I've been to the BJ's downtown before and had a good time so we stopped in here today for some tasty ice cream. It was around 5pm on a busy day but there was no wait. We were greeted immediately and took our time looking at the flavors to decide what we wanted. I got a single cup with chocolate cheesecake and dulce de leche ice cream. My friend got a milkshake with plain chocolate ice cream. The dulce de leche was so good! The caramel ribbons were delicious and it was so creamy. The chocolate cheesecake flavor was alright, it tasted a little fake, almost like it was sugar-free. My friend said the milkshake was good and that it had the texture of a Wendy's Frosty. The staff were friendly and chatty with each other. They seemed knowledgeable about their flavors and were happy to give out up to three free samples. I didn't see a bathroom, but the Vinnie's down the street has a public uncoded bathroom. I would definitely come back here just for the dulce de leche ice cream. It's worth a trip! read more

Different cone options , and plenty of flavors to choose from. All flavors are homemade in house. Fudge and salt water taffy are also available in numerous choices and flavors. I went with my childhood favorite of one scoop bubble gum , one scoop , blue moon and my wife chose jamaican fudge and pistachio almond. I came here a few days ago, and the ice cream was delicious. My only complaint was they only let you have two flavors at a time. I had specifically said I wanted three flavors, but the man said I couldn't get three scoops in a waffle cone, so I switched it to a sundae. They didnt offer three scoops in a bowl, so I agreed to four. After the guy was scooping the ice cream, he told me " you can only have two flavors." I was kind of thrown off by that, so I agreed. But now I know to order a two scoop and a one scoop separately when coming here. I guess I had just expected it to be like 31 flavors, letting each scoop be a different flavor. We've only tried the place on 101 in Florence. A while ago... maybe a year or more ago. Not again for me. The ice cream was old (most had too many ice crystals, though it may have been in the winter. The place just looked grubby all over like the owners lost interest. Even the windows were full of handprints and longtime smudges. The helpers behind the counter were polite and friendly but that's about all I can say about it. I have no idea why yelp keeps urging me to try it. Went in today at 2pm from long drive on 101. There was a young man and 'girl' working. She was VERY RUDE, kept talking instantly to the young man she worked with. Finally after we ordered, she started to run our CC, messed it up without an apology, tried again and in frustration threw down the cc device, giving the young man a disgusted look and went into the side storage area. We were craving some ice cream and were looking for a local shop. We saw this along the 101 and pulled over. The place was pretty busy when we pulled up so we thought it would be good. They have a lot of flavors to choose from, I got a scoop of the Lemon Chiffon and the S'mores flavor. Two scoops cost my $8.25! Really! I'd say that was way over priced, especially for a cup. If they are going to charge that much, maybe they should update the interior/exterior. The other thing I wasn't too fond of is that it wasn't the cleanest facility. The lady points out what she already knew that we were there first... she's like "oh" like she didn't know. We let them go ahead because there were just the two of them and four of us. I'm giving this 2 starts because the ice cream was actually good (almost walked out). The crappy service was the shiftiest I've gotten in a long time. $7 for a junior waffle cone (2 small balls = 1 scoop) Eek! That's expensive in my book . I had Huckleberry which was creamy but had some ice chunks in it. The dipping cabinets do look like they needed defrosting a while back.. lots of ice on the sides so don't think they're keeping temperature well. The servers didn't wash hands first either before scooping.. just went from phone to scooping and holding my cone... no gloves. The shop needs some revamping to attract locals all year round..it looks tired but I'm sure the past 2 years have been difficult so I can empathize with small biz struggling. read more

Its a good thing this is 4 hours away or I would be there every day. The ice cream is all made there and the flavors are different than you would find at other places....and really good! Someone mentioned the prices were a bit high but I found that the scoops are huge...like Rice Hill huge and the taste is awesome so I didn't mind! read more

The lady who works here does not tie her hair back so when she is scooping ice cream her hair is dangling into the bucket. It made me sick so I tried the taffy. The Taffy was very old and hard.
