Service was great however I paid $50 for a fill and 5 days later they chipped and one peeled off. I called to see about getting them fixed and the gentlemen on the phone was kind and said no problem. I get there the next morning and the owner redid only the nail that peeled off and for the chipped ones she just brushed over with more polish. I asked if they can get completely redone since the polish she just put over was not even and didn't match. She said no and just painted the whole section instead. I normally don't complain but I paid way too much for a fill and when it chipped her instinct was to just cover it all lumpy. 10/10 don't recommend going here. 1. Prices are too high and 2. I would like to start this off by saying I was not originally going to mention the salon itself but the individual nail technicians that did me and my sisters nails but after getting them fixed for "free" I will be including the salon itself in my complaint. My sister and I went yesterday to have our nails done. I was at table 7 with technician, Dat. My sister was at table 12 with technician, Seven. To say I was displeased with their work is an understatement. I left the salon with a crooked nail and every single one of my nails being different lengths and shapes. This is not the first time this has happened with this technician either. My sister had a design for the ring finger on each hand. She wanted a bow and she left looking like he had painted a double shafted penis on each hand. She had told the technician many times before leaving and he did not fix it. Additionally, she had French tips done to the rest of her nails that were done incorrectly. Brush strokes where polish was thicker was visible as if he'd cured them without blending them together. Now we went back today after being told our nail fixes would be free and they tried to change me 20 dollars for my nails and they charged me 65 dollars for my sisters fix. I am absolutely livid. This salon is greedy and does not value their customers. I will never go back there again. I'm absolutely outraged at the fact that what I was told would be them making it right for free cost me so much. I was told the cost was due to them "filling" our nails which was not what was done. They were literally done the day prior and did not require a fill. Da Vinci nails did me RIGHT. The staff is so kind! They stayed open an extra 10 minutes and were very caring for my edges and cuticles (as we all know ladies, cuticle care is important!!). They even applied cuticle oil to my skin after! Extremely accurate almond blue nails! Super quick, very affordable (these were about $27 including tip) and gorgeous. I love it here. Note: I'm very on top of COVID and there were multiple procedures in place to make sure that everybody was safe and healthy including mini handwashing stations, hand sanitizer, and gloves worn by the nail artists. read more

Decent pedicure, definitely depends who you get, but they've recently started charging for heel filing which is definitely not worth it for the quality they provide. The girl I've had a few times has also cut the side of my nails to much, so it's been very painful growing out. I'll be looking for a new place. read more

Horrible horrible first experience! Made an appointment for 3:00, didn't get service til 4. Had to change my service because there were only 4 people able to do a full set and no one was available. The lady who did my toes, Jen was very nice and tried hard to make up for my pitiful service but it just kept going downhill. The gentleman who painted my nails was rushing because it was now near closing and he got polish on my skin. One lady began sweeping the floor around me because it was near closing time, she then swept over my freshly painted toes. If I could give this place a zero stars I would. I got dipped nails exactly one week ago and I have already had one fall off. This was my first time at Da Vinci Nail. I came into town for business and since it's so close to a Christmas, I really wanted to have my nails done. I drove past the nail salon on my way to the hotel last night so I decided to come back after work today. The salon is very open and spacious! It doesn't smell like chemicals at all. The pedicure stations are beautiful and the manicure stations are just as nice. Mary was my manicurist and she did a phenomenal job. She even helped me choose between the two colors I had picked out. Don't let them use the cheese grater on you! They took off more than just my callouses with the first swipe. I ended up with 2 holes on my foot and I bled all over and couldn't get my foot massage. This salon offers choices for types of pedicures and we both selected deluxe. Neither tech massaged us or used tools to make our feet softer. His was even worse than mine. When we went to pay I asked if his could be demoted to a regular pedicure since we didn't receive anything "deluxe" and they didn't understand what I was saying and simply responded with "men and women" cost the same. After a long wait, which I understood since I was a walk in, they sat me at a spa pedicure that di not have hot water....and left me soaking with no bubbling in Luke warm watwr for at least 20 minutes....when one tech started he poured hot water from adjacent station..... My family and I are always looking for the best place to get a pedicure. We were at Starbucks earlier last week and noticed Da Vinci nails and decided to give it a shot. Da Vinci nails is very spacious and has many stations for both hands and feet to be pampered. The pedicure chairs are modern and comfortable. The nail techs were kind and efficient. However, the prices are a few dollars higher than other places in Fort Wayne. With that in mind, I'll have to come back to da Vinci nails and see how they handle gel manicures! read more

I tried this salon for the first time recently and was very pleased with my service! The first thing you'll notice about this salon is how spacious it is. No smelly, cramped shop here! There's a small desk at the front where you can check in and choose your services before moving over to wait. Relax in comfortable arm chairs or padded benches, not plastic chairs. There is also a small refrigerator in the waiting area that holds bottled water and several types of soda with a small sign that invites their clients to enjoy a refreshment. The establishment as a whole is very fresh and modern, with high ceilings, comfortable chairs, and sinks at each manicure station. I did not get a pedicure during my visit, but please check out the photos that previous Yelpers have posted. The foot baths are gorgeous! I stopped in to get my first ever set of acrylics done. The male tech that worked with me was very good about answering questions and making sure that I was comfortable. When a coworker brought a water over for him, he offered me one as well. He was meticulous with achieving the shape and length that I wanted. The acrylic he laid was thin but very sturdy. I got tons of compliments on my nails, and many people were shocked to find that they weren't my natural nails! I felt that the prices were entirely comparable to other salons in Fort Wayne (maybe $1-2 more? Seriously, the margin in price is that tiny), but the experience to be had here is worth much more! I stopped today to get a pedicure and dip manicure after leaving the dr. office. I usually get my nails done somewhere else but it was close and wasn't super busy. I was seated pretty much right away. Wasn't long before the tech came over to ask what kind of pedicure. I pointed to and said "I'd like the volcano pedicure." They tech said okay. Well, this is supposed to be their top of line pedicure with paraffin, hot stones, etc. 15 minutes later the tech was done. Literally 15 minutes! Nothing fancy at all. Basic as basic could be. Tech just didn't understand even when I said "this is the wrong pedicure. " Just kept going on about her business. At this point, I was frustrated so I wouldn't even let her polish my toenails, which by the way she only filed and a poor job at this too. The tech couldn't understand why I wanted to leave and for her to not polish my nails. I went to pay and the owner asked had I changed my mind when I was trying to pay for what little service I did get. Told him what happened and that I didn't receive what I asked for. He did apologize but I definitely will not return even for convenience of proximity. This isn't the first mess up at this place. I try to give multiple chances but enough is enough. The owner did my nails. This would be his second time and both times I'm super disappointed. This is a dip polish. I've had this done many times. He was suppose to use a drill along the outside of the nails to shape the dip and file to make it look attractive sitting on my nail. Tried this place for a second time and let completely disappointed again. Made an appointment for my daughter, my niece, and me. By the time someone even came to start my pedicure my daughter and niece were walkways done with their kid ones that lasted 15 minutes and were $20. Definitely not worth the money. This is the worst nail salon i've ever been to!!! Right from the get-go they were seating walk in customers before me even though i made an appointment. Then my manicurist, who was the MANAGER, did a horrendous job on my acrylics: filed them down to nothing, kept scratching off the polish to start over, left my hands dirty with nail polish all over them, did a terrible job cleaning up the nail shape, and charged me $46 dollars for a $26 service. I refused to pay that price so he lowered it, but the fact is that he was cheating me tried to lie to get more money. I will not be back. Davinci was my go to nail spot for almost 2 years, but unfortunately I will not be returning as a customer. I received a medium length full acrylic set with special gel polish ($60 total) and within a week, three of the nails had cracked horizontally and fallen off (no pain inflicted). The first two fell off within three days, then the third fell off on day six. When I went to get them fixed, I asked what could've caused them to break so easily. I explained I had never had this issue before and one reason I liked Davinci nails was because of the quality of the work and friendliness of staff. The lady repairing my nails simply said she didn't know and asked if I had done anything to cause them to break. I told her I wasn't aware of anything I had done, and she continued fixing my nails. While filing down the acrylic, my cuticle snagged and dragged on the drill. No apologies were made. Toward the end, I was asked who did the original set and after explaining who it was and where they sat, I was left with silence. While cashing out, I asked what I can do to prevent this from happening again. I wondered because I am not interested in spending half the cost of a fill (if using regular gel polish) to repair three nails within a week of having them done. I did not get a response, and was told that my total was $15. I explained again how I had just had my nails done within the week and was confused how my bill was half the cost of a fill and why they broke so easily/quickly. Again no answers by the lady who completed the repair, or any of the staff within earshot. After this trip, I feel disrespected as a customer and I am now actively looking for a new nail salon in Fort Wayne. read more

Today I went here for a girls day with my roommate and I choose a burgundy color. When we walked in they were friendly and ask what we needed. We waiting for a nail tech to finish braiding her hair. I wanted a mani cure and eye brows. When my nail tech applied it was a bright red. So I asked if she had a darker tone she went to check but said no. So I tried another red but I did not like it. I should mention I had told her I wanted a burgundy color from the beginning so I was upset but ask her if I could just change the color to a grey. She got offended and said no because she had already put the red on. However, she used nail polish remover to check the other red tone so I said I wasn't going to get or pay for something I didn't want. She said "I don't have time". It was maybe 7 pm. She had a attitude I didn't not appreciate so I asked for her manager or owner and she said "I'm his niece and he's not here". So I asked if she could just take off the gel. She still charged 16$ for cutting my cuticles. I don't mind paying for a service but the customer service was horrible. Absolutely horrible. Oh I should add it wasn't busy. What an expensive disappointing time my granddaughter and I had today. My regular nail salon was booked so I made appts for us both to have pedis and manicures at DaVinci. Luckily my 9 yr old grand daughter, on her Spring Break, got a nice young lady who understood 3/4 what she said and we had pics on our phone of what we wanted as far as nail art on just our big toes and a couple fingers. My pedicure lady never smiled, was rough, walked away twice without saying a thing and the pedi was over quickly. Moving on to the manicures, even tho we had appts I stood by the chair while my grand daughter had her nails done. After complaining about having made an appt, the chatter went out to all. A bitter looking women came to do my manicure and it was horrible, she was mad the whole time and didn't understand one word I was trying to tell her. She walked away for about the 3rd time and another bitter women came to try and draw a flower on my nail. Not immpressive nail art here. Told her to wipe it off and forget it. She agreed. Went to the counter to pay ...121.00. Couldn't believe it, not knowing the prices exactly,not getting a childs pricing, I handed her the money and she walked away. Not saying anything. Our actual experience with the manicures was great- I got a regular manicure and my 2 daughters got a full set of acrylics. The technicians were friendly and professional, and our nails look great. However, I am not happy with the reservation system (or lack of it). I took off work early to have a mother-daughter date for this special occasion with dinner afterwards. I called a month early to make reservations so we could all be together and enjoy our time. But when we arrived we were told to sign in and even after I told the manager that we had reservations we basically just had to wait our turn with everyone else who just showed up and wait for an opening. Some people who came in after us were taken back before us as well. We each went back at different times, up to 45 minutes after our reservation time, and we were not near each other at all. The point was to have a nice time with each other and if they don't respect reservations then why would they take them? I would have different expectations if we were told it was first come first serve. Also, we missed our dinner reservation due to having to wait so long. read more

This is my go-to nail salon when I want to pamper myself with a mani or pedi however I was very disappointed during my last visit and will not be returning anytime soon. I got a gel manicure and the lady who was doing my nails started video chatting her friend during the appointment!!! She set her phone up next to me and was video chatting with someone while she worked on my nails! It may not bother some people but it was very unprofessional in my opinion. I NEVER write reviews but what happened was absolutely ridiculous! I'm am beyond fuming. After my mani and pedi., which were mediocre. Cut my toenails and nails too short and she started cutting the side of my toenails... that causes in grown toenails! I put a stop to that quickly as I've never had an ingrown toenail and nor do I want one. Okay so what was the BIG problem was my eyebrow wax. I have never in my life left crying after someone waxed my brows. I had full thick eye brows, like a well maintained caterpillar. And I walked out with the thinnest eyebrows I have ever had and the most misshapen and uneven. It looks like I have thin tattooed brows. Not my style. She also burnt me. She did not ask me how I wanted them she just started. Just seconds prior she was sooo focused on her phone. She was not focused on her job which was my eyes brows. When I let her know how upset I was she was like you did not tell me you just wanted just a clean up. Granted I didn't but who the hell totally changes someone's eyebrows like that?!? To make things even more grand...I have a photo shoot in 2 days! I will have messed up brows that will need to actually be DRAWN in and burnt eyelids. I am so furious about this. The tech I used to get every time apparently no longer works here, and he did a fabulous pedicure. When I first noticed he wasn't there, I asked about him, everyone acted like they had no idea who I was talking about, and unfortunately, I had neglected to learn his name. The techs I've had since have been adequate at best, minimal massage, and too rough on my feet, which is a problem I've had at several salons. This salon was recommended to me by the mother of the bride and I made a reservation a few weeks in advance since we had a little bit of a time crunch. As we were just 4 getting our nails done I thought a heads up would be appreciated and we would be able to sit near one another and still talk. Our appointment was for Friday in the early afternoon so I had hoped it would not be too busy. We arrived early for our appointment and no one seemed to remember I had called (isn't it written down?) so we were taken back one at a time in the order we checked in as after other walk-in customers who arrived before us were served before us. This was fine as we were all still seen in what I believe to be a reasonable time but I wouldn't have bothered with a reservations if it didn't matter. I also would have made a point to show up and check us in so we were not waiting in the small waiting area for quite as long. My nail tech was pretty unorganized and had to keep looking for things around the salon, but when she was done my nails looked fine. It wasn't until we had left the salon that I noticed my topcoat was very uneven and did not reach the sides on many of my nails. Of course that means they chipped almost immediately, and I regret not packing my own polish to fix them up. In less than 24hrs they looked a little rough for wedding photos! DaVinci nails is by far one of the best nail salons on this side of Indiana. The people and the environment are so nice. The only downside is that there is quite a long wait depending on when you go. I went on a Monday around 2 and got in almost immediately. The woman that did my full set was kind, and work very fast. I had originally picked out a pink color with a little bit of sparkle. She took one look at it and told me that it was too light and she would suggest putting another color under it. She walked me over and went through a color book and we discussed which ones would look good. We picked one out and I have never been more happy with my nails. I have been pleased everytime I have gone here but this previous time really took the cake. My nails are a beautiful shape , color, and they look natural, they are flat on my fingers and it is not obvious that I have acrylics. I would 100% recommend DaVinci nails. read more

This place is amazing! Very spacious & clean. I walked in & was immediately seated for a pedicure (on a Saturday afternoon). The pedicure was wonderful, the massage chair is reason enough to go! Massage felt so good & toe nails look great. I had a fill done on my nails. Jen (nail tech) fixed my shape & found a great nude for me. She was very knowledgable about colors (knew the old color I was wearing by name when I sat down) & forming a stable shape. Nails look long, thin & natural. I was very impressed by everything.
