Long post alert So I contacted Mike from DaBass in Houston, Tx the fall of 2023 about customizing my 2021 can-am Ryker. He told me to send him my Ryker in dec of 2023 because he stated the sooner the better. I was not able to send it to him until January 2024 and it was due back to me May 2024. He did not start working on my Ryker until mid April 2024 meaning now it's going to be a rushed job. When I got my Ryker back in June 2024 late, preventing me from going to Ryker events in May. When I got it back it showed he rushed to get it done. The paint was cracked and running in areas, a tweeter missing, and the right front tire was knocking. I called him and he said he would make it right. I then and went to have my Ryker inspected and come to find out the tire was loose. I attended an event in Wabash, In and on the way back the back speaker flew out along with the other tweeters. I called him again and he told me he would send out a new speaker and tweeters, I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE EITHER. I then went to another event in Indy. I won the light show after someone came and showed me how to work them from his phone not my iPad. I too embarrassed to play my music loud due to the messed up speaker and missing tweeter's . I was also embarrassed because the people were pointing out the flaws on my Ryker, saying if it wasn't for this, if it wasn't for that you would win this category. ‍ While there we got caught in rain, mind you he said everything he put on my Ryker was waterproof, the next day nothing works anymore... PISSED I've have been calling and calling and he has been LYING AND LYING AND CONTINUE TO LIE. Y'all he has yet to send for my bike and now not answering my calls in June it will be a year since he said he would get it right. I need a lawyer in Tx. read more

DO NOT take your vehicle here. Had my car for a week to do a small job of blacking out the badges, emblems & grill. They didn't even do everything listed or correctly finish the job. It looks like a 5th grader did it, half-ass job. They need to refund me half of my money. read more

I originally looked at the reviews for this business and figured with 33 reviews at 4.5 stars, it must be a pretty great place. In reality, most people just have a very low bar for what constitutes customer service and care for your vehicle. I came in wanting a car alarm install and spoke to the owner for a good chunk of time about my install as well as just life. I was at ease leaving my car with them and felt very happy to do business with someone who SEEMED to care. Fast forward three hours, I pick up my car and drive it back home (I live across the street so it's about a 5 minute drive with red lights), proceed to use the alarm and everything feels fine. When I go to get into my car later on, I realize that they have scratched some plastic trim, broken screw covers on my door clean off and did something to my A/C that caused it to only blow cold air when it was at "MAX COLD", setting it to even 65 degrees would blow piping hot air out of the vents. I mean 80 degree hot air that felt stifling. My car's thermometer stated it was 80 degrees outside when it was actually a crisp 67 degrees. How can that be? I called the shop and told them my concerns and voiced that I was unhappy. The owner had left for the day so I had to deal with his daughter, who is a lovely individual, but has no idea how to actually serve customers in a professional setting. I showed her the damage and told her about the A/C and she seemed ambivalent at best, stating that the techs didn't touch the A/C unit. She brought out Migo, the sketchiest little rat tech that I've had the pleasure of having sit in my vehicle, he swore that he didn't do the install or touch my car and that the A/C must've simply just gone out. It was working fine when I bought the car, it's been working flawlessly in the time I've had it but once Da Bass and Migo got his little paws on it, it stopped working -- but that must be a coincidence. I talked to the daughter some more and she said that Migo WAS the one who installed the alarm and looked a little panicked. Migo is a liar and wanted to cover his own behind because he was afraid of being snapped in half over a mistake he caused and wouldn't cop to. This was at 2:45 PM. I called back at 5 PM and the daughter answered the phone, she informed me that, "no, they didn't look at the car because we didn't do anything to the A/C." THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE RIGHT HERE! I told her I was fed up and wanted my money back and I was walking over now. When I came in, she called her dad, handed me to the phone and ran to hide in the back. Her dad starts talking fast and over me, every time I tried to get a sentence out, he'd start talking loudly over me without giving me a chance to voice my concerns or even tell him what was wrong. He then so wonderfully offered to replace the plastic pieces they broke but they had to order them and then I'd have to bring my car back in. I told him no, I could order them myself and replace them myself, it's the principle of the matter. I tried to voice my concern about the A/C and again, he rudely started talking over me and wouldn't let me get a word in while blaming me for buying a used vehicle and it was, and I quote, "...most likely already broken. The previous owner probably temporarily fixed it and it broke when we got it." WHAT?! I told him it was impossible, I checked the mechanical parts and the ONLY thing that was different was that his tech Migo got into the electronics and did something. I asked for my money back and he said I'd have to waste another day off with his untrustworthy techs to uninstall the alarm they poorly installed and THEN he'd give me my money back. Fast forward to today and I went into the compartment under my steering wheel to see what they did and guess what? These idiots unplugged my ambient temperature sensor and didn't bother plugging it back in after lazily just shoving my new alarm under the steering wheel! If only they had gone back in to review their work after I voiced my concern, they would've caught it. It took me 5 minutes to fix. Don't trust these crooks. read more

He did show me my car and I was under the impression that you guys were working on it . I'm really upset because my car has been at your location for a month and it hasn't even been touched.. He acted like he didn't know about the Radio he acted like he didn't know anything at all for that matter My question to you is do I need to get a lawyer. Because I am totally upset . I see all the beautiful cars that you have currently worked on posted on Facebook and my car is sitting on your lot rotting! I call you and you don't answer the phone .
