HORRIBLE!!!! Thousands of dollars in damage to my vehicle and won't fix!!! I have never once left a negative review, but I've never had a worse experience than working with this Dad's. I dropped my car off for a minor express detailing service that I had a gift card for, which they accidentally booked me under the all-day deluxe detailing. After paying more for the deluxe service I didn't consent to, I drove my car off the lot to my screen and sound system completely black and my car full of moisture. The screen/sound system was working just fine before the service and I have photos/documentation to prove it. I called the next day and was told to bring the car back and they'd file a report and take photos (which I did). After a week of no contact they stopped responding to my calls/messages/were extremely rude when I showed up in person, and said they weren't liable and would not fix. I even went as far as getting the car diagnosed by an expert with proof of water damage and they won't cooperate/share their insurance information with me to allow the insurance to deem who is liable... I will now be filing a letter from an attorney, but I'm sure they're hoping I give up and pay the thousands of $ in damage. Horrible customer service and honestly emotional/financial trauma from this experience. Don't plan on Dads fixing your car if their equipment breaks it and it's more than 5yrs old. They broke my grill and scratched the paint and 1 headlight and they said they only fix their mistake if your car is 5yrs or newer. THANKS DADS! Top notch company. Not read more

I went to Dad's Car Wash this morning on Cleveland Ave. in North Canton to have my Lexus SUV washed and the inside cleaned. I was greeted with the new pricing that I think is a rip off. The exterior "Dad's Best" wash cost $15.02 plus tax which was acceptable, but to have the interior cleaned cost an additional $28.16 plus tax. I asked why the interior cleaning was so expensive and I was told that since Dad's had been sold 6 month's earlier, they had raised the prices because of "labor costs". The interior cleaning took 18 minutes and they did a relatively good job. But charging me a rate of effectively $90 per hour for a simple cleaning, not detailing, was way over the top. So for a good exterior wash and an interior vacuum and wipe down cost $46 including tax. In 2019 the same service at the same car wash, but with the previous owners, cost less than $26. A 77% increase means I'm looking for a new car wash. read more

I don't write many reviews, and certainly not for things like an oil change, but I wanted to compliment this local business and hopefully light a spark that will lead to more business. I recently moved back to the area and wasn't sure where to go for an oil change. Dad's was right around the corner and I actually over-looked it as an option at first but was happy I turned the car around and went for it. The price is affordable and what I would call standard, but the service I was really impressed by. You know in those movies where you see a local diner where the waitresses know the customers and the guy with the newspaper in the corner booth is served a fresh slice of apple pie without asking by Mel working the counter? This place has that feel. I guess I can stop the review here by summarizing -- why am I leaving a review for an oil change? Because the management was fantastic, the pricing was competitive, the location is ideal and it's a great community business to support. Boom. read more

SCRATCHES ON YOUR DIRTY CAR -- they use a machine brush wash that seems designed specifically to damage cars without actually cleaning them. Scratched the side view mirror on my brand new car, less than 2k miles. Then the manager argued with me, stating that he could not be sure that his machine scratched my car. Said I could be lying about the scratches on my brand new car. It got worse -- the manager was then insulting and slightly threatening. I honestly did not feel safe. Had me fill out some joke of a contact form, but refused to provide contact information, refused to say when someone would contact me, refused to provide a name. I doubt I'll ever hear from them. Now I'll be stuck replacing a side view mirror for a few hundred dollars. Maybe the worst part is that it didn't even get the car clean, left tons of salt lines all over, barely touched the sideboards. So if you want scratches on your dirty car, this is your car wash. read more

I have a monthly unlimited car wash pass to get my brand new 2020 Ram Limited cleaned and I have been using it to get the truck cleaned about 4 times per week since Jan. I for the record have had the truck in there many times with no issues. The car wash is OK but many times there is tons of dirt left in the wheel wells back of the cab and bed and rims. They have added drying the interior door jambs which is nice. Yesterday 2/24/21 that all changed. There was a line as it is the 1st time it has warmed up over freezing in a few weeks. Mid way through the car wash my truck stopped moving forward. I felt the rear end jump once then again and I started honking the horn just as I was hit by the car behind me twice before someone shut the entire car wash down. An attendant came and had me pull forward into position and started the wash again. Once I pulled out for towel drying I went back to inspect and see the damage. I grabbed Alex the manager to show him what happened. He noticed the damage and asked me to pull around so he could start a report. He took my information and said they had a good camera system and would look into what happened and would call me later. He called about an hour later and said they would not fix the damage as he or his employees did not pull the truck into the car wash and couldn't be sure I didn't put it in park or reverse mid wash. He also said the center cameras were all fogged up due to all the washes they had done that day. So he really couldn't see what happened. The bottom line is this is a brand new truck that was damaged from his faulty equipment and they are refusing to stand behind their clear responsibility and repair my truck. I would highly suggest you do not take your car there for anything. read more

First, let me say I have been a customer of this car wash for 2 years now. It is not a great car wash, but it is convenient in the winter time to get the salt off of my car. My car does not leave super clean though. This car wash has scratched my car, so if you have a dark colored car.... DO NOT GO. Recently, I went through their wash and in the middle of the wash I received a blown tire. So my car wash costed me over $200!!! There was a truck that went in before me that had a level in the bed that blew out during his wash. Apparently, the employees are supposed to check the beds and take anything out. Obviously this did not happen. Dad's will not accept any responsibility for this and think the person that I don't know should have to pay for my tire. I finally got someone to call me and all he did was give me attitude. Apparently, they talked to the customer in front of me and told him to pay for my tire (he paid for $100) of it, which I don't think he should. Then the guy from Dad's that was giving me attitude kept asking me why the guy didn't pay for it, like I'm supposed to know. At the end of the conversation they say that their insurance would be contacting me and this has never happened. It is time to take my business elsewhere to a company that cares about their customers. read more

My car was damaged by this car wash. The damage was not there before because I had just cleaned out my trunk and then drove two minutes down the road to get it washed. The damage was to the trunk. I immediately drive right back and told the attendants about it and one even admitted the damage wasn't there before going through the wash. Not only did the owners not follow up, but they avoided my calls for weeks! When I finally got them on the phone the owner denied any responsibility and stated that his car wash doesn't do damage. He didnt even apologize or sound empathetic whatsoever, and basically called me a liar. He wouldn't even look at the estimate. What classless unethical management! I will never go there again, nor would I recommend this place. In fact, I will make sure that everyone knows what a poorly run business this is. The sad part is, it would have cost less to fix the damage then the business he will lose because of this. This is a new owner I am told. He has a lot to learn about business and how to treat customers. read more

If I could give this car wash a negative rating I would. Dad's on Fulton really lives up to its demographic's stereotypical attitude. This car wash was so infuriating to me that I actually had the nerve to write a review. A review ABOUT A CAR WASH. What has my life come to. This being my very first review. Right from the beginning, I wasn't greeted with that "hometown feel," that you get from some fake made up movie diner. Sorry Chris. But rather I was greeted with some serious sass and quite the opposite of a melodramatic experience. Then followed by a mediocre car wash (not much to complain about there, it's a machine, it had a great personality though, better than the guy out front). I mean it's not like the car wash did a great job either. Then to no surprise..... followed by.... wait for it... crappy service!!!! Teach em how to dry a car right.... I've been taking my two cars to Dad's for several years, using the unlimited wash service. There are details that I believe would greatly improve the service. When spraying the pre-wash the workers should stand in the middle of the back end of the car and spray both sides equally instead of staying at the left corner and covering the left side of the car but incompletely misting the opposite side. Pre-washing the front end is moderately more consistent. Using the power sprayer the rear valance under the bumper is seldom shown attention. Fender edges located just inside the fender well is neglected. Product choices are good and there is a lasting luster from wash to wash. Attendants are friendly. The above mentioned points seem to be consistent from the 3 different locations I use. I see that some of the attendants rotate there. I will continue to use the service. read more

First off, I am not one to leave bad reviews. I went to the new location on Whipple. Very disappointing. Was asked when the car was done to make sure all was okay. I noticed that it had a film on my car and the windows. I was told that it was in my clear coat, it was not there when I brought it in. Then was asked when it was last waxed (was done recently) and was told that was the problem and I needed to get detail work, once again the film was not there when I brought it in. Then I asked him to please wipe down the spots of water that hadn't been dried and pop the hatch and dry because it tends to leak water if you don't. I was told he couldn't do anything about gravity. The last thing was if he could please vacuum the fabric up by the back window and was told that was an extra charge because it was the trunk. In my opinion it would be considered the trunk if you had to open the trunk to get to it. This was assessable from the back seat. All of that being said I have been to the Fulton location and have always been very satisfied. read more

Not only did I feel they had poor customer service, I paid $117 for an interior detail that I could've done for $20. You can tell they just zigzagged over my seats and missed all of my coffee stains which was the whole point of taking it somewhere. read more

Exact opposite of 1st guy. Went for an oil change and needed a new radiator after they were done. May have hometown feel, but has no knowledge or training. Put a "Universal" coolant in my truck and wound up clogging the radiator. What was a $50 oil change and wash turned into a $750 nightmare. Would never recommend them to anyone. They use inferior products and have inferior knowledge on the subject. Any competition in that little area could destroy them. read more

I go to the dads auto care on tucarawas most of the time. I like this place. Fair prices. I even talked to one of the workers. He was nice.

I was in from out-of-town and needed an oil change and car wash. Service was speedy, professional, and reasonably priced. I will definitely call on Dad's next time I'm in town and recommend them to my local family and friends! read more
