After you wait a long while, you may get a burnt charcoal-black burger that was microwaved or possibly dropped into the fry oil. The temperature was volcanic-burning hot and it was shriveled like a random raisin you find dropped in your purse by your 4 year old. And the food was hotter than a grill can make it. Too hot to bite into. I worked as a short order cook at one point in my life, so I know about temperatures of food. This burger was reheated, overheated and actually dangerous. One attempted bite, omg that's not right, into the trash. If the managers saw to training these workers, they'd know what to do; right now the workers appear harried and clueless. That's on the management. Once you're stuck in the drive thru line, you have to wait quite a while to get your inexpertly cooked order while your already-dished up sundae melts away. So best not to go in the first place because you can't even bail out; the drive thru traps you in line. Or you can "dine in" but then you might be tempted to say something unkind to the cooks, which you really should not do, and that would end up badly too. So...just don't go here. read more

Have you ever been in a drive through line long enough that your car threatened to overheat? A line that backs all the way onto the highway? A line that makes you think "Either these are the best burgers ever or I'm going to be forced to write a bad review?" Welcome to my bad review. No photos because I really just wanted to eat my not good burger and be done. While in line I downloaded the app, customized and placed an order, indicated I'd be picking it up, and pulled into a parking spot as soon as I could get to one. (Remember that I started the process while still on the actual highway.) This was when I discovered that the door was locked. The owners had apparently decided that they were too short staffed to have counter service, but had no note on the door or any way to contact the staff. I waited for an employee to bring someone else's food to the door and explained the situation. He asked me to wait and said the same to the two other customers who joined me at the door. The poor employee returned a few minutes later with most of my order-all in one bag. My burgers were warm, onion rings cold, salad was cool and the dilly bar was the wrong type and was sucking up the heat that remained from the burgers. They did find me the proper dilly bar but I was back in the car before I remembered that I'd also ordered a blizzard. There was no way I was returning for my missing dessert, then or ever. TLDR? Skip this DQ. If you must visit, use the app and request curbside pickup. Triple check your order and get your ice cream away from your hot foods. read more

Pleasantly surprised. My wife had never been to a DQ that had burgers and fries as well as the ice cream. She exclaimed over the cheeseburger and fries. Also enjoyed her thin mint blizzard although they disappoints us when they did not turn it over even though it was promoted on every employees shirt. I got the shrimp basket since it was Good Friday and I don't want to spend eternity in the fiery out of hell for eating a burger on Friday in Lent. They were actually not bad for fast food shrimp. The cocktail sauce left a little to be desired but what do you expect for sauce in a cup that doesn't need refrigeration? My peanut buster parfait was ok. A single star is generous for the poor service received. The drive thru attendant tossed money at my husband that fell to the ground. She pointed down for him to pick it up. He asked for her to please hand him his change. When we were handed our blizzards, they had no lids and were running over. Melted ice cream dripped all over our car interior and no napkins were offered. We've never encountered such an unfriendly server. Please do better. Everyone is complaining about to wait time, but every single Dairy Queen I've been to from Delaware to Texas is slow- because they take their time cooking your food. Their fries are DELICIOUS! Super warm and salted to perfection. Burgers are cooked perfectly, and have tons of flavor- along with being exactly the way I ordered it. The ice cream cakes are a staple for us for every birthday and holiday. When we are in the mood for a good old fashioned hamburger and fries this is the only place we go. This is the worst Dairy Queen I have ever encountered. They NEVER get the order correct and often try and pass off blended soft serve with four M&Ms as a Blizzard. We've been to this location 4 times since we moved to DE and have had to ask them to correct our order each time. Monday night after our daughter's wonderful Christmas play we decided to take her out for ice cream as a reward. We went to this location b/c it was closest. I also had a coupon for b1g1. We waited in line in the lobby for 15 minutes before we were rudely greeted by the counter girl. I presented my coupon just as I had on other occasions and was told she couldn't accept it. I'm not sure why it was any different from any of the others. We left the store with the counter girl screaming at us the whole time. I then called the manager and was treated rudely by him as well. Fortunately my little princess likes Friendly's better. They will be getting all of our celebratory ice cream revenue from now on. At least they get the orders mostly right. read more

I recently downloaded the DQ app and there was an offer for buy 1, get 1 for $.99 Blizzards. I decided to treat the kids and told the drive through associate that I had this offer as I was ordering. He informed me that if I wanted to use the offer I would need to print out the coupon. Not only does the app not state this, but most people don't have the capability to print from a phone app. I asked to speak to the manager and was told that this was not a company policy but rather one that the owners made and she would not honor the coupon. This place has a fabulous cheeseburger and fries as well as chicken strips!! I can only say their ice cream is fabulous any way they serve it....as a cone, a sundae, even a blizzard.
