I have heard complaints about the store because it is not open and you have to go through the drive through but that is not the full story. The store is open for walk up/carry out service but the seated dining area is closed. If you call to order a cake you are supposed to call a day ahead of time. If you do call I suggest you leave a detailed message of the cake you are ordering. But, you can walk in and pick out a cake out of the cooler and they will write a message on it for you. The door is open before hours to allow employees in but you can not order anything before the opening hour. Once we picked out our cake and had a message written on it we were on our way. Staff was friendly and upbeat. We did get there at 10:30 when they opened so there was not yet a long vehicle line at the drive thru. We picked up a Blizzard chocolate peanut butter cup cake and everyone agreed it was delicious. They do have minimum amounts of premade ice cream treats in the freezer for walk ins. read more

I had complaints about this place a few years ago when they were going through management problems. So I stopped going there. This year I thought I would give it another shot. I've gone three times in the past three months, and the first two times I was pleasantly surprised at the service. The young woman at the counter practically bent over backwards to help. Filled my drinks, made sure everything was put together well in a bag for me so basically all I have to do is pick it up and go. The food was fresh. And I left with a smile. But it takes one bad employee to turn that over again. The third time was me walking up to the counter saying "I have a mobile order", and giving my name... and she steps up to the cash register to say " what would you like"? I said, excuse me? I just told you I'm here for my mobile order. I had a salad, a cheeseburger, a soda, and a medium blizzard to pick up... and she asked if I wanted a bag. I said how else am I going to carry all of this? She put an empty cup on the counter for me... I've never had to fill my own drink at DQ so I had to ask where that is done. I found it before she answered me. Came back to the counter and had to weave my way through three other customers. She was leaning on the counter. I said "is the rest of my order ready?" She said what else did you have? OMG are you serious? Look at my receipt. "OH. OK well your blizzard is up there..." points to an unlidded drink way out of my reach all while she's just standing there, leaning on the counter. So I had to weave my way back through the other customers to go get a lid. Came back and my salad was under the heat lamp. I said can you please get my salad out from under the heat lamp? And get one of those large plastic bags, please. Now, where is my cheeseburger? (as I'm putting everything in the bag.) as I was leaving I asked are you new? "Yes". I said well you need to learn how to help your customers more. That's literally your job. Not mine. When I order a mobile order, it should be ready for me to pick up and go with it. Love there specials. Staff is friendly and food was great. Where else can you get a hamburger, fries, pop and Sunday for $7.00?

So after what I chalked up to a mix up last year when I ordered a birthday cake on line for pick up in store and showed up to this very store and there was no record of said order and I was left to buy a cake off the freezer shelf with no personal message on it for my daughters birthday.. well fast forward to a year later and here we are again! I have the confirmation email and photo of time and date of confirmation on the computer screen. I even tried calling this store 3 times and the phone said not in service?? Only because I was worried about my prior order experience from the year before. Well I show up and it starts.. I give them my name and the search begins and the I'm sorry we don't seam to have a record of your order!! They even went as far as to say "we're not saying you're lying.. but there is just no record?" This is when I pull out the confirmation email and screenshot and the fact you can't seam to call!! And I got the we're sorry there's no one here that can make a cake or decorate it! And that's my fault?? I then informed them this is the 2nd time they have screwed me over on a cake order!! And it's completely bull shit! If you're online ordering is an issue don't keep it in place! And the phone number is a joke as it doesn't go through! To which the lady said "oh I have been answering the phone all day!" Mind you it never rang once in the 45 minutes I was there! And then she said it would be beast to stop in and order cakes in person inside.I will never order,buy or eat at this chain again! And will make a point to tell anyone and everyone they didn't even offer a discount for their order mix up! I want to give it less than one star! This is my local Dairy Queen but my experience tonight was beyond terrible! i stopped in tonight to grab a quick dinner for the family so I didn't have to cook. I ended up sitting in line for 30 minutes to get my food (and there were only 4 cars ahead of me). This is not new and something that I have learned seems to be their "normal" in the evening. Once I finally got through the line and started toward home, I started wondering if they packed the chicken salad below the hot food because they only handed me one bag. When I checked the bag, no chicken salad at all. Now I have to turn around and go back. I try to go inside to get the salad but by this time, it's 7:10pm and the dining room closed at 7pm. Now, I have to get back in the drive-up line behind 6 cars and wait again just to get to the order speaker to get the chicken salad I was not given the 1st time. I was frustrated that this has now been an hour of my time and the hot food I got 30 minutes ago is now cold and stale sitting in the car next to me. When I tell the worker that I didn't get half my order and that this has been an hour of my night, the worker said that he was the manager and they did not have any orders with food left behind tonight. Now, I'm more frustrated because they do not give you a receipt for your order. I told the manager that I know the order for the chicken salad was entered because the worker even asked me what kind of dressing I wanted with the salad. AND I certainly did not pay $26.00 for one burger and fry combo. The "manager" then told me to "cut my attitude" and tell him what I want. I told Him again I want the chicken salad that I ordered and paid for the 1st time. The manager made me repeat it yet a 3rd time "Without the attitude". When I finally got to the window to get the salad, the manager was nowhere in sight so I told the young worker I wanted to speak with the manager. (I guess it was silly of me to expect an apology for the mix-up.) I at least thought there would be an acknowledgment that a mistake was made and an apology that the first part of my order is now stone cold and soggy. My mistake. The manager (Fernando) said he did not care and told me to go ahead and call Shawn (owner) with your complaint, nothing will happen anyway. The sad thing is, unfortunately Fernando is probably right. I won't waste my time calling Shawn (owner). Sad when a simple apology and acknowledgment that a mistake happened would have resolved everything. Slowest DQ experience of my life. Actually- slowest fast food experience EVER overall. FINALLY got to the front of the line to be handed a small melted ice cream cup for four dollars. Will never return. Would rate zero stars if possible. read more

I have eaten here many times and the food is always hot and fresh. The food is delivered to your table quickly. No problems here!
