Since we ordered and paid on our phones and had to get our own water, the only service we really received was having our food brought to the table. We still tipped around 20%, but it didn't feel like the level of service matched the tip. Overall, this visit didn't live up to my previous experiences here. My favorite is the Rocky Road where they actually add marshmallows on top and toast it for you. The Buttah Cakes has also been a recent gem that we've tried lately and it's absolutely delicious. Since it's freshly made, it's rich, creamy, and even a little scoop goes a long way. They even make waffle cones in store if you want to spruce things up for your dessert experience. The staff are friendly and handle rushes of customers well for the size of the shop. We're lucky to have a great shop like this in central Oahu so you don't have to drive all the way to town for a great ice cream fix.

Taste Tea is located in Waikele Premium Outlet which is divided in to two section and Taste Tea is located in the area with Lowe's and Old Navy area and is found along the fence and not in the McDonald's food area. This tiny trailer does have it all like any full service store with menu filled with options for me it was the simple "Honey Iced Tea" and with the choice of teas it was Spring Tea my favorite with light sweetness was a nice and refreshing sip. The only downside is there not seating in this area regardless of the freeway vibe and is pretty much a grab and go situation though love the convenience of having this spot with lots of free parking does make very Taste Tea. I do feel that they prioritize the drive-thru over walking in because a few times I would just go in to order if the drive-thru is busy and the barista taking my order appears to be taking and making orders for the drive-thru. There were also a few instances I saw where you can't even go in to order and could only go to the drive-thru. I do understand when they say they're short-staffed and I see how it can get pretty busy. I'm just sharing my past experience but I do continue to come here because my drinks are always made to how I like it and I love that they're open a little later than other coffee shops! They also were letting you pay the difference because the free drinks were the og matcha latte or the strawberry matcha. I opted to get the Velvet Valentine and my husband got the salted maple matcha. We loved both our drinks. Wait wasn't long. Such cute drinks and straws as well. I want to go back to try their other drinks as well! It was great for local businesses to support each other.
