported vehicle aftermarket or generic batteries often feature a thick or poorly matched bottom plastic lip. If the height or thickness of this base ridge differs from the OEM spec, the factory bottom-locking clamp cannot latch or screw down properly into the battery tray.The battery did not fit due to my vehicle being an imported car. The most horrific matter I experienced was, the technician tried to force the battery to fit my car. He even suggested throwing my battery casing away so this generic battery could fit my car. I repeatedly advised the technician Ibraheem the battery was entirely too large from the beginning. He refuse to listen and left my vehicle battery casing open and not fitting properly, a battery that was too large and lose wiring on top of the battery which could cause damage or a fire. The deliverables did not match what was promised by this vendor. I contacted Ibraheem directly to resolve this and requested a refund for the substandard work. Despite documented proof of his failure, the company refused to refund my money to purchased another battery to fit my vehicle correctly nor would this vendor bring another battery to fit my imported vehicle. Ibraheem is very combative and entirely unhelpful. I highly recommend avoiding this company at all cost.

Let's just say....this business has 5 stars for a reason…read more We ended up in a terrible situation so we got on yelp and found this towing business, I decided to call and my reception was down so my call failed. Not only did Mr.Lee take the time out of his day to call me back and leave a voicemail, he also gave me a time of when he could be at my home to help! We were in search of something a little quicker (outside of his area) so we told him maybe we can call him back if we decided we needed his services. Well, Mr.Lee ended up calling us back! He had a reference to someone who was closer to our location who could help us in a quicker time! His reference "Juan" was on time, extremely helpful did everything in a timely fashion! We had an appliance that we purchased with our pickup truck get stuck in our backyard on a wet day. We had also called a service closer to our house who told us that "they could not help due to the fact that they could also get stuck on the wet grass". No fear!!! Extremely Dangerous Experience - Do Not Recommend!…read more My niece went to Watson Tire in Charlotte last week to get four used tires installed. After leaving the shop, one of the tires literally rolled off her car because the lugs were not even on. She immediately got out her vehicle and walked to the shop and spoke with the owner and the employee who installed the tires. Little do they know I was on the phone with her from the time she was at the tire shop until the incident happened. They told her to get her car checked and bring them the bill if anything was wrong, but when she returned with the Nissan dealership invoice, they refused to pay and accused her of swindling them. The owner was very rude and stated he will go get his daughter to move my niece while she waited for the police to arrive. My niece had to involve the police to ensure they didn't leave the premises. According to the officer, she is the second customer this has happened to at this establishment . This was an extremely unsafe situation that could have caused a serious accident. I do not recommend this shop, and I urge anyone considering them to be extremely cautious.
