The parking lot is very, very hard to get out of the drive thru. You basically can only turn right, then you've got to be careful, because almost all of the time when you turn, your car goes into the other lane and you've got to pull out far enough to see traffic on the left on the other side of the building. Be careful. The food has gotten so expensive, you could go to a restaurant and get something better and for about the same price, however the other place probably isn't a fast food restaurant. I stopped going there after they got rid of the chocolate ice cream because they didn't have enough room for it. The service is hit and miss as you've got mostly teenagers working there in high school. Typically the inside is pretty clean, but it's really hard to get into the tiny bathroom. There's a handicapped parking spot, but the door is definitely not handicapped friendly.

    Spoon drowning in ice cream.

Ordered a drink that tasted like rusty pipe. Got a banana split that the banana was full of bruises. What happened to pride in your work?

There was a bit of a wait in the line on a Saturday night, but it was worth it. The staff was extremely friendly and offered several samples to try current flavors. I settled on the vegan chocolate because the coconut base added a unique level of appeal that I wanted to spend more time enjoying. Prices are reasonable and you can customize your size and flavors as you desire. They offer split scoops and double scoops. They also have wine and beer available if you need a little something extra to enjoy your visit. Check out this hidden gem in downtown Corvallis! Between the friendly staff, homemade ice cream and the colorful space, you will indeed have a very delightful visit.

Ended up getting the banana bread and chamomile honeycomb flavors, both as single scoops in waffle cones. The scoop sizes are definitely generous and one scoop was enough for me. There is an option for two different flavors as a single scoop but it does cost a little extra. Both were amazing flavors. The banana bread was a nice mixture of banana and cinnamon. The chamomile honeycomb had chunks of honeycomb candy and wasn't overly sweet as you might expect from a honey dessert. Staff was friendly and okay with me asking for more information about the various flavors. Definitely will be a go to if I ever need a sweet treat!

Alright. Divine…read moreCoffee and Ice Cream is very close to my current house. In face, every time I head to the interstate, I drive right by it. This occurs most every day. Being so close to home, and me being highly addicted to caffeine, this was one of the first places I checked out when I moved here. The shack is owned by two sisters, and they have a few part time employees that help fill in the gaps. Both of the sisters are friendly and can remember your order if you've been there a couple of times. I like when this happens. The structure itself is a tiny coffee shack in the parking lot of a Dairy Mart. There are two windows to drive up to, however, one is much more popular than the other for reasons I cannot imagine. I have seen the more popular of the two windows have a line of cars, and rather than just swing around to the other, open, window, a car will choose to wait in the line instead. This is mind-boggling. But on to the review. Standard issue espresso drinks and whatnot are standard issue quality. Good, reliable, nothing flashy or fancy. With one exception. The Chocolate Malts are INSANELY good. Seriously. I have come to the conclusion that they have formulated some super secret crack-like substance that makes these things irresistible. Depending on who your barista of the day is, you will either get a stick-a-fork in it thick malt or the normal can-suck-through-straw malt. I actually really like the super thick version. Also, depending on who your barista is, you will get a small second cup of malt overflow from the blender. This is usually just a little bit that makes almost the perfect child-size serving. No charge. It may be out of the way for most non-locals, but just for the Chocolate Malts, I'd say it is well worth the detour off I-5.

The place has been around since the 70s, and you can really feel that classic charm the moment you walk in. From the vintage-style décor to the bright, fun atmosphere, it's got that nostalgic ice cream parlor vibe that's getting harder to find. The ice cream itself was fantastic--homemade and full of flavor, with a great variety to choose from. Everyone found something they loved. Finley went with a chocolate shake that hit the spot, Callum had a Rocky Road junior scoop, LaRue enjoyed the salted caramel, Emma went all in with a hot fudge sundae, and I had the blackberry cheesecake ice cream--which was incredible and definitely one I'd get again. Service was friendly and easygoing, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. It's not trying to be fancy--just a great, classic spot to grab a sweet treat and enjoy the experience. If you're in the area and want something fun, nostalgic, and genuinely good, this place is absolutely worth a stop.

We were greeted immediately and took our time looking at the flavors to decide what we wanted. I got a single cup with chocolate cheesecake and dulce de leche ice cream. My friend got a milkshake with plain chocolate ice cream. The dulce de leche was so good! The caramel ribbons were delicious and it was so creamy. The chocolate cheesecake flavor was alright, it tasted a little fake, almost like it was sugar-free. My friend said the milkshake was good and that it had the texture of a Wendy's Frosty. The staff were friendly and chatty with each other. They seemed knowledgeable about their flavors and were happy to give out up to three free samples. I didn't see a bathroom, but the Vinnie's down the street has a public uncoded bathroom. I would definitely come back here just for the dulce de leche ice cream. It's worth a trip!
