They worked proactively with the other driver's insurance company to get all approvals, calmly explained the repair steps and timetable to me, and kept me updated me as delays getting factory parts for a car in its first model year unfolded. Don't believe all the good reviews. They are probable paid for, or only done by people that had no issues. The mark of a good customer service company is not in how they deal with smooth and flawless situations. Anyone can look good when things are smooth. This company; however, will not give you any customer service if they make a mistake. I took my car in for repairs after hitting an elk. The called and stated that repairs where completed. I called after they left a message on Friday June 25th, and asked if we could pick the car up on a Friday which was a few days after the call. I was told they don't have a lot of storage and that we needed to get the car. On the day we went to get the car we were told that they still needed to install the decals. So, not finished. Also, much to our surprise there was a dent in the passenger door that Mike the owner agreed that they would fix as they caused it. We scheduled a date on the 23st of July, a Friday to have them install the decal, and fix the dent because that is the day that there paintless dent guy was there. On the 23rd we went to get the car, and the decal was on but the dent they caused is still there. I texted them immediately and they agreed to have it looked at. The following week we took the car back in, and they attempted to fix the dent, and some electrical problems the car was having from their repairs. On August 12th after some time at the dealer, and at their shop we went to pick up our jeep, as it is still not working, in order to get it to our dealer. As I was there I noticed the dent is still there and visible. The repair is awful. Mike, the owner comes out and says they will do nothing else to repair their damage(that they caused), and that if I did not get off their lot they would call the police. I am a Veteran and served with honor. I have never in my life been treated from a customer service standpoint, so poorly. I'm sure if you read through the reviews that are negative you will see that Mike, or Dennis will respond as they do stating that this is a fake post or I wasn't a customer. Don't you believe it. so now I am stuck with either suing them, or getting it fixed myself. Don't trust these guys with you car. They mess it up you will be left hanging. read more

Update: I wanted to give 5 stars to Dabler, but here's the story. When we got our car fixed through them after an auto accident, their mechanic had said we have "old and loose parts, unrelated to the accident" that we'd want to get looked at soon. About a month or so after the repair, our van was driving worse than ever. It was tugging towards the side of the van that got hit. We were about two hours away on a trip when it suddenly took a drastic turn south and we started back home. The tugging to the right got so intense we blew a tire on the freeway. (The tire was worn on our left side from fighting the intense right side pull.) We got a brand new tire, drove the remaining hour home and took it in to our own mechanic the next morning. He got in there and and tell that there was no doubt our van had damage on our right side but it wasn't due to old or loose parts as Dabler told us. It was due to a bent part (steering rod?) from the impact of being hit in that side. This oversight ended up costing us nearly $1000 out of pocket between the new tire and the $800 in actual repairs to the van from our own mechanic. That was unfortunately a very costly mistake - costly to us, that is. Original review: Dabler was the only pleasant experience about getting into a car accident! They made things as seamless and easy as they could, had the car returned when they said they would and even managed to save us $100 off the original quote. Had hassles and stress from the beginning with the men working in the office they make it too complicated to just get your vehicle repaired by them. You would think they would just do whatever needed to make it easy on the customer to just have their car fixed. They made me think that repairing the damage on my work truck was too much for them or they just didn't want to work on it. They also got too involved with how my claim was being handled by my insurance which I was not happy about and they assumed things that they have no business doing. I ended up taking my truck to another shop where they gave me no hassles and was willing to do the extra work and labor to repair my truck which my ins was willing to pay them for. read more

I had a great experience with Dabler. When I first got my quote Dennis was very friendly, answered all my questions and thoroughly explained everything that would be done to my car. My car has a three stage paint that is very hard to match and they matched it perfectly, you would never know my car was hit. They gave me several phone calls throughout the repair to let me know how things were going with my car, I really appreciated that. A tow truck had backed into our car and so we took it to Chuck Dabler to get it fixed. They were very friendly to my husband and I and our toddler son. The repair took less than the 3 days they estimated it would and the best part was that they not only repaired our car but they shined and vacuumed out the inside! They went above and beyond! They recently did some great body repair for me, but that is not the story. Prior to the body damage, another vendor was supposed to have already done some work (not body work), on my car and it hadn't been done. They arranged for the vendor to do the work at their shop while the body work was being done. The vendor again had problems and they took control of the vendor's problem. I live in Portland, but my father suggested that I give this body shop a try because he has had nothing but great experiences over the years with these guys. The service was very friendly and attentive and the bids competitive. They had rental cars on hand so I was not out a car and the end product - you'd never know I had damage. What I really appreciated about these guys was the level of communication and professionalism throughout the process.
