Forever one of my favorite local coffee shops. Great place to order a coffee and sit down to get some work done. The staff is very kind.

I love checking out local coffee spots so when I happened to pass this one of course I had to stop in. In short, service was pretty terrible. From the time I was in line to the time I got my drink it was at least 20 minutes - for an iced coffee. There was one person in line in front of me and I'm pretty sure that she discussed the entire menu with the guy at the register. I appreciate that he was friendly but considering there were a few of us waiting to order that he might've hurried things on a little bit. After I finally ordered it took probably another 8-10 minutes for my drink. It was a Saturday afternoon so moderately busy, but there were 3 people behind the counter making drinks, with no sense or urgency. It's not like I got a smoothie or even a latte. It shouldn't take that long. The iced coffee I got was good, but man, the slow service kind of ruined it for me. read more

My favorite spot for meeting, getting work done, coffee, lunch, snacks. Its all so amazing and delicious! The staff is always friendly. The place is beautiful and the location is perfect!! If you haven't gone you must stop. All Organic so it's guilt free! Highly recommend! read more

I use to come here once in a while to grab a coffee, or tea. It was a fun environment a year ago. Went in at a time they were not busy, just to not even be acknowledged while there were 3 people behind the counter. I had actually walked out of the store, disappointed and a tad angry, to watch the one person behind me get served immediately. It is ridiculous and rude. Would give 4 stars but I am always confused on the menu and constant changes (not fault of the business necessarily, but more clarity on the menu would be nicer). Otherwise I love the staff and how kind they are. It's a very calm atmosphere. Just the drinks are really pricey. A latte cost me $6! I think it could be lower, even though it's more handcrafted. read more

I've been here a few times now just to give them a fair review. Let's start by saying the coffee and teas are good. The service is quick, but not overly friendly. The people working there often have an attitude, like you are bothering them if you ask for something. I ordered an iced coffee with cream, and they filled it completely to the top, leaving no room to add the half and half, which I had to ask for. I was told rudely, "it's on the counter" (it wasn't) and then seeing it wasn't there, she reached under the counter and smacked down an almost empty container of Walmart brand half and half in front of me and walked away. Luckily there was hardly anything left in the carton because I had no room to pour it into the cup anyway. If they are going to feel too much pressure to give people creamer then maybe have it in a carafe on the counter with the utensils like other coffee places do. I know it's a busy location but there's no drive thru, the dining room is not super clean when it's busier, and honestly there is no good reason to stop here instead of the million other coffee shops around. read more

I love this place!! I especially enjoy the alpha kale smoothie and vanilla cold brew. A little on the pricier side, but definitely worth it. Nice big and quiet atmosphere with plenty of space, lots of outlets, and great for working or catching up with friends. Many options and very friendly baristas. read more

I don't understand why there isn't more locations!! This place is phenomenal. My "go-to" is always a vanilla latte with oat milk. It is perfection in a cup! All the employees are super friendly. I love that almost all the food there is made in house! My only complaint is you guys aren't in Huntley. read more

First time here. I was expecting it to be like a Starbucks but it's better. More than just coffee as drink options. The cafe is big with plenty of seating. The place is neat and clean. It a good place to meet a client. This is definitely a must try. read more

Simply the best coffee shop in McHenry County. They serve premium coffee that's always brewed to perfection. Even in the midst of COVID-19, the atmosphere is excellent and homey. read more

Wow, I've been away from the area for a few years, and all these cool places popped up! I popped into Daily Projects to do some work, and was surprised by the comfortable space (so spacious) and hip decor. I ordered an Americano and a Stroop Waffel. The Stroop Waffel was alas too small for the Americano mug, so I could not warm it over the coffee mug, but both were delicious! As I was leaving, a writing workshop was starting up, and apparently there was an open mic night later. Seems like they have a lot going on, and a great creative vibe. This will definitely be my go-to coffeeshop next time I'm in Crystal Lake / Algonquin! read more

This place is awesome! I'm always sceptical to try new coffee places. It's a hit or a miss. This place is a hit for sure. I ordered a caramel latte, but unfortunately they were out of caramel, understandable for a new place just starting out. Instead I ordered a vanilla latte, which I'm usually not a fan of, but I wasn't disappointed. The latte came out with cute foam art on top, and tasted great! The foam also lasted through my entire drink and absorbed the coffee flavor very nicely. Can't wait to try their other drinks. Daily Projects is my new go to place for coffee in the area for sure. :) read more

This is my go to coffee shop for when I'm in the area. It's in a strange location, in an area currently heavily congested with construction. But this cute place has GREAT coffee and good food. (The food is good but overpriced.) The vibe in this place is essentially the name of the coffee shop. Daily Projects. People come here to drink coffee and get stuff done! While I mostly finish schoolwork here, I have also gone in to enjoy a latte while reading a book, and I have also gone in to catch up with a friend. This is a great meeting place!! And it's pretty common to bring kids here as well. read more

Stopped in here on Small Business Saturday at the recommendation (actually insistence) of my sister in law. She was right, it was worth it. I got a Quick Cup (coffee) and split a Dagwood breakfast sandwich with my husband. We'd actually already eaten breakfast, so it was our mid-morning snack. The sandwich was very good and could easily be a lunch item. In fact I wonder if that's when most people order it since it came with potato chips. I don't think I've eaten potato chips before 10 am before, but hey, they were great! I wasn't sure about the pickled onions when I saw them in the description, but I actually think they made the sandwich. The eating area is spacious and we noticed ample electrical outlets all along the wall. This place is fairly new, but they have a demonstrated interest in local foods, and I really hope they do well! read more

This is by far our favorite coffee shop. It's a little pricey but well worth it. I usually get a Mocha Latte and my girl a Vanilla Latte both large comes out to 11 and some change. We get Dunkin' doughnuts coffee daily and after our first time going here Dunkin doughnuts just didn't match up anymore. Daily Projects is in a league of their own. 2:00 pm on a Sunday afternoon and the coffee tasted stale. My husband lowered his mask to taste his coffee after he had to put 5 sugars in to drowned out the stale poor taste. He asked the girl if they had hazelenut to which she coldly responded "NO, WE DONT HAVE HAZELNUT HERE, CAN YOU PUT YOUR MASK UP?" Rather then "no, Im sorry we dont, can I offer you something else or is your coffee okay?" She was more concerned with his mask which was down because he was tasting his coffee, that's still allowed isn't it?...Secondly, she was worried with the mask however we watched her CROSS CONTAMINATE [touching a wet towel on the sink at least 5 times] my coffee lid, the milk, the blender, the spoon, the flavor pumps. RUDE service, stale coffee and unsanitary practices. We will not ever return. read more

Me and my friend both had the vanilla cold brew. Was very good, but nothing outstanding. I asked the girl behind the counter some questions and she said the flavoring was a simple syrup. I was disappointed to hear this. I was hoping it'd be more like Conscious Cup (in Crystal Lake) where they make their own flavorings. I was surprised that the largest cup size was 16 oz. Most places have 20 oz. as their largest size. The drinks are also a little on the pricey side. I also had a slice of quiche - which looked wonderful in the case. Unfortunately, it tasted terrible. I know good food - I'm a serious home cook. The crust was SO hard, that I couldn't even cut it with a knife and fork. I simply ate the filling and threw the shell/crust away. Large, open atmosphere that was rather quiet, considering the amount of people in there. Quiet music playing in the background too, which is always appreciated over blaring music. My niece described this place best when she tasted her overnight oats "it tastes sweet and beautiful." The location has a comforting feel upon entering and being greeted by their kind staff. I was expecting, since the place was so beautiful, that the staff might be pretentious but they weren't at all, kindly answering our questions and giving us their detailed recommendations. I got the avocado toast which was bright, fresh and well thought out. The lavender latte was comforting and the snickerdoodle cookie was a lovely highlight. I really really like this place but it is so expensive I don't even know what to say about it. It's so cool but like the name suggests people do camp out there and do their daily projects seriously there is a guy brings his complete set up and stands the whole time like a standing office situation. I guess that's OK that's what they're there for. It's a little weird. I would much rather them charge me for table time than the excessive charge on the items. I would gladly pay for the time I spend at the table when I'm there for a four hour meeting which we have done rather than eight dollars for a cup of tea. It's sort of is cost prohibitive to make it a standing meeting place (haha that's funny). If they charged for the table time I could expense that portion with my company since we have a virtual office set up. I cannot expense coffee drinks etc. Just something to consider. read more

This place is the most genuine coffee shop i have ever been to. I've worked at coffee shops before and this by far the best experience. Customer service is amazing, interior is beautiful, and their presentation/taste of their drinks awesome. I got the vanilla iced cold brew, absolutely delicious, and my boyfriend had a hot vanilla latte, which was equally delicious. Also they gave us a free sample of a shaken sparkling mint limeade. I don't know where to start. The hot coffee is amazing. The cold brew is amazing. The service is amazing. The salads and sandwiches are made fresh with a wonderful blend of flavors. Their smoothies are made fresh and have a wow factor! They are open every day from 7 am to 9 pm. The owners Sang welcomed us on our first visit, and is always friendly with every visit. Our favorite server is Jack who provides a warm smile and makes some great sandwiches and coffee. All of the staff are great here. You must give them a try! I look forward to my cold brew tomorrow morning! Why not give them a try????? read more
