I had the misfortune of placing two orders from Dad's Printing and they screwed up both. Tl;dr: NEVER PLACE AN ORDER HERE. The backstory: I ordered three pairs of socks with cat pictures on them. When I received the order on November 10th, it was not my order (socks with dogs on them). This was obviously someone else's order. I contacted Nick at Dad's Printing immediately. I was asked to email with pictures of what I received, which I did. He promised to deal with it right away. I offered to send them back and he said don't bother, they would just reprint them. A half dozen emails back and forth later, he still had not dealt with it and I still had the wrong socks. On December 7th I gave up waiting and requested a refund; no response. Finally I reached the owner, Adam, on the phone the week before Christmas. Dad's Printing managed to rush the order to me, which I was pleasantly surprised about. The kids and I opened our socks on Christmas morning and immediately put them on. The cat faces were stretched out and unrecognizable, but the novelty was there. Three hours later, the printing on the bottom of the socks had completely worn off. They're basically garbage now. What a waste of $30. Nick also "forgot" to produce an order for over 100 custom masks. He told me the night before I had volunteers lined up to distribute the orders that somehow it hadn't made it into production. Unfortunately I had already placed my cat socks order by this time. I would NEVER encourage anyone to order from this company. They screwed up two orders, one worth several hundred dollars' worth of masks for about 40 families and Nick KNEW the deadline and that many volunteers were involved. And the products we got were cheap for a reason: they're thin and not great quality. I wouldn't order again even if the orders weren't screwed up. Avoid this place. read more

Ordered jerseys for my men's league hockey team, overall a pretty good experience. Jerseys came out very nice, were reasonably priced, , excellent customer service, and got them quickly. Overall, Joel was very responsive and helped me out. 2 complaints I have - the original jerseys I ordered and paid for were no longer available after I had paid for them, so they found me an alternate design that was very similar. Would've been nice to know this prior to paying, but the alternate jersey was very close to my original choice, so I was OK with it. Secondly, for some reason they shipped the jersey's using next day shipping, which caused the shipping price to be over triple what I was quoted. I frutratedly emailed and they were very quick to fix the issue, making this right and switching to standard shipping, which I appreciated alot. There were a few bumps on the road, but overall, I had a good experience with Dad's printing, and they had fantastic customer service. Communication could've been better on their side (they repeatedly asked for the same information that I gave them multiple times), but overall, the Jerseys came out nice and I am happy with the service. read more

After several months of silence or "I'll get back to you" from them, they ended up remaking these 82 sweaters which, once again, did not correspond to the sizes ordered : really too small. Since the beginning of December, not being satisfied, I have asked for a refund and guess what? No news from them. I'm back to posting everywhere I can that they are not a good company to do business with. I ordered a ganged sheet of 150 pieces of he same pocket logo from these folks in the summer of 2024 and requested local pickup. I paid online and did not receive any sort of receipt from them, nor did they contact me post payment to schedule pickup etc. In fact, I had to contact them a few days after the online order with a screenshot of my paypal payment to inquire how we should proceed with the printing and pickup of the DTF sheets. Although they state that orders are ready within a 24hour window, I was told I would need to wait 2-3 days. Again, after waiting for the prints to complete and for someone to contact me, neither email or phone call came. I contacted Dad's (aka DTF Vancouver) and was told I could pick up that day or beyond. As it was a late in the day I went the next day to the sketchiest alley in downtown Vancouver, and had to wait for someone to answer my phone call and come out to give me my prints, all while worried for my personal safety. Upon receipt, I noticed that the colours were not quite correct, and there was banding on all of the prints, but due the urgency of my print job, I had to accept them. When the prints were pressed, it was obvious that 10-15 (10%) of the prints were not cured properly, scratched or defective. After ruining a handful of shirts, I had to separate the good DTF prints from the irregular ones and request replacements for them. This further delayed the completion of my job. If I could, I would give Dad's/DTF Vancouver zero stars, but considering that they agreed to reprint the error prints without much fuss, I guess they have earned a portion of the single star I posted. In fact, the reprints were better than the initial prints - they had better colour, more opacity, they were properly cured and they did not have colour banding issues. This, however, caused the issue of my t-shirt order having variable artwork across the 150 shirts. I wish we could support local businesses, especially during tough economics times in a really expensive city, but Dad's has made very skeptical of gambling with small, local print shops. They had poor communication, they were unapologetic and they are generally do not give a damn about producing quality work. It's a shame, but I will likely go with Ninja Transfers or Coastal Reign in the future to avoid any disappointment in quality and to ensure I am able to meet my customer's deadlines. read more

MISSING PRINTS, WRONG DESIGN AND NO COMMUNICATIONS. INITIAL ORDER IN MARCH, STILL DEALING WITH THIS SCAMMER. I would not recommend anyone shopping with this place. They are very bad in fixing their mistakes. My Daughter ordered some sweaters for her University club, the sweaters came in a wrong style and missing logos that was proofed. They asked her to return the goods, provided her with a return label (I have attached email in this review). After numerous email communications, from April up to now, she has not received the correct order and they have stopped replying to our emails. As of now, this is a complete scam, and I will no recommend anyone ordering from this place. We have now open a dispute through our credit card provider, hopefully we can recover our money that way because Dad's Printing doesn't care. I will be adding more photos of our communications with Dad's Printing. I just don't want anyone else getting scammed of their money. If there was a zero star that would be far more ideal. Communication starts fine and they respond quickly. Once decided on items they send the bill, you pay and then it's just a scam basically. I pay on Friday for pick up the following Friday and I am assured that they will have the product ready. On Monday I ask when can I pick up. No response. Tuesday same thing. No response. Wednesday I get an email saying I need to approve the final print. I sign off right away and get confirmation all is good. THURSDAY AT 5pm (pick up is supposed to be 10am next morning) I get a call and email saying that the photo is unable to be printed because their printer can't print blue or green and in the photo I am having printed my friend is wearing a blue tshirt. They are requesting me pick a new image to be printed after closing the day before I need to pick up. I need the tshirts so I have my graphic designer friend change the shirt colours. Send it back. They say they will get started first thing in the morning and ask if I can delay to just a before noon. At this point I'm just like whatever fine 12 and I have to go on a timeline. I call at 11 and ask are they close to being ready and they say just another 30 min and all good. Arrive at 1145/12 and they say 20 min so I park in the parking lot. 20 min goes by I text asking for eta and he text me this "we are just waiting for supplies for the machine and after they arrive we will get printing" ARE YOU SERIOUS. THEY DONT EVEN HAVE THE SUPPLIES and I have been waiting 20 min in the parking lot. We watch the uber deliver the supplies. Warning: "[the mock-up] is intended solely for visual reference and does not precisely represent the actual products" - Mary A. IE. What you approve, is not what you get... I ordered two jerseys from Dad's printing and had issues with both not reflecting the approved mock-up for print release. The first jersey was a football jersey and during the design phase, we had removed the bottom bar from the jersey; however, the bottom bar appeared on the printed jerseys. On the second jersey, a pinnie, the name bar is small and below the shoulders. Not reflecting the approved mock-up that reflects a typical jersey layout. Honestly, they look pretty silly. I did have a quality control issue that Dads Printing (DP) did correct. The number on two of the pinnies had tears in the screening. This defect was not caught in their quality control; however, when i brought it to DP's attention they did reprint and replace them. Lower your expectations if using DP. In my experience, the product you design will not be the product you receive. read more

I placed an order for a pair of socks with a picture of my brother's cat on them for Christmas. They ended up sending me two pairs because the print on the first pair was skewed. I appreciated that they just sent the second pair immediately without me having to contact them. However, what I don't appreciate is being extorted into giving them a 5-star review for a free pair of socks months later. Originally, I was going to take them up on this offer, but after seeing the MANY low-star reviews with legitimate claims of poor business from Dad's I've decided to publicly shame them for their thinly veiled attempt at trying to save face. Surprised to see so many 1 star reviews here. I have used Dad's twice and both experiences have been largely positive. The first order was a rush job to make several dozen t-shirts for a bachelor party I was organizing. Adam and co. made the deadline and charged me a fair price. My second order was slightly less smooth, which is why I'm giving them 4 stars in total. They missed the deadline by about 5 days, and there was a slight payment issue that was eventually rectified. However, I felt I had to take the lead and advocate for myself and follow-up on both issues. Not a major problem, but if I was a business I would be annoyed. That said, the quality of the merchandise is good and I find their pricing quite affordable for the small batch production I need. I plan on using their services again but do so knowing they may not be as communicative or prompt as I would like and will have to adjust accordingly. On a personal note, they all seem quite nice and I am inclined to support independent printers if possible. read more

Terrible - Buyer Beware!!! Please read: The Founder & CEO, Adam Lando was very eager to work with us. When we initially inquired, he reached out immediately with a quote, provided competitive pricing which we were grateful for and excited for the opportunity to pursue a potential ongoing working relationship with them. They very promptly took our order and payment in full, promising a completion date of May 1 as our client base was waiting for these items. Days after we paid for the order, we received a proof - we replied saying that the proof was incorrect and advised them NOT to print the goods without approval. We sent mock images of what the apparel should look like, as well as proper files, and requested a second proof. They did not dignify us with a response to any of our emails - instead, they sent us an email saying that our order was ready for pick up. Confused and curious, we headed to their location to see our products with the hopes that perhaps they just are poor at replying to emails and maybe they printed these products properly. Unfortunately that wasn't the case - the items were ALL printed incorrectly. They were missing a white border/outline, they were inverted, blurry and crooked. We aren't even yet talking about the poor quality of the print. We dealt with Adam's team while he was on speaker phone, rudely addressing his staff for the error. They assured us that they were going to reprint all products with a turnaround time of 1-2 days. We accepted this in efforts of working with them. Days went by with no word. We would reach out via email and phone. Left multiple voicemails for Adam and his team. Adam who was so eager to work with us would screen our calls and had never taken our calls again - he simply pawns everything off onto his staff. Adam finally reached out via email, not apologizing for the error on their part yet instead asking us to buy the incorrect product because he would be out of pocket for this and it would end up in a "recycling plant". At that point, we even agreed to purchase at cost to try and help him out - yet what did we get in return? No response. Weeks went by where they finally told us that our order was being shipped to our address. First, they sent the wrong address to UPS and ignored our emails when we immediately reached out. Luck was on their side that it was delivered to our address except when we opened it, it wasn't even our order! They shipped us someone else's order. At this point it is almost comical - yet of course, Adam won't return a phone call or email even at this point. Days go by and we finally receive our "re-print" which in fact was not a reprint. They used the incorrect product and added a white box that resembles white out tape on top. Not only did they attempt to cover up this error with a less expensive form of printing, the colour is different, none of the boxes are lined up on the garments, each piece is crooked and the print is blurry. We have attempted to reach out for days since and have requested a full refund yet of course, but Adam will not speak to us. He pawns it off on his staff and they have simply said he doesn't want to talk to us. Please do not do business with this con-man. You will get ripped off, whether by poor workmanship, or by receiving items you cannot use, as we did. And a massive headache. I ordered and paid for 12 new felts for my poker tables in early July 2022 and was given a turn-around time of less than 7 business days. When the first delivery date came and passed I called sales and found out that production had not even started. Here we are 2 and 1/2 months later and production is still not done despite several promises made by the sales and production staff. My story goes we wanted to make some shirts for our crew this spring for a series of events, we ordered early in the year and they were backlogged and i was flexible. I placed the order and sent in 1 of the 2 graphics and told them the second one would be done in a week or so, then i got an email saying my order was in production, i told them we had not finished the artwork yet please verify and send proofs, they sent proofs with the wrong images, so we sent the updated images. Then we get told it is shipping and we again ask them to hold off and verify the artwork. Then one day i am not at work and a ups comes by, i told them to return the package as we had not gotten proofs yet and do not know what was being sent. Well now i get a flurry of emails asking why i rejected the package. All of which i respond to and then again, nothing. Many calls all go to voicemail, i start a chargeback and they say they were delivered and i must return them for a refund, i have no shirts to return. I don't like to leave bad reviews but I've spent over $4350 for this batch of tees and none have been returned as promised. I called the BC registry as well as the Vancouver Licensing office and they do not have any company information with the name Dad's Printing, the owner's name or this company address. The licensing office is now investigating. I am currently in the process of taking legal action against this company/individual. My experience: I had an incredibly negative experience with this company/individual. I paid their invoice in full in November and now after over 4 months of waiting I am still trying to get some customer service. I sent in 420 brand new premium shirts to get screen printed and have neck labels heat transferred on the inside of the shirts. They damaged around 127 shirts by trial and error trying to put on neck labels. On their site they say they use scraps for testing but clearly that's not the case. I currently have some of my damaged shirts back but not all as some were not returned to me. More than 120 shirts are completely damaged form acetone chemicals with stains, hardened feel and faded color. These shirts are now complete garbage. Of the shirts I do have, the screen printing done was completely amateur with issues like fibrillation (grainy paint feel), inaccurate coloring (a white logo looking pink on a red shirt), crooked logos and these too I am not able to sell. NOT ONE of the 420 shirts was returned to me with a front logo and neck tag as agreed and so I do not have a single shirt ready to sell after more than 4 months. Some of the white shirts were not returned to me for who knows what reason. My business has been interrupted and incurred monetary losses due to hiring Dad's Printing (if it's even a company). read more

It was incomplete, I asked for a refund for the shirts I never received, obviously I did not receive any answer nor refund. They charged me for shipping on my credit card WITHOUT my permission, after I had ask twice what the shipping cost would be months before (no answer obviously). Was looking to have masks made with my company logo on them. I had contact them for an estimate. Sales person was very helpful and process was simple. The finished product once arrived, was very poor. The masks themselves are very poor design (large, and no shape to them) The Logo printing was blurry, and the colours were running/blended. I will end up throwing them away, as I wouldnt pass these out to customers or clients, as it would be a poor representation of my brand. I contacted them to voice my displeasure, and they really weren't interested in doing anything to help me. My order #7491 (paid in full upfront) was delivered two weeks later then my guaranteed delivery date (almost a month ago now) with almost half of my order MISSING. Was assured all designs would work and would be completed in a timely manor (ordered February 20th 2022) was told arrival of the first delivery around the 3rd week of March 2022, it is the end of august and I have received 10% of my order and it is wrong, I sent back hoodies that were printed in the wrong Color and was supposed to match strings and stitch, hats that have patches on crooked, double and triple sewn damaging patches and items I expect from the dollar store not a printing company. Yesterday the owner (Adam Lando) blocked my phone number after trying to call him because my order manager is no longer with the company and has no idea what my order is doing. After numerous emails/voicemails, I spoke with a human, accidentally, who was in the accounting dept who offered to email her bosses as to my situation, which was when I got my first response from Adam Lando. He offered to reship, expedited for a small cost. I said fine, as this was now over 2 months. I then received notice that a new mask was shipped, and I will be receiving it in 13 days. As summer sports season is ramping up, I wanted to share my experience from last year. They were great at getting my softball team's business, really open and promised the world. Then came time to do the work... Well, on June 9th, they said an order in 2 weeks was no problem. So, after two weeks I followed up and was told they couldn't get the shirts done until July 6th. Well, I followed up again on July 6th and sure enough they were not ready. And then they asked pretty basic questions about the shirts (size, colour) so it was clear they hadn't started yet. At this point, another rep from Dad's reached out and assured me I could pick up the shirts on the 9th. Then the first rep was flustered in their emails and started giving strange excuses as to why this was not possible, despite the shop being ostensibly located in Vancouver. I never got a straight/honest answer about that, but when they sent the package it had come in from Kelowna. Just an awful experience where trusting Adam, Ethan and the rest of Dad's gang meant that our team didn't have jerseys for about half the season. read more

They're not even worth one star! If you are intending to use Dad's Printing for anything they advertise they can do for you, I earnestly suggest you RUN IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AS FAST AS YOU CAN, before you end up - by their own singular refusal to refund deposits, and not delivering the specified products on time, in any way according to specified quality - thus letting down all the people who had innocently trusted Dad's Printing to honor the contract.
