Little Neck Clams prepared table side

Two words . F@8ing amazing! Been dying to come here and glad I did. Everything we ate was fantastic Wanted to try the clams we had seen online many times and they didn't disappoint. Also had to try the Pizza Carbonara and Chef Tino came by to finish the cook on the egg on top was a great touch. This was a very intimate BYOB in the North End of Cedar Grove . I almost don't want to post because I'll add to the hype and this place will be a very hard reservation but I have to give them props. Again, great meal and everything we ate was awesome. Will be back again and again. I need to mention the service was very attentive as well!

Amazing Italian restaurant super delicious and high-end, but still cozy and classy inside. I'd love that it's BYOB and you have to get the fire torch tableside carbonara pizza amazing service as well.

This is a sleek modernized looking restaurant. Everything has a clean fresh look from the new epoxy floor, tables, plates, lighting, and painted black ceiling. The owners are hands on and take pride in the food they serve. The timing of the food was perfectly paced. We started with fried calamari which was crispy and light, and the fried goat cheese fritters which were tasty and light. We had the pasta with olives, basil, capers, and cheese and these ingredients were very complimentary of each other. We ordered a side of brussels sprouts that popped with the cut of bacon used in the preparation. We also ordered what we were told was the special 14oz NY strip steak that was topped with garlic butter, cracked pepper, and a sprig of rosemary. It was good but way overpriced. There wasn't bread for the tables either. For dessert we had the lemon truffles that were more like a cake pop than a true truffle but delicious nonetheless. Overall a great dining experience.

It definitely has a cozy feeling though and is a very pleasant place for relaxing dinner. The restaurant is a BYOB establishment, and they deftly opened our bottle of wine. I would have broken the cork for certain. For starters my father and I both had their version of Oysters Rockefeller. It included six oysters that were prepared with bacon, spinach onions and cream. While not strictly traditional it was absolutely delicious, and we'd order it again. The restaurant also serves Spiedini alla Romano, which you don't see often. We didn't get it this time, but we saw it being served and will definitely try it on our next visit. For entrees we ordered the Veal Francaise. It came with roasted potatoes and vegetables that were perfectly cooked. The veal was tender, and the Francaise sauce was flavorful with a proper lemony note. This is another dish we'll order again. The service was friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable. Casa Arturo Bistro is definitely worth a try.

The chicken parmigano was excellent, the fish dishes were tasty, and the appetizers (stuffed artichoke, coconut shrimp, and fried calamari) were all great. There is a small little parking lot that can fit 4-5 cars right off the main road. Inside was decorated with cute Christmas decor, and the domestic violence scene from Godfather Part 1 casually playing on the TV while I'm trying to eat my food. Good variety of options of appetizers, small shared plates, pizza, fresh pasta, and entrées to choose from our group decided to split the popular pizza. Then everyone offended for themselves - our table ordered the gnocchi with pesto and chicken Milanese, chicken parmigiana with penne, Arancini, and the "focaccia"/house garlic bread. The Arancini was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and luscious on the inside. The pizza was a perfect sweet and savory combo of burrata, prosciutto, and balsamic glaze. The pesto was a bit thin and ate a little soupier than I prefer. Buyer beware with the focaccia - although it's called focaccia, it's also listed under the pizzas so it was served thin and crispy like a pizza rather than thick and fluffy like we had been expecting. I would absolutely return again to try all the other dishes, especially the shared plates, different pizzas, and other fresh pasta offerings.

I had my back to the bar, but from what I was able to see this is a very cozy place. Service was quick and attentive, and we did not feel rushed and were able to enjoy a pleasant time chatting. Drinks: the black walnut Manhattan, Fig jam old fashioned, wine , beer and port. Drinks were all excellent, i tasted the Manhattan and enjoyed it over the Fig Jam. For apps: Clams oreganato (the couple with us enjoyed this), flat bread (was much more like pizza than flat bread, but still tasty, per my husband), and on the special New England Clam Chowder which was very good, not too thick and decent and fresh clams in it. Entrees: Shrimp Risotto scampi, very flavorful Risotto cooked perfectly. Two of us ordered the Cajun Mahi Mahi, over spinach with mashed, and 2 shrimp. the Cajun sauce was tasty with the perfect amount of heat, shrimp and mahi-mahi fresh and cooked perfectly. Rigatoni Bolognese which my husband enjoyed and said it was almost as good as my Italian mother's (like a good son-in-law) lol Dessert: Crème Brûlée - Brûlée was perfect, the crème was a little too thick for me. I ate it and enjoyed it, but not the best I've had. My husband ordered the key Lime Pie happy that it did not include nuts in the crust as some do, he thought it was good. Needless to say, the food was great. We started off with some fantastic and delicious appetizers, including a variety of homemade potato pizza (really good), prosciutto and mozzeralla, bruschetta, eggplant caponata, plus fruit and a variety of other tasty treats. The entrees (all served family style) including pappardelle with sausage in cream sauce, chicken francese, grilled shrimp over bracolli rabe and fusilli with vodka sauce. Amazing meal and Rosa and family could not have been nicer. Rosa's is a BYOB and there is street parking only. It is located less than a mile away from the Willowbrook Mall. By request, there was not too much meat served tonight because of the religious holiday (ash Wednesday). We ended the meal with some Italian pastries, a celebratory cake commemorating the occasion and tartufo. A great evening with long time friends and good food. Interesting note about Rosa's Italian Restaurant and Caterer. This restaurant is not generally open to the public. It is not a walk in restaurant. If you would like to come to Rosa's you have to pre-schedule your dinner in advance with at least 8 or more people (up to 40 according to Rosa) and Rosa will accommodate you. You can discuss selected entrees if you like but generally the meal will consist of the dishes that Rosa is making that day. That meal will consist of a large variety of great dishes prepared for your group and served family style. This is a very cool dining experience in a old school Italian neighborhood restaurant. Well, I was finally able to investigate, since I was invited there for a wedding. The ceremony had been elsewhere, and when we arrived, we were a bit too early for the cocktail hour, which was to be held in the sunny Gregorian Room with its spectacular views of the blooming flowers on the outdoor Piazza. The entrance to the space was roped off until the precise kick-off time, so we all gathered in the marble lobby, which became more and more crowded as guests arrived. Folks were starting to get a bit restless, but at least there was a staff member serving sparkling wine with strawberries to keep them calm. I was not a fan of the selected bubbles, but they did their job. Also, since the day was unseasonably chilly, the coat room had been closed, but I reached out to a server, and she graciously opened the closet for the few of us that had items we needed to check. Once we got into the cocktail reception, we had access to a large open bar, loads of food, and plenty of seating. There were some passed hors d'oeuvres, as well as stations for antipasti, pizza, pasta, and carved meats. I found many of the Italian salads and marinated vegetables just decent, but the pizza was surprisingly good. I was trying to save room for dinner, so I did not try the pastas or meats, which had not really appealed to me anyway. We were later told to head upstairs to the Ballroom, which was elegant and looked like something straight out of a fairytale. It was extremely spacious, allowing guests to socialize with ease. The dancefloor was similarly sprawling with plenty of room to strut your stuff along to the music. From a drinks perspective, most people just claimed their own beverages from the bar, though the servers did offer us either a Pinot Grigio or a Cabernet Sauvignon tableside. I opted for the Cab, but found it watery and acidic. There were dinner rolls waiting at our place setting, and those were soft, fluffy, and lightly sweet. They were delicious! Our first course was a Caesar salad, which was fine except for the dressing tasted like pure mayonnaise. Thankfully, the second course was a palate cleanser of lemon sorbet, which was refreshing and not too sweet. We then had our choice of main course, selecting from salmon, chicken, and Chateaubriand. I went with the grilled salmon, which was served over a creamy potato puree and sauteed carrots. It was all tasty and well-executed. I heard that the steak, which was served with the same side dishes, was enjoyable as well. For dessert, we received individual slices of wedding cake, as well as a platter of cookies and mini-pastries for the table. Everything was delicious, and it was a nice end to the meal. il Tulipano was a gorgeous venue, especially for a wedding, and the service was phenomenal. I just felt that the food had some hits and some misses.
