Wish I had found this place earlier in my trip so I could have come back again. Rachel was behind the bar and she was super busy when we first sat down. I'll be honest, I wasn't sure how the service was going to go. It was a little slow at first. But as the rush lightened up, she was awesome. Attentive, friendly, took great care of us. Sometimes you just have to be patient when a bartender is slammed, and Rachel proved it was worth the wait. The walleye was amazing. Fresh, perfectly cooked, exactly what you want when you're ordering fish. And the Moscow mules? Also amazing. Well made, refreshing, the kind of cocktail that keeps you ordering another round. This is the kind of spot you stumble into and immediately regret not finding sooner. Great food, great drinks, great service once things settled down. Real hidden gem! I ordered the strip steak and it was a perfectly prepared medium rare. Had a bottle of Cabernet with dinner for the table and it was very good. My wife and I have been to 22Ten many times, but tonight was a huge disappointment. Her French chicken was not good. The carrots were large and flavorless. My Cajun pasta was more like soup. The sauce was thin and watery. I was supposed to have a blackened chicken breast on it, but I got what looked and tasted like boiled chicken. Both the quality of their ingredients and their meal preparation have fallen. This combination yields inconsistency. And inconsistency drives customers away. The staff was so attentive and friendly, we had a tall gentleman, even though the place was packed, we never went without a refill. The vibe and atmosphere in this place, while really busy and crowded was still great... it seemed very clean and elegant. Wanting to avoid Valentines day crowds and madness, the wife and I celebrate a day early. We made reservations at 22ten and gave it a whirl. Off the start, they lost our reservation bit they didn't hesitate and seated us after I showed them my online confirmation. No harm no foul. We ordered New Orleans cakes and Margaritas to start. Then Pork Marsala and Creole Jambalaya for entrees. The New Orleans crab cakes were super delish. Nice spiciness on the back end. Reminded me of crab cakes I've had on Bourbon street. The Margaritas for $8 were stiff as a corpse. The Creole Jambalaya was really good but to my surprise, no spicyness at all. I like to sweat when I order Jambalaya. Specially when it has andouille sausage in it. Aside from no spice, it was superb. My wife got Pork Marsala with pearl onions. I can't even describe the deliciousness of this dish. Unbelievable. For dessert we ordered bread pudding and a 2nd round of Margaritas. Every bread pudding I have ever eaten was a yellow bread. This was a dark pumpernickel type bread. It was so good I wanted to lick the plate. Our waiter Josh was quiet at first but I got him to open up and he has some personality on him. Fun waiter. Genuine person for sure. I really have no complaints. I wasn't sure why the menu stated Margaritas were $7 but our bill showed $8. Other than that, with a nice 25% tip, our bill was only $130! Best deal in town for the quality and overall experience. I actually think their dishes are underpriced. My favorite restaurant in Sioux Falls was Granite City. Till now, this place is my new #1. Atmosphere to drinks to food was top notch. Definitely coming back for the Chislic and Elk Ravioli. If you're reading this and in Sioux Falls, go to 22Ten. I'll put this on my "must go" list if you find yourself in Sioux Falls! I was a little apprehensive in ordering their Pancit on their signature menu especially with the ponzu sauce, since I haven't had this type of twist on this traditional Filipino dish. However, I was pleasantly surprised and really liked that the sweeter flavor of it. Their Spinach Chevre & Fennel salad as well as the Grilled Salmon were as equally good...and can't go wrong with those choices. As for the dessert, I highly recommend their Churro Waffle. I've been here a few times (twice to-go and once dine in). All three times, I ordered the steak tips and pirogies. It comes with au jus and some sort of ranch. Very delicious. Each time the steak is cooked well and the pirogies are also cooked perfectly - almost like butter. When I dined in, I got the Brussels and artichoke dip - sooo good. We practically tried to scrape the bowl! And we got the mussels which were good but average. I've also gotten the churro waffle. It comes with a strawberry syrup and a little scoop of ice cream. The to-go version was okay but I bet getting it at the restaurant is great!! When I dined in, our waitress was amazing. Quick to fill our waters and very personable. The to-go is a little tough to get someone to answer the phone and their online ordering app partnership is not the most user friendly. The last time - I called 4 times before someone answered but it was acknowledged which was nice to know. When I got there - the place was jammed packed and it was a Thursday! The food was good enough to just get a quick dinner. I felt the mac & cheese with meat was a bit too salty for my taste and it had penne pasta instead of mac. Was in town for work and came here twice in one day. For lunch, I wasn't super hungry, so I got the chili shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was super crispy and there was plenty of it. The chili sauce and pepper slaw were great flavors to go with the shrimp. For dinner, I got the steak frites. The steak was perfectly cooked with a lot of pepper on it and some gravy. There were also a lot of thin fries, which I love. There was also a horseradish sauce drizzled on top of both the steak and fries and it turned the dish to another level. I stayed extra long because I wanted to finish the whole plate and soak the fries in that sauce. Amazing. I also got a white sangria to go along with dinner and it was nice and light. The chicken was perfectly prepared and extremely juicy. The carrots were a fabulous texture and flavorful. I wasn't a fan of the garlic potatoes, they were more pepper than garlic, but creamy texture. The asparagus was a bit more charred than I would have liked. Great cherry Coke and happy they have Coke products!! I'm a georgia girl- Coke is not the same as Pepsi. Had a great experience! Give them a try. My fiancee and I each had the best meal either of us have ever had in Sioux Falls, upon our sole visit thus far to this establishment. We both really enjoyed the Baked Brie. I had several choices...but amongst something called a "brutus" salad, and a sort of Moroccan beef stew, I went with BOTH. I liked the stew, and highly recommend the brutus. I had one of the top five steaks of my life. It was their regular, 8-ounce strip, and I requested it be cooked rare (which was clearly the right call.) I had the Bananas Foster for dessert, and it was MAGNIFICENT. She loved her entree (I forget what it was), and also really enjoyed her Churro Waffle. They have some good local/regional beers, and she reports their Bloody Mary was excellent. Our server was delightful. This place is a little too pricy to be our regular thing, but we will look forward keenly to periodic future visits. read more

Stopped here on a Saturday for lunch. This is located at the end of a strip mall. The space is modern and comfortable. We booked on Open Table and got seated immediately. The waiter, Derek, got us water and offered drinks immediately. We ordered the chicken sandwich that came with fries. The food came out fast, was hot and tasted great. Derek did a great job refilling water and checking in with us. We ordered the chocolate cake for desert with coffee. It was a nice combination. Overall this place is easily five star.
