I am an avid fan of Jersey Mikes! I make it my business to visit a Jersey Mike's, in whatever city I am in, because I've learned that they are individually operated and Allllllll of them, do things differently. Yeah, it's fresh, however, it's getting skimpier and skimpier. At this particular location, I asked for more meat because..... look at the picture. The veggies are the sandwich, basically. They told me that they have to only slice a particular number of meat slices for each sandwich, based on the size you order. The thing is, if the slicer is on super thin, those 3 or 4 slices, equal to 1 whole slice cut a little thicker. I'm a fan but it's not cool to skimp on the meats that we are paying big bucks for for a sandwich. I want my sandwiches to look like what is portrayed on billboards and commercials. read more

Still a favorite. Stopped in to introduce my guests from Germany to New Jersey style subs/ hoagies. Had them order the classic Italian with Mike's way and these were a huge hit. You have to understand that ham and salami and other cold meats are absolutely wonderful in Germany and sandwiches there are a way of life, but they are not like Jersey Mike's. Came in Saturday August 3rd. Had put an online order in to be picked up at 2:33pm. Sometimes the order is ready earlier, but this time it wasn't. That's okay. No one seemed to know what they were doing. The guy cutting the meats was getting yelled at by the woman making the sandwiches, and the two guys at the register were confused about what was an online order and what was an eat in order. I finally saw my sandwich and the guy seemed confused about what bag it went in. I went up and asked about my order and he finally gave it to me. I've always loved Jersey Mike's. But this time when I went in I noticed that they have a mini sub. I've had gastric bypass surgery and I can't eat very much and it was amazing to get that mini sub with all of the normal goodies on it that I would have gotten on a regular size sub. Of course it was delicious I would have taken a picture but I ate it too fast. The crew was great all smiles and helpful. Can't wait to go back and try a different sub. read more

I stopped in today on my way back from NJ. I used to order the corn beef but it's been discontinued. No worries I ordered the original sub and it didn't disappoint. I never thought I would be writing a review about a place like this, but my experience today definitely warrants the time. The weather was nasty and I had a lot going on at work. It was going to spend the next 5 hours standing outside, freezing, in the snow and wasn't looking forward to it. When I walked in Sean asked me how I was doing. I didn't respond with something positive and he noticed. He turned his full attention to me, explained how the menu works and had a GREAT attitude in the face of my poor one. It was the small things...his friendly smile, professional demeanor, and attentiveness to his customer. How can you keep being aggravated when someone is being so nice? Then he sent me over the edge, just because I was having a crappy day, he bought my lunch! This is customer service! This is professionalism! This is how you want every manager and employee to act. I often had seen this establishment, never went in. Thanks to friends, it was suggested and as I went in, it looked like a mini version of a New York/busy deli in the middle of a massive city. I found that when you ordered a sub, they simply called out the #, and that reminded me of the Hot Dog Shoppe in Butler. The subs themselves didn't look unique but the freshest vegetables., meats, cheeses made this sub EXCELLENT! I would easily rate this a 5, and only reason a 4, I was unaware of the selections of breads and other extras that were available, and wished I had known this better. A reason to return for sure, this location, service, and taste? Nostalgic like Bob's Subs in Slippery Rock, this was DELICIOUS! I'm in love. Fantastic sandwiches in a tub with great ingredients. It was so filling, fresh and bountiful. Great for those on Keto. The girl that helped us was quick and listened to exactly what we wanted. Every time we go in it seems pretty busy but there's always a place to sit. I suppose the only drawback I see at this location is that both times we've gone all the tables needed to be wiped down and the floor was sticky but the food was on point. I have to admit that so far my favorite tub has been the #8 Club. Yum read more

Horrible - ended up throwing the food away, total waste of money. I ordered a #56 - cheesesteak, and asked for no jalepenos. Very simple customization, right? Apparently not. When I got home, and started to eat it I wondered why my mouth was burning. THEY CHOPPED UP THE JALEPENOS AND MIXED IT IN. It was not a mistake, it was deliberate. So I wasted my time, wasted my money, and had to throw my dinner away. There are way too many restaurants in the area to have to put up with that. This will be my last visit to Jersey Mike's. The slogan is "a sub above" but baby when I tell you this place goes BEYOND?! First of all they have a greeter, which is top tier. He is definitely a vibe. Second, my order was ready within 5-10mins of me placing the other through the app (way earlier than the confirmation email said it would be ready!)! As I walked in, they were cleaning, which is a plus- and the employee made sure I was taken care of- whichI love! Went to Jersey Mike's tonight to try their new Gluten Free Sub and the experience was awesome! As soon as I said I have a Gluten Allergy the Manager took over. She instructed the staff what to do. First take your gloves off then wash your hands and put clean gloves on. Clean the slicer, he tells her he's getting a cheese steak, so she says oh then we clean the grill. Wipe down the counter, only use the one knife designated for the gluten free bread (which was in a sealed wrap). Only use the cleaned spot for his order. I just asked for specific things on my sandwich and the girl who made the sandwiches still put on the wrong items and I had to constantly keep reiterating the same thing. Overall, it was not great experience and I feel that training their associates properly is imperative and they also should listen carefully to what the person is ordering. The subs are great! However, this is the second time that I have ordered through their app and not received one of the subs! It's extremely frustrating. I hate to leave a subpar review for a restaurant that traditionally makes good sandwiches. The problem with this establishment is the employees. There doesn't seem to be any form of consistency with the items they make. I used to order the same item and each time it's different. Missing key ingredients I specifically ask for but they seem to forget each time. I have to blame this on whoever manages this establishment. Now for this important report of my first visit to Jersey Mike's Subs here in good ole Dover Delaware. My wife sent me there to get us a couple of subs and to support Autism Awareness, a promotion Jersey's Mikes was hosting to raise money for Autistic kids. Well, props to Jersey Mikes for helping to raise money for Autism, Thank you Mr. Mike, really; but now for the review. The restaurant and the prep area were clean and well-staffed. The folks that work here (and there are a lot of them) were all very friendly and boy were they fast. I mean...the place was packed and I had my sammich in no time, flat. The whole wheat roll was fresh and the fixins were fresh as well. They didn't have the choices offered by Subway, I am sorry to report, and the iceberg lettuce was dripping wet, making for a very soggy sub indeed. As for taste, I still prefer Subway....really, there is no contest, Subway wins the taste test by a bunch. Sad to report that they don't offer a senior discount either. And as I about to make my departure, one of the extremely friendly staff shorted me on change for the $20 that I had just handed her. I was a little overwhelmed by the whole Jersey Mike's experience, so I didn't notice until I was out the door (I blame myself for this, but staff did play a role). It's very likely that I will never return to Jersey Mike's, regardless of their location. Why you ask...I just don't care for the way they make their subs. read more

Such a disappointment to discover that one of our subs was completely made incorrectly. We ordered the Big Kahuna chicken sub but instead the inattentive, inept sandwich maker, made a plain Philly cheesesteak which I do not eat.
