Awesome place! Cool setting, uniquely decorated! Food was awesome! I had something like a shredded pork, maybe beef empanadas!!! Ohhh my gosh- so so good! The chips and salsa was really good too. Sometimes they're just that - chips and salsa. But by something about these were delicious! Lots of seating inside and outside too.

We are staying in Sioux Falls for the weekend and this was across from our hotel so we stopped in for happy hour. I'm so glad we did! They have amazing happy hour specials that are hard to find now a days! The margarita was very authentic tasting. We ordered the gringo nachos and the waiter accidentally put in the gringo tacos so he gave them to us on the house! The tacos were amazing. Crunchy house fried shells, crema, perfectly seasoned taco meat. The nachos were pretty darn good too and I loved the chips and salsa! This will definitely be a place we recommend and stop in at when we are in the area!

Beautiful New Mexican restaurant in Steel District. When arriving, I loved the ambience. It was upbeat, impressive, busy and service was fast. I visited Dahlia with friends to try out their items. We were seated and served chips and salsa. The salsa was good but they went a little over with the cumin. For drinks we ordered hummingbird, the dahlia and a spicy margarita called "cheech." These margaritas were strong! I ordered the street corn birria burger from the burger battle, it was delicious. The birria was well cooked in the right seasonings, the street corn had amazing taste to it and has a creamy/cheesy texture which made this an amazing burger. This burger was served with a side of consome and fries. I hope they permanently keep this on their menu. I would come back for this burger. Our waiter was attentive and polite. We asked for a dessert menu, they didn't have one but did vocally tell us our options. We ordered churros to share and these were not my favorite. Churros had a citrus-y flavor, perhaps orange zest in the dough. They weren't soft inside and crispy on the outside. The chocolate dip had 'mole', from what we were told. I love mole but I don't think this was a good twist to it. The chocolate dip was watery, didn't stick to our churros. I'd suggest a traditional dip like cajeta or thickening the chocolate a bit more. Overall I liked the restaurant, the art, architecture and ambience was fun. There was a DJ after 9pm on Saturday night. I will be coming back to try other items from their menu. So far it was a good first impression. Welcome to Sioux Falls!

Tried this place twice, once for lunch and enjoyed the Ancho Rubbed Ribeye tacos. I requested a Skinny Margarita with the least amount of sugar ingredients but it did disappoint as you can see the difference in color (photos) and taste. The chips and salsa were complimentary and very good. The evening meal we had was at the bar and I explained once again about the Skinny Margarita I wanted and as you can tell by the photo it was spot on. The evening bartender was excellent. The Queso Fundido was smokey and rich. The Short Rib Birria was fork tender and delicious. I would give it 4.5 stars and definitely return.

During a recent stay in Sioux Falls we decided to try "Dahlia," a new "Mexican" restaurant next to the Canopy Hotel in the "Steelworks District (or whatever it's called)" in the quickly renovating downtown area. The venue is huge and the décor is trendy and sort of avantgarde at the same time. We went on a Monday night and the place was pretty empty - it prompted the question in my mind of "how will they survive?" given the expansiveness of the restaurant. The portions were huge - in typical midwestern fashion. We ordered the nachos, and I wish we hadn't as they were enormous and just had too much going on. As the menu indicates, there is a bunch of "different meats" on it, and the dish overall just feels lazy - it could be good, but the way it's executed it makes it just a pile of food. We ordered the "gringo" tacos as well as the fish tacos - none of which are in a corn tortilla (flour tortillas - I should note that while nothing is authentic, they could at least offer a choice of tortilla). The tacos could have been OK, but they lacked any flavor or spice and desperately needed a flavorful salsa which there was none. We shared the short rib birria which also could have been good (noticing a theme?), but it didn't taste fresh -rather I think everything is pre-made and they just reheated it as it came out really really quickly (too quickly). Overall, service was good, but the food was really disappointing - at least to someone who knows good Mexican food. While I wasn't expecting super authentic Mexican cuisine, it still should have been better for something that is trying to essentially be "upscale fusion Mexican (my words, not theirs)."

Dropped in for a Saturday afternoon late lunch with three of us. Two orders of Shrimp Tacos with a delicious Mango salsa, Beef Tacos were less spicy but delicious as well. The house guacamole had a nice flavor. The dessert Tres Leches was exceptionally moist and flavorful. Great service and reasonably priced.

I went to Dahlia's to celebrate my future sister in laws birthday and to tell you the truth this place was a vibe. There was a DJ playing some chill music and it really set the tone. The outside is beautiful but we decided to stay inside for our meal which has a beautiful tone to it! The food was great and the service was fantastic! This is a great place to go if you want to go somewhere nice but not overly pricey! I had the Ceviche tacos which were delicious but it could use a little bit more flavor but it still hit the spot. The nachos were huge so you will definitely get your moneys worth. The drinks were awesome too and I highly recommend the margaritas! Overall I would give this place a 4.3

Great lunch spot! Prices were more than fair for a higher end lunch spot. Food was great. Ambiance was fun and different.

Their Burger Battle Burger was a home run. Very tasty and the service was superb. We will be back to try some of the tacos soon.

The menu seems to be delicious, and honestly something Sioux Falls needs. I have always craved a salad place and it is nice to have the option now! The parking can be difficult. The North side of the building now has signage that dictates not to park there due to tenants. It was busy, so we had to park a ways away and cross the road. The difficult part about dining here is the table space as the dining room is shared by other businesses. We were able to find a table, but it can be difficult if busy.

Best part besides on settling on BROSIA BOWL to try for the first time, was only seeing adults roaming about, and no loud children. I will definitely return. I ordered the very filling Fatija Bowl...when i was ready to pay, i sort of felt like the $16.95 total, after adding on the avocado slices, was high in price. That, is, until i brought it home. The enormous amount of high quality of food that was generously piled high and deep. I finished the amazing bowl of rice, chicken and great crunch of large cilantro stems, truly brought the dish together. 5 STAR REVIEW for stumbling upon this ah-maze-ball restaurant. And the two women workers were brilliantly kind in helping me decide what to order.

One look at the menu was an epiphany... a rare, if not the only, time I could not find a single item I didn't want to order. The ambience is rustic central plains frontier. March 2026 Sioux…read moreFalls, South Dakota This place has a beautiful ambience. You enter and there is a warm and welcoming fireplace to the right when you enter. Straight ahead by a large open bar, you can see the meat on the rotisserie. Restaurant is large and cozy. Dark woods, modern lighting, many booths with ample seating. Floors are concrete and many nature pictures line the walls. This place has everything from handheld sandwiches to salmon and rotisserie chicken, a broad selection of appetizers and soups and salad salads. I ordered a Guinness draft and it came in a very large glass. Many tap beers to choose from. We ordered the woodfired chicken wings, a rotisserie chicken, which is accompanied with mashed potatoes and cornbread, and my husband also ordered a cup of corn chowder. The chicken wings I thought were delicious. The flavor is smoky and pepper. Not your traditional wing, but it includes the drumstick and the wing. You get six in total. It comes with blue cheese and ranch. My husband did not care for the wings. He thought they had too much of a pepper taste. My only concern was they were not served hot. They were barely warm when they got to my table. The blue cheese dressing was basically ranch dressing with a few dry blue cheese crumbles mixed in. Not a good flavor. The corn chowder was very mushy. It had the texture of baby food. He did not enjoy it. It also was served warm and not hot. Rotisserie chicken comes out with a thigh and drumstick of dark meat and white meat. However, the chicken is very dry. Taste like rotisserie chicken should taste But nothing special. The mashed potatoes are not creamy. But clumpy. They are red skin and I love when the skin is left on the potatoes. However, they taste like a baked Redskin potato with no salt, pepper, or butter. Flavorless. The cornbread has good flavor. But again, try. There is no butter to accompany it. Might taste good with some honey or butter on the side. I love the look and coziness of the restaurant. I wanted it to be fantastic. I was extremely disappointed in the food. I tried to make it work, but with the cold food and the lack of flavor, it was a big miss. When you take a bite of rotisserie chicken, and then you need to take a drink before taking your next bite of food, you know it is dry. When in Rome do as the Romans do. When in Sioux Falls Falls do not ROAM to this restaurant. I would not come back to this restaurant. I would give it 2 stars for the food. However, Darla was our waitress and she was very kind and attentive. She gets a five star rating. But the good service does not balance out the awful food.
