A very typical Korean Bbq restaurant. Had the fire pit set in the middle of the table. Service was good. The iPad is easy to order from and the food came out quickly. The meat was good and all orders were delicious. I wish they had more Korean side dishes because it was not as many as would normally get.

This place is okay. We chose the $50 AYCE option. They offered a great variety of meats, but the grill was small and took longer to cook compared to other KBBQs, which was disappointing. There were plenty of sides to choose from, and I especially liked the cheese corn. However, the black bean noodle lacked flavor. The service was a bit slow, and the food is on the pricier side. If you're in the mood for some music after eating, they have karaoke rooms available.

My colleague and I wanted to catch up and I suggested this place as recently won a $50 gift card there. My friend wanted to do AYCE and we actually got there with 10 minutes to spare for their Happy Hour. We decided on the more expensive Happy Hour AYCE option ($37.99/person). The servers were really friendly and joked with us. Service was prompt and with smiles all around. AYCE seating time is supposed to be limited to 90 minutes but they let us stay for 2 hours on a Friday, which was really nice. The ordering time is a hour but they wrote down for us our ordering time window, which was really nice. Menu is mainly limited to pork and the cuts of pork wasn't the best but everything else was fresh and pretty good quality for AYCE. The grill was interesting- when it's on it works great but once you turn it off, it's hard to turn it back on. With my $50 winning, the bill came to $29.95 including tax but no tip. I thought it was very generous and kind of them to let us apply the $50 winning towards a Happy Hour menu so made sure to tip them quite generously. Cute joint with good friendly service and decent AYCE at a great Downtown address. I can see why this place is so busy. Pro tip: If you leave them a 5 star Google review and show them before you get your bill, they will give you a 10% off!

Went as a group of 4 over the weekend - we tried AYCE MENU B $42.99/PERSON - Didn't take too many pictures as we were just starving - the meat quality is definitely worth it - Steak Spice, Green Tea, Lemon Pepper, and Spicy were probably my favorites :) The Tuna Torch Sushi was heavenly as well as the pancake - They lost a star for me due to service - they were not the most attentive, and it honestly was not super busy at the time we were there - felt like it toke ages for us to get refills on water. Also , they did not give us a last call reminder - as they have a 1.5 Hour ordering window - so when we handed in our sheet for our last order they said we were too late - it would of been nice if they mentioned something... also our late was apparently two minutes LOL....so hearing you missed the cutoff by two minutes and still putting in an automatic 15% tip was kind of a joke - Food was good - not sure if I'd visit again - maybe if we had an alarm or just ordered more at the beginning - but yeah service was questionable -

We were craving Korean bbq and stumbled into this place. This was such a great find. We order Combo Beef B that feeds 3, there were 4 of us and we ate all of it. Service was great and fast. Thank you for all the hard working people who provided us all the food and refills on sides. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants bbq. Parking I believe is free in their parking garage but we found street parking. Amazing!

Great KBBQ in Vancouver. Food is reasonably priced and good quality. We really liked the sides especially the cucumber salad, potatoes, and bean sprouts. The service was good and we were seated right away since we got there at 6:15pm on a Monday evening. The restaurant was clean and while the grills are not as hot as some other kbbq places I've been, the server did recommend using the edges which were definitely hotter. I do think they could stand to get grills that are hotter but the heat was definitely not as much of an issue as we anticipated based on other reviews.

Pretty disappointing. Service was dreadfully slow starting off but it got better. Overpriced for the food you get. I get that's it's in the heart of downtown Vancouver, but there's a part of me where I think the money could have been better spent elsewhere. The meat was average quality and the side dishes were nothing to write home about. On the bright side, it did fit our group of 8 people and did get enough to eat. I'd put an asterisk next to the AYCE because they do put some limitations on how much mean you can order which i believe was like 10 pieces per person each round and you only had 3 rounds, but it was still just enough.

Beef Ribs are marinated just right! Meat is tender, flavourful and very juicy!

Came in on a Wednesday night, lucky to find a metered parking right outside the restaurant! Not busy at all as there were only 2 other tables at the time when we arrive, we were promptly seated after we use our cellphone to register our info. for Covid purposes, glad they are doing this! Also noticed that all the tables are spaced apart and has partitions! Menu is also electronic but maybe their system is down or something, we tried and with the help of our server still can't open it, oh well, that's high tech sometimes! After we received our "real" menu, we decided to try out their top 3 popular meats: Beef Ribs, Ox Tongue & Pork Belly, our server Moon has been wonderful and very helpful, he also explained to us how some items compares to others etc. I have to say the Beef Rib is a must order when you come! The marinate is just right, not too sweet or salty! The marbling is well balanced, hence the natural tenderness! We loved it so much that we ordered a second! Ox tongue were ok, if they were sliced a bit thicker, also love their Pork Belly, as you can tell they do use high quality meat, they all have a natural sweetness even the pork has no seasoning at all! Just sprinkle a bit of the salt they provide and its already perfection! BBQ meals comes with: side dishes ( replenishable ), japchae, seafood pancake, savoury steamed custard. We were told if you wish rice it is $2.00 each and it comes with a bean paste soup. Overall experience was great, as service were very attentive and especially our Server "Moon" made the evening more enjoyable!

We walked in with 5 people and no reservation, but were able to get seated immediately in one of their large tables in the middle. Between the 5 of us we ordered the bossam, spicy galbijjim, seafood pancake, and stir fried tteokbokki. This was more than enough food for us. They also gave a few banchan and bowls of rice. The bossam and seafood pancake were stellar - probably the best bossam I have ever had tbh! The meat was so tender yet flavorful and the sides made the perfect wrap. The seafood pancake was extraordinarily crispy and delicious with the sauce. While the galbijjim was good too, I was expecting the short ribs not the large back ribs. The tteokkbokki was just average. Definitely worth a stop!

Highlights for me were the seafood pancake--thick, crispy, and loaded with seafood--and the bossam, which was delicious with all the proper accompaniments. The japchae was my favorite: chewy and not overly sweet, which is refreshing compared to many Korean restaurants in NYC. The dumplings were good but fairly standard, nothing standout. We also had mackerel, which looked good, and the tteokbokki came with beef, which the kids loved. Despite all the food, my son only ate white rice--sigh. Service was very kind and attentive. They brought kids' plates and utensils without us even asking. Would definitely come back.

They answered all my questions and offered recommendations, and were very welcoming. Nam San seems to be very popular for their Soondae (blood sausage). However, I've never really tried Soondae before and I was feeling nauseous on the day of my visit--so I opted for something more mild and less "adventurous" instead. I will definitely be back to try their Soondae next time though. Daeji Gukbap 10/10 This boiled bowl of stew was exactly what my upset tummy needed. The creamy broth warmed me right up and soothed my stomach so well. It was the only thing I was able to keep down in two days. There was also a generous amount of tender and flavourful pork inside. This bowl of stew honestly reminded me so much of the one we tried in Busan. Definitely recommend it to anyone who likes stews. There was no gaminess at all, and yet the soup was still so full of flavour. Absolutely delicious. One of the three…read moreremaining stalls in the Robson Public Market food court, Nam San specializes in pork offal and homemade Korean blood sausage (soondae), incorporated into a variety of dishes. I always order the same thing, a mixed pork offal and soondae soup. You can choose the spiciness level when you order but they also offer red pepper flakes and fish sauce on the side to add to taste. It comes in small and large, with a side of pickled radish, roasted seaweed, and white rice. Even with the small, you get a lot of meat in the hot stone bowl and it is so comforting. The offal is super tender but the star here is definitely the soondae. Pork blood and vermicelli with spices are encased in an intestine casing, making for a unique springy texture. It's even more tasty when you dip into their homemade fish sauce and the stew warms you to the bone. I love supporting small mom and pop shops, and with how tucked away this place is on the busy Robson strip, I'll definitely make an effort to frequent them time and time again.
