We wanted to stock up on meats and our regular meat market is in the belly of the beast right now so not an option. y husband suggested we give Michael's a shot. Plenty of parking, they had a sign up only 6 people allowed in the store at a time and you can clearly see right through the door how many people are in the store. I entered in and pulled a number. My number was called immediately but I needed time! They let me have some time to gander at the goods and prices. I did then have to wait some time to be asked again. I have to say there was an array of meats to choose from. The prices were higher than that meat market I normally go to. The staff were efficient. They just announced that they are closing at the end of the month. I will miss walking by and being lured in by the smoky barbecue in the air when I didn't even know I was hungry. I was always greeted by friendly faces, and the cozy interior warmed me even in the cold month of February. I used to come here after class for my weekly wednesday burger, and I celebrated MANY special occasions here. Durk's will truly be missed by the neighborhood.
