Great Cuban sandwich! We loved the Cuban coffee as well. The owner was so friendly. We will definitely be back to try other menu items!

You know you're about to eat at a "nice restaurant" but that you would be welcome in all types of dress anytime of day. I went to the restroom while my husband ordered drinks, I told him to surprise me. The waitress helped him order and he ended up ordering a drink called The Bees Knees. I loved it! He got a ranch water, boring lol. For an appetizer we shared the Crabback. It's basically a fancy crab cake but man was it delicious. Best crab cake type appetizer I have ever had. For dinner we shared the Escovitch Red Snapper. It came with rice and beans and plantains but we traded the plantains for the butternut squash soup. The fish was so tender and flaky. It was topped beautiful, thinly sliced pickled veggys and two huge grilled shrimp. The rice and beans were mixed together and the perfect pairing with the fish. This dish was 10/10 and we will definitely get it again. The butternut squash soup was so creamy and flavorful, best we have had. This restaurant is such a great place to try new food and get some of the yummiest drinks. It's a great place to eat if you are downtown for a concert or show. If you like to expand your horizons and try unique food that is hard to find anywhere else, if you can even find it, then run to Sisserou's in downtown Tulsa. The updated interior is very clean and inviting, with a mix of seating options depending on your mood. They offer a variety of drink options, including self serve stations and bar selections. The staff is friendly and genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, which always makes the experience better. Food comes out all at once, which I appreciate because you are not waiting between dishes. I ordered: * Lamb empanada with Chipotle mayo * House salad * Mixto with mahi mahi and shrimp * tres leche cake The lamb empanada was soft, juicy, and full of flavor. The house salad came with a lemon dressing that was fresh and bright. Adding the chipotle mayo as a dip for the empanada was a great choice and added another layer of flavor. The mixto was a standout. The mahi mahi and shrimp were both tender and sat in a flavorful curry sauce that paired perfectly with the rice. The plantain chips added a satisfying crunch, and the vegetable based dip that came with them was a great complement to the dish. For dessert, I tried the tres leches cake because the house made ice cream was not yet available. It was a nice, sweet finish to the meal. Overall, this is a spot I would return to. The food is flavorful, the space is well designed, and the service makes the experience feel welcoming from start to finish.
