I came to D3 Salon initially for a cut and color. First trip the hairdresser burned my skin along my hairline at my temples. She failed to tell me the dark spots at my temples were burns not just places where she failed to properly cleanse my skin of dye. These took a couple of weeks to heal and were deep enough to be uncomfortable. Next trip or two were cuts medium length. All went fine. Then another color and a very short cut. She knew about the first burns BTW. She put color on me , went to the back of the shop and failed to check on me for 35 minutes, then washed dye out. She cut my hair and shaved my neck with sheers. My head was itchy and uncomfortable. I woke the next day with sores like pimples on my neck and had places burned throughout my scalp. I have had my neck cleaned up before without a breakout. I am over 60 and do not have acne. I have never had skin issues or acne or staphylococcus infection on my skin It has been 6 weeks or longer and I am battling the break out still. Infection continues and antibiotics needed too. It was two fold: she burnt my scalp and used unclean equipment that has now caused an ongoing condition I have never had in my life. Do not trust that the sheers and shavers being used are cleaned between clients. I did and now have an ongoing issue caused by careless or a lack of cleaning. I did reach out management leaving a couple of messages but received no calls back. I and no one I know will ever go there again. read more

We love this salon and always feel pampered here. Jaycie at the front desk is super sweet. Aida and Debbe are both AMAZING stylist and they treat you like family! Our whole family goes here for trims, cuts, color, prom styles, etc. We always leave happy! When my daughter was diagnosed with a terrible disease last year and had to go through daily treatments, Aida gently cared for her hair and tender head every week until she was in remission, and she did it for free. They did not know us, and yet they treated us with such Love and generosity the whole time. Our family will be customers of D3 salon for life! read more

I have been coming here for 2 years and it is a fantastic salon. Debbie and her team are amazing. I've recently moved to Austin and I don't trust a lot of people with my hair so I drove here strictly just to get my hair done. Since the salon is closed mondays I stayed an extra 2 days just to get my roots highlighted, only to finally show up to the salon and Aida decided she didn't want to show up at work today or Answer any phone calls. So now I'll be driving all the way back to Austin empty handed thanks to Aida... besides this unfortunate event it is a great salon and recommend anybody to go to debbie or Cindy!! read more

Aida Chandran at D3 Salon on Eldorado Pkwy cuts my hair extremely well and I'm naturally curly. She was able to figure out my curls and the direction they curled and has been cutting my hair to follow them. (it took years for me to love my curls and I'm now picky. ). Her coloring techniques are also awesome. I resisted for a long time to get purple highlights (or any change of any kind) and finally threw caution to wind a couple of weeks ago and now wondering why I waited so long. I should have listened to her. my mom sees Deb, the owner, who really is an awesome lady. She reminds me a lot of my Aunt, who was also a hairdresser. It makes me smile every time I see her when I go in. Mom loves how Deb knows her hair. I've haven't heard one complaint from my mom since she started seeing her ( since she lives with me, I would know! ). I've had friends fo see Jessica and Cindy. Really, you can't go wrong with any of these ladies. And it's like going into a "woman cave" where you can relax. read more

D3 Salon it's a great place to have your hair done, it does not matter if it is color or a hair cut you want, they listen to you and advise on what will be the best for your hair. Today I went in with Stelist Stormie Norris and I was very impressed with her job, I asked her to do a color in my hair, showed her a pic of what I was looking, but she went beyond what expected. Had to wait 40 minutes after my appointment time, had to return to have my hair fixed, they changed my appointment time the day of my appointment, and double charged me for color without letting me know ahead of time that the amount would be double. Very nice salon. Newly built. Tilting sinks that adjust to your neck while getting hair washed. Would not recommend this to anyone trying to get balayage, ombré, or any of the latest trends for hair. Walked out of the salon with splotchy bleached hair. Some was brassy orange, some was bleach blonde, I showed pictures of what I was wanting to achieve and my hair looks nothing like it, she took the blonde too far up on my hair so the "low maintenance" I was wanting is not possible with how far up to the roots she placed the blonde. I also showed her a picture of the hair cut I wanted and it looks nothing like it. One side of my hair does not even have layers or face framing layers like I wanted so my hair is uneven.
