February 25, 2026 This was a disappointing and frustrating experience. We walked in before closing and asked an employee near the entrance if the lobby was still open. He appeared unsure and simply said, "I don't know." Since the doors were unlocked and we were inside prior to closing time, we approached the counter -- only to be refused service. We have two daughters under two years old, so getting them in and out is not a simple task. Being turned away after already entering the building was extremely frustrating. If customers are inside before closing, it's reasonable to expect they will be served. This will be the only time we visit this location. I would recommend going elsewhere. Absolutely disappointing. I have tried coming here multiple times around 8:40 and they are always "closed". Why do your signs and websites say 10 if all the lazy employees are going to close at 8:40. I understand closing 5 minutes early but an hour is absolutely insane. read more

Well today was the last day we will eat here. We liked the dollar taco day until today. Today there were 5 tacos all crammed in one box. We went to eat them in the parking lot, so they didn't sit in the box for long. One out of 5 was still in tact. The others had decintagrated and had to eat them with a fork, which fortunately I had some in my car. There were no forks in the box. The meat tasted a little funny. Oh just an awful experience. I grew up in Texas and loved going into a Dairy Queen for the freshly cooked burgers and shakes, when I was younger. Recently, I went into the one in Greenville, Texas. I ordered a cheeseburger with jalapeños and fries. When I got my order, I checked my burger and was shocked! Not only were there no jalapeños, the burger patty and cheese were frozen - not cold - FROZEN solid as a block of ice. I was astounded. I took it back to the counter and the clerk handed it back to kitchen window. They nuked my burger and gave it back, without even a, "Sorry about that." I checked my burger again and there was one, very small, slice of jalapeño on the nuked slice of cheese. I find it absolutely appalling, that Dairy Queen doesn't freshly cook burgers anymore; just take frozen meat and cheese and nuke it; calling it freshly made. The meal also came with an order of fries - 12 french fries that were the consistency of wet wood. BUYER BEWARE - If you want a freshly cooked meal (not frozen), Whataburger is going to be a much better choice than Dairy Queen. read more

If you value your physical safety DO NOT COMPLAIN IF you order is incorrect. My son ordered a burger and had to send it back 3 times. On the third time the immature and violent carreer fry cook flew out of the kitchen and physically threatened my disabled son who suffers from traumatic brain injury because he could not make a simple burger to order. Management did nothing to stop him and were laughing. Don't call corporate either. The district mgr is a cowardly fool. Paid $40 bucks for a lousy meal. Ordered three burgers with all the fixings, jalapeños, and cheese. Jalapeños are extra as is each slice of cheese. So in total of cheese and jalapeños I was charged $4, and for nothing because our burgers didn't come with any cheese or jalapeños! Hell, they didn't even put mustard on it, so much for their "mustard all the way". All we got were three burgers that tasted like double onions on buns. We're new to Greenville and we decided to try out this local Dairy Queen. We thought it was closed because there was no one. After trying their food I realized why!! They gave me molding lettuce in my chicken sandwhich. And their lemonade was just plain gross. My husbands burger was dry and also had molding lettuce. I literally never write ugly reviews and I'm not a picky eater but gosh this was by war my worst experience with a fast food restaurant. Simply no effort. Don't waste you time or money. read more

I got 4 small pieces of mystery darkened meat thinner than cardboard of a box and breading twice as thick as the "meat" covered in the center. A half handful of fries and a small drink....for over $8. So in attempting to rescue a value via taste I asked for a couple condiments; -honey mustard and maybe some bbq. Okay? After paying over $8 for this breading, a fraction of a small potato as fries and a small drink we all know costs DQ about 10 cents w/half of that being water and ice in the cup......they want MORE MORE $$! YES they want more $ after more than $8 for condiments to put on the "food" I purchased right there at DQ! If there was a possible way to give no stars I would. Three straight times now we have come in here for lunch (which is from 12-1) and every time we have to scarf down our food to hurry and get back to the office on time, cause we order about 1210 or so and it never fails here I am sitting at 1240 1245 and there's no food. I watch customers go in and out with their orders, so I go to inquire and low and behold they "dropped" our order so it hasn't even been made yet. The food has for the most part been adequate at this DQ location. But the service is certainly not the most welcoming DQ. We have been several times since moving to Greenville a few months ago and the food is ok. But the service has always been mediocre. Tonight our son(who worked at another DQ for well over a year and even trained staff before our family moved) went to get four hot fudge sundaes. Should have been easy breezy! They cheated us on Fudge! When my son questioned the person they just said that was how they are supposed to be and they needed to wait on the next in line. Had he never worked in a DQ maybe he would not have known that he was being cheated! However, he did and It was visually obvious to everyone! After looking at the reviews it looks like shorting the customers is standard at this location. Too many other choices in Greenville and the surrounding area to bother with this store! Worth the drive to Mabank or Farmersville Stores! They have never cheated us and have always been top notch teams! I was coming back into town after the races. It was 20 minutes before they closed, so I figured we would swing by to get some ice cream on the way home. I pulled in the drive thru to order a shake. The employee refuses to take my order because "our ice cream machine is not working right now". Okay...... I later find out that there is a big conspiracy!!!
