When I got to my destination, everyone was very impressed with the donuts of how fresh, fluffy and delicious they were. I've taken other sweets and donuts from a very famous donut shop in downtown. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt this was necessary. This review is not about the food or customer service in general--the food is good, and the staff is always very nice. I've been a regular customer for over a year, coming in about 3-4 times a week. Recently, though, there have been some consistency and communication issues. For example, I've been charged different prices for the exact same order by different staff members (including the owner and other employees). After it happened multiple times, I mentioned it to one of the employees, who apologized and said it wouldn't happen again. Another issue is the wait time. Whenever I call in my order ahead--usually 20 minutes in advance--I'm consistently told it will be ready in 10-15 minutes. However, when I arrive, it's often not ready, and I still have to wait an additional 5-10 minutes. I understand mornings can be busy, and delays happen, but I would really appreciate more accurate and honest time estimates. Today, I called in my order 22 minutes ahead. When I arrived, it still wasn't ready, and I was told it would take another 10-12 minutes. At that point, I had to leave. In total, it would have been over 30 minutes for a bagel with egg and cheese and a glazed donut. My main concern is communication. I value honesty, especially when I'm on a schedule. I hope this feedback helps improve consistency moving forward. read more

Do not order this place through Uber Eats. We order donuts for the office through Uber Eats, and they have gotten our order wrong twice now. The first time they didn't inform us that some of the donuts we ordered was out of stock. The just replaced it with a bunch of random donuts without letting us know. This second time today we ordered two triple chocolate donuts, and we ended up with 2 chocolate glazed donuts with sprinkles on top. Not even a chocolate donut. I took out one star because I felt a bit deceived. I thought the taro donut had some kind of taro fillings inside. I assumed, so I only blamed myself for not clarifying before buying. The issue was that the glazed part had no taro flavor at all or maybe a very slight taro flavor? I dunno. I couldn't taste any. Like what?!?? Why even call it taro... There were plenty of flavors, but it seemed like the specialty ones were the ones that tend to run out in the afternoon. I wanted the banana cream one. It was out. The interior is cozy and charming. There's a few tables for seating but it's mostly a shop you come in, pick up, and go about your day. Parking is available in a small lot right outside or in the back behind the building. Service was amazing and the employees were very friendly! The gentleman helping us had given us extra donuts on the house even though he didn't have to. I really appreciate their generosity! The donuts were delicious! Classics were exactly what we expected and their special donuts were *chef's kiss*. My favorites were the strawberry split, lemon poppy seed, crème brûlée, and taro crunch. Short version - excellent! I was in the mood for value for my dollar so I was drawn to the half dozen promotion. They have a great selection of regular donuts including many of my favorites like glazed, maple, and coconut. They also have a tasty selection of fancy/signature donuts. I am going to go back to try some of the fancier options. The donuts I had were all what most folks would consider traditional, fluffy donuts. They are on the larger side and six kept me going for two days. They tasted just as great after two days on my counter as the first day which means they were fresh right from when I ordered. In addition to donuts, they have a nice cafe menu with coffee and tea drinks as well as bagels, sandwiches and more. The people behind the counter were helpful, friendly and patient which I appreciate since I always struggle to pick multiple donuts. They were also very kind. I saw them assist a person who was struggling and came in looking for water. The shop is small and has a few seating options. I like the logo and the simple decor. It is in a strip mall with parking but it seems like it could get a little tricky to find parking at times. Despite the name, I came here for a bagel sandwich when the craving struck hard. I got the bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. The sandwich hit the spot. This shop is small, but the bakery case is massive. A box of 7 donuts only set me back about $15. My favorite of my selections was the classic raised/glazed, which was fluffy, melt in your mouth perfection. All of the raised donuts tasted fresh, with a soft pillowy texture. Albeit Crafted Donuts is not huge, it's a no-frills shop with the basic donuts you find such as your sprinkles, your glazed, chocolates & your twists. They offer more specialty items like red velvet, Birthday cake, maple and so on (which are bigger) if you roll like that. Socially-distanced, CD has a selection of smoothies and sandwiches on their menu (which I haven't had so I can't comment on). Crafted Donuts has a huge selection of both basic and fun donuts. Prices vary depending on just how adventurous you want to get. Their chocolate frosting is solid, I had it both on a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and Chocolate frosted with sprinkles donut. Their cake donuts are better than their raised donuts, imho. That being said, I found the cake donuts ever so slightly dry so they may have been sitting out a while. My favorite of the three donuts I bought was a Red Velvet frosted cake donut. Flavor was really good on this one but again, it suffered the bit of dryness. Nothing too crazy, just a bit too much for my liking. I was nearby waiting for a particular donut shop to open, I didn't want to wait 1hr 30 min so this was the one closest to me. I ordered bacon maple donut (soft to perfection, sweet & savory yum!!! Iced coffee with a splash of almond milk, also yum ordered the Jalepeno ham & cheese croissant it was mushy inside, the croissant could be cooked a little longer but it has potential.
