My first visit to this particular DQ, and don't think I'll ever go back. We ordered 3 cones (that's it) in the drive-thru with 2 cars ahead of us. We sat in that line for, I kid you not, almost 30 minutes. If I could've escaped between cars I would have. Since this was my first time I figured it was a fluke and would at least receive an apology for the wait. The service was slow and rude. They barely acknowledged me as I stood at the counter waiting on an ice cream for five minutes. The banana splits were skimpy on the actual ice cream. Also, the small sundae was the same size as a kiddie ice cream. The burger was pretty good, though! read more

So....I went to get the Texas Meal Deal. This meal includes a mini blizzard. As I was getting my food, the person at the window dropped the spoon on her hand (which had been dealing with money) and then onto the counter (which had her arms and probably money on it). She then proceeded to stick the spoon into the blizzard. EW! I told her I didn't want that one since the spoon had been on the counter. She threw it away with so much attitude. She did remake it, but she didn't say two words to me after that. I think I may start driving all the way across town since that DQ seems to be doing a lot better on customer service. read more

My family and I are a fan of Dairy Queen but, this place is horrible on so many levels. The whole restaurant is filthy including the dining area, kitchen, and bathroom. Our food tasted like stale dirty oil. I made the mistake of ordering the taco salad... terrible. Its one of my favorite things to order at DQ but not at this one. It was composed on soggy salad, terrible greasy chips, and really strange lumps of brown stuff that we could not identify. I hope I don't get food poisoning. The service was a joke as well. Tons of people waiting to order, no one paying attention or caring. If you like DQ go to the north side. Maybe its better there. For the love of G** do not eat here. read more

We went through the drive thru and ordered steak finger basket and a number 1 burger. The service was extremely slow. The hamburger was nasty and got fed to the dog, the meat tasted like it was cooked hours before. The steak finger were under cooked and not very good. The french fries were good. Worst Dairy Queen I've ever been to! The first time I went, I clearly ordered ONE kid's meal with the chicken strips and a MINI blizzard, but I was rang up for TWO kid's meals and TWO MEDIUM blizzards. The food was not fresh at all. The chicken strips and fries were hardly even warm. I have had a cotton candy blizzard from here three times now, and each time the blizzard was not well blended. There were also bits of chocolate ice cream and other flavors mixed in each time. When it was delivered by the girl who made it, her hands were COVERED with dried up ice cream from previous orders. Like any town in Texas their is a Dairy Queen, I've only known DQ for their blizzards but when moving to Texas realized they carry more them just ice cream. I've only had their chicken basket that comes w/ gravy on the side, french fries and two pieces of toast. Now depending on the DQ you can either have terrible food or good n hot. The place looks like it might have been a restaurant before it became a DQ it seem busy inside and the line for the drive thru was long. It must have been a busy night with not enough staff because I had to pull off to the side for ten minutes while I waited for my food with 4 cars ahead of me. (Wasn't upset that I had to wait) Finally food came out hot and all there. I don't know why I enjoy the fries here I mean theirs nothing special about them but I like them especially with my gravy. Chicken stripes were good not dry like they can be. Toast has just enough butter and like the fries I dip the toast with the gravy. For dessert of course a blizzard usually get snickers w/ reeces, my hubby gets mint oreo they have other great options that can be found on the website and a blizzard of the month which is pumpkin pie. When she read the order back it sounded correct but it was so fast and hard to hear, my fault here. Usually, this kind of thing just gets sorted out at the widow, calmly. #2-Gave us a drink, then 2 milkshakes, then burger bag. Tried to hand me a reg cone that we didn't order(ordered a chocolate dip cone and a sm cup of reg ice cream) and I tried to tell her that. She got smart and said I didn't order that. I told her to dip that cone and we will take it, then said it would be 2.19, which I paid. She handed me the cone and looked at me and I said now we need the cup of ice cream(which I was charged and paid)she tried to tell me she had already given me the cup of ice cream and I said no you didn't. Here she got really smart mouthed and said to me I don't need your attitude and I said I don't need yours either. She gave me the cup and slammed the window shut. Is this how your young employees are allowed to be with customers? I realize they don't get paid much but that is no excuse to act like that. Your employee was very disrespectful. I received a two for one deal! I went through the drive threw ordered my food, when I got home my burger was smashed totally flat! On top of this my order was wrong. I called them to explain what had happened. They got defensive and asked what do you want a refund? Then I asked for the District Managers name and number. So I call him and let him know what's going on. He then asks if I can take a picture of the burger so he knows that I didn't damage the food?? Really, I told you the order was wrong and the burger was smashed flat! I wasn't looking for any type of refund, I was trying to let him know the quality of product this store was delivering. The DIRTIEST DQ I have ever been too! I have never been a fast food joint so dirty. They're were flies everywhere, tables have not been cleaned in what looked like DAYS. The floor was disgusting, the tables were so sticky with ice cream and food crumbs all over them, the door had nasty hand prints all over it-- I could go on and on. I can't imagine what it looks like in the kitchen. I walked around taking pictures because I just couldn't believe how bad it was. I was approached by an employee/manager who asked why I was doing it. I told her the place was disgusting! She said she was "short staffed." I showed her the booth I was sitting in and pointed to the black hand prints that were ALL over the back. I said it was unacceptable and that's not due to being short staffed. I ordered 2 lrg drinks at the drive through. When I paid with my debit card the employee said $4.44, I put the recept down and took the drinks. Later when I looked at the recept it had $14.44. We came here on the 3rd of June to get a dipped cone and a blizzard. It took them 20 minutes to get our order. The woman taking orders on the register had not idea how to operate register and rung pur order up wrong twice. Today my husband went there to get some dipped cones and left after being ignored for over 5 minutes. He said it seemed like they would rather socialize than work. Terrible, horrible experience. I wish I could take away the one star that I'm being forced to leave. Workers are either untrained or slow and very rude. I ordered 2 chicken strip baskets and got charged for the dipping sauce, not extra sauce, the first sauce. I asked to substitute onion rings for fries in one basket like their menu advertises and was told it wasn't an option and if I wanted onion rings I'd have to order them in addition to my basket. I wish I could give this a zero star rating! I usually like DQ, but had the worst customer service experience of my life at this location today!! We pulled up to the drive-thru and the employee asked us to wait...that should've been the first red flag. Five minutes later she comes on and takes our order. We pull up to the window and see the two cars that were ahead of us parked on the side waiting...another red flag. It took her five minutes before she opened up the window for us to pay. She asked us to pull up and park and wait. Mind you, we had two crying babies in the backseat at this point. So 25 frickin minutes later, I go inside and ask the girl at the front to give me a refund, because we have to get the heck out of there. She doesn't apologize or even say a word, and just goes to the back and never comes back. My husband calls me five minutes later to tell me someone brought out the food. I was so mad at that point, I didn't even want the food, but was no way in hell going to stick around any longer than my total 30 minute "fast food drive thru" experience at the worst DQ ever!
