I've been coming here for about a year now a couple times a week. The Asian lady is always working the front cashier. She's a sweet lady. Very nice. I like her. She always sees me and remembers what I order everytime. Before I can even open my mouth, she's already asking if I want the cinnamon roll. And I nod yes everytime. But this time, I didn't see the wife anywhere. It was only the man, I assume is the husband. And when I asked for the cinnamon roll, he starts talking really fast. telling me it's not ready yet But he suggests the apple fritter. I don't like those. I say no. Then he says, okay then I don't know, make up your mind already!!" And throws his hands in the air, (as in if I give up!) and storms off to the back of the kitchen. He returns and I ask for the croissant Breakfeast sandwich. Then I ask for donut holes. I try a bite and it's old. It's not good. It's not what someone would expect at a donut shop at 6am. I asked him, " are these from yesterday?!" He says "no, from earlier." I said from earlier when ? You just opened the shop up 30 minutes ago?! He's talking very fast and throwing his hands in the air, the customer standing next to me laughs like he was agreeing with me. I said " no thanks, I didn't come here to buy old donuts. Don't lie to me. I know what fresh donuts taste like and it's definitely not this!!" He said ok so u want to wait? I said how long? He said never mind I give u refund. $.75 charge per transaction though. I refund you the full amount and charge u for the croissant by itself ok? I said no. So ur gonna charge me $.75 each transaction? Just refund me for the donut holes that it. He said no, I refund u for everything. And charge u for croissant only. I said no that's extra transactions that's unnecessary and ur gona charge me $.75 for each transaction. No I said. He said u know im just gonna refund u for everything and just leave, and never come back." I stood there dumbfounded like uhhhh, homie ur the one trying to insult and deceive your loyal customers with day old donuts and trick them. And the whole refund and transaction fees also blew my mind. And to top it all off, for you to have the audacity to tell me not to come back? Pfffffffff worse service ever. Dude belongs in the kitchen where he should be. He just lost my business and my friends and family business. Bring the lady back. She did a great job doing customer service. A very stale 3 stars. One of my donuts, a chocolate twist was pretty good. Nothing extraordinary but good for the $1.10 price which is 40 cents less than most places are charging for a donut these days. The other donut I had was the chocolate old fashioned. Old fashioned was the perfect thing to call it because it must have been sitting there for a day or two. It was a hard and dry donut. Dunking in in coffee couldn't even bring any softness back to it. I've had biscotti that were softer. I don't like to write negative reviews during COVID because any place open is barely hanging in there. Still, donuts are a treat, and people work hard for their money. You should provide a decent donut. Mark the stale donuts half price, or better yet, don't sell stale donuts at all. People will come back for fresh donuts, but not for stale donuts. The person who helped me was friendly. They also sell drinks and sandwiches. Parking is easy. read more

If I can give a one star, I would. I just walked out of this establishment due to the rude woman behind the counter. As soon as I walked in I had to wait and after waiting a few minutes, she came by and said "I told you I will be right there" "I screamed at you to hold on". How am I suppose to know this with the sound and noice she was making in the back? Then she kept arguing with me that she is busy like that is my problem! Lol When I was inquiring about the drinks, she was short and rude and told me if I wanted specific drinks, to go to Starbucks. At that point I left as I refuse to waste my money on local establishments that will treat customers that way. I was there on 1/21/23 @4;00pm. While I don't expect a 5 star restaurant approach, at least don't take out your frustrations with the customers. I will UBER a drink to me since I am at the park waiting. couldn't really understand the man's heavy accent but this place was open during my doughnut craving on my drive home at 9:15pm. we got: 1. 12 doughnut holes ($1.25) - good, basic 2. a butterfly crunch thing ($1.25) - tasted like cinnamon buns without the icing :) this was huge and pulled apart into 4 little rolls, see pic 3. 1 glazed old fashion doughnut ($0.75) - not too sweet, great texture, made me happy they have all the basic doughnuts, nothing super fancy, doughnuts were tasty and surprisingly not stale at all this late at night read more

I have been living in Harvard Heights for about 3 years now. I am not a huge fan of donuts usually but once in a while I get a craving and my daughters will also ask me from time to time. There are quite a bit of donut places around me and I wanted to stay local and figured, one of the places should be good. Glad I checked this place out. What I can say that it is a very clean place to have a good coffee, donuts, bagels, sandwiches, croissants, tortas, ice cream, desserts, beverages, boba, iced tea, cheese cake, breakfasts... etc etc etc. They have in the wall a huge selection of sandwiches and bagels and more to choose from. This little place got everything, and the price is very affordable. They have little seats where you can enjoy a coffee with a delicious croissant. All donuts here are fresh, and once again you can see how well protected they have the food and bread, everything looks good. The owner and the helpers are very nice, and they are friendly to help you since very early in the morning to late night dinner. I live very near from this place and it deserves 5 star. Heartless. I was nearby the Daily Donut when I cut my thumb a little while helping a stranger. It was a warm day, and I thought I'd stop by the Daily Donut to clean up and cool off with an ice cream. Wrong Choice! I ducked into the Daily Donut, let the manager, Edah, know what had happened, and asked to use the sink to her right. She looked denied that there was any sink to her right. When I pointed to the sink, she started to get really...well, eccentric. She told me she wasn't allowed to allow anybody near that sink, "boss' orders". So I asked if she could bring me some: 1. Soap and Water. 2. Hand Sanitizer. 3. Any other antibacterial liquid. I was rebuffed each time, and eventually able to negotiate for: 1 dry napkin 1 wet napkin Absolutely Heartless. read more

Bomb Ice Coffee and croissants. Great service by the typical Asian owner behind the counter.....Hmmmm, why is that? I never see Asians eating donuts but they own them! Go figure:) Anyway it's a great hole in the wall place if ur craving a dirty but delicious donut but they do have a large food menu of other items so give this place a try. The parking may be tricky because its a small area but don't let it scare u away. I'm trying their hot wings next time. Oh and they do take phone orders as well. This is a hole in the wall that you would more than likely never look twice at unless you are on your lunch hour and had nothing to eat. That's exactly what happened to me. I work in the same plaza and I tried their tuna on croissant by necessity. I am that guy that had nothing else to eat. I was actually quite pleased with how everything came together in that sandwich. For me, the breakfast burrito is nothing less than the shit. Not shit, but THEE shit. It's awesome in all it's tasty glory. Best tasting donuts around! Dunkin Donuts is right down the street---so is Winchell's, I make an extra few steps just to go to Daily Donuts. The only yummy tasting donut I found around here. The others taste like plastic and I'm serious. Daily never has hard or old donuts. Very rude workers. Terrible customer service. I asked them to make me a smoothie and it was just water with a little juice. I asked him to re make it and he said it was my fault because I was holding it and it melted. I asked to speak to someone else and hit lied to me saying no one else was there when I clearly saw someone else in there. It would have costed him nothing to make me the drink again, and I paid 6$ for it. The food is not worth the headache. read more
