We were about to hit up downtown to go check out some bars, but first we were in need of an ice cream fix. This was our first time in the area so we didn't know where anything was, but of course we pulled out our handy dandy Yelp app to find us a spot. Dairy King is your typical, small little ice cream stand, that has some pretty good ice cream. We got two different cups for about 4 bucks total. They have tons of flavors to choose from, along with Sundaes and other cool treats. The saddest thing about this business though is that it is in a sketcchhyyy area. I hardly even felt comfortable getting out of the car to go order. It seems to be a very run down side of town, and there were a couple people who walked right past us who seemed to be drugged out of their mind. To make matters worse, right after we got our ice cream I spotted a gigantic RAT running right by the place, nibbling at garbage on the ground. I can't really blame the business, but I was pretty disgusted by that. Maybe Dairy King is more for locals or people who know the area better, but I would prefer to try somewhere else the next time I am in Providence.

I got the cookie compost ice cream sandwich and as a chocolate lover, it was absolutely divine!! Not too overwhelmingly sweet and it hit just the perfect amount of sweetness I was looking for. The Matcha ice cream was also very, very good and the way that they make their own ice cream here it must be studied because it is just SO good. You can just taste the freshness that comes with their ice cream flavors here. I generally cannot wait to return here to have some more ice cream because I just know that no matter what I get from here, it will be absolutely delicious! If you're even considering coming here for one second trust me GO GO GO it will be one of the best ice cream(s) of your life!

I was around the other day and the smell of the cookies baking made me come inside! They have a lot of fun options if you don't have dietary restrictions but still have tasty options for dairy free and wheat free! I had a dairy free Oreo ice cream sandwich! They also had chocolate, strawberry, or vanilla as an option plus sorbet pops! Very tasty.

It was raining, I wanted dessert, but I wanted something new to me. I randomly found this place…read morewhen doing a google search and based on their nearly perfect reviews, decided I had to give it a shot; I had a BIG FEELING I'd love it. It is located next to a school so traffic can be heavy depending on the time of day. I went around 5 pm and the weather wasn't great so not as much traffic and parking right in front. It is metered parking which is a downside but I believe there are side streets without the fee. I loved a lot of the details when I walked in such as the ice cream cone chairs along the wall, the art on the wall, the citrus colors all around, and a water station. The menu isn't very extensive, but | actually love this about them. Each flavor is very unique and when every flavor sounds and tastes good, a dozen options is perfectly fine. They also have it broken up into regular hard ice cream, dairy free ice cream, and sorbet. I couldn't decide on what I wanted but I was allowed to sample different ones before committing to one. They offer 4 different sizes: mini (golf ball scoop) - $4, scoop (baseball) -$6, half/half - $7, and double -$8. During my sampling session, I tried the horchata, thai tea, and dulce de leche. I ultimately opted for the dulce de leche because of its sweet, creamy, and intense caramel-like flavor. It almost tasted like a cold Werther's caramel melting in my mouth, so I needed more of it. However, I loved that the horchata had a strong cinnamon and vanilla presence with a hint of coconut since I do think the non-diary flavors are coconut milk based. The thai tea literally tasted like a frozen thai tea as it was milky but also the black tea undertone was there. I did not get to taste the london fog but I also heard it was a black tea flavor. Just based on internet pictures, it looks like the menu is constantly changing (some staple flavors don't seem to leave) and there are seasonal flavors. This motivates me to come back more often to see what treasures I come across. They had a few tables inside to enjoy your ice cream there. There were two people working so I did not wait much for my turn. They also do offer pints to go, but from what I could see only two flavors: cookies and cream and mango sticky rice.

First of all, their ice cream has a salty taste, which I've honestly never experienced before. Even…read morethe Hawaiian Vanilla Bean flavor tasted salty. That part comes down to personal preference... I can tolerate a taste I don't love. What I can't tolerate is bad service. The employee working on 5/25/26 was extremely rude and had no customer service skills. She acted annoyed whenever someone asked for samples and made customers feel like they were wasting her time. She handed over cups of ice cream without spoons or any explanation of where to find them. After running the register, she simply turned around and walked away before the payment even finished processing. Like I said, taste is subjective. How bad can ice cream really be, right? But poor service is something I don't overlook. I won't be returning to this place. In my opinion, 3 Sisters and Sacred Cow offer a much better overall experience.

I used credit card, added in the tip and finished the transaction and was waiting for my ice-cream. They took my number and said if the transaction went through they will cancel, call me let me know. They called me that evening and told me the transaction went through and they cancelled the charges. I check my credit card transactions. Guess what... they only cancelled the ice-cream price. The experience of watching the ice cream rollers do their thang is entertaining. I'd like to call Freezing Point "ice cream and a show". Eventbrite was easy to use to reserve the ticket and choose the mini ice cream cake flavors. I chose Milk & Cookies and Sweet Cream & Cookies. The class started about 10:50AM, because we were all waiting for 1 guest to arrive. The class had a total of 11 people. On the table, there were round decorating turntables, cups of frosting, frosting spreaders, mini M&Ms, and icing in piping bags. When the whole class was ready, the staff member gave us our first mini ice cream cake and showed us how to frost it and use the piping bag to create grass. Then, we decorated our second mini ice cream cake. I think my second mini ice cream cake was better, but we were pretty much left to decorate freely. I wish there was more instruction from the staff members. Unfortunately, the mini ice cream cakes started to melt while were decorating and it was messy. The staff members were wonderful and friendly though. They let us keep the mini ice cream cakes in the freezer for a bit while my friends and I grabbed a smoothie from Mia Cane nearby. I do not think the class was really worth $27.00, but I try to think of it as purchasing 2 mini ice cream cakes with toppings for $27.00. The mini ice cream cakes had good flavor.
