This last Saturday was my siblings birthday and I was tasked with grabbing an ice cream cake. I have pretty extreme social anxiety and knew I would have to interact with someone on two different days (ordering day and pick up day). Ordering was fairly seamless. Ordered an Oreo blizzard sheet cake. With "Happy Birthday [insert name]" in pink. It was to have the classic white frosting border with Oreo cookies and chocolate drizzle. Come pick up day. It was the Oreo blizzard sheet cake with a red border. That's it. Given it had the happy birthday and name but not at all what I expected. I contemplated taking the cake as is, as I hate complaining about anything but decided to speak to someone about possibly getting it fixed. I know it sounds ridiculous but it mentally took all that I had to explain what was needed and why it wasn't what I had ordered/wanted. I was told they would try their best to fix it. I waited 45 minutes to be called to the counter and told that they couldn't fix it. Instead, they gave me 3 round cakes to give the equivalent amount and of the original sheet cake. The cakes were exactly what I wanted. I was given my money back (without prompt, I insisted against it). I was also helped with the cakes taken to my car and a hugged the sweet women that helped make this whole experience complete. I wish I knew your names but I would vouch for both of you any day of the week for your pure kindness and humanity toward the emotionally wrecked woman that I was that day. Going through the drive through, order cheeseburger with a blizzard and a six piece chicken strip. Get given my cheeseburger and the blizzard that has an ungodly amount of ice cream in it, as well as my six piece being swapped for a 4 piece. Very poor experience and will not be coming back read more

Dairy Queen is now wimping out on quantity. Charge over $6 dollars for a Signature Banana Split and now give you less ice cream. Looked nothing like the picture. Was pathetic. Manager said they meet a "product weight requirement " that they are to follow. Sounds like a decision to screw the customer for profit. read more

They gave me my food from the trash! I ordered food from the drive thru. They asked me to pull forward into spot 1. After 15 minutes I went in to ask where my food was and they couldn't find it. After another 10 minutes a kid came out and gave me my bag. When I got home i realized the bag was ripped and scrunched. I knew immediately it had been pulled from the garbage. There were 8 kids and nobody seemed to be in charge. Everyone in the lobby was upset. read more

For a staple fast food place, no excuse for such awful customer service. One of the slowest drive throughs ive ever experienced. You have to teach them how to make a moo late almost every time or they make it wrong. Again this is a menu item they have had for years. Tried to buy one a couple of days ago, and was told they didnt have vanilla ice cream. There are 2 other dairy queen locations in town as well as 2 different restaurant supply locations, and thier management is so lazy they run out of ice cream in July?? Gave it another try today. Now the excuse was the slushy maker was broken. I didnt ask for a slushy. I tried to order a moo late. Whatever. Then had to wait 20 more minutes to be able to exit there drive through, because again, slowest in town. So yeah, go there at your own risk i guess, but i wont be. anymore. read more

I ordered a Medium Mixing Bowl Mashup Blizzard. This consists of soft serve ice cream, brownie batter, and cookie dough pieces. My blizzard had a grand total of 3 pieces of cookie dough throughout the entire thing. Not even exaggerating, I counted 3 pieces. read more

This is the third time I've ordered an oreo blizzard with chocolate ice cream and extra oreos which I am charged for but yet there is absolutely no oreos in my blizzard. I guess when you ask for extra of something, that means they won't give you any of it?! Absolutely irritating! I won't be going back to dairy queen, this used to be our family treat every weekend but not anymore. I could deal with the 15 minute wait we had today even tho there wasn't anyone in the drive threw behind us and only 4 people inside. The drive thru is always incredibly slow here. I just went here and when my fiancée handed the woman at the window his money, she decided to take her time and chat with her coworker. Then when we got our food, the root beer was watered down. And when we went to give it back, she knew it was watered down. We also asked for fry sauce, we got our fry sauce but in stead of gravy in my chicken strip basket, I got fry sauce. We never said no gravy. So I'm very disappointed and unsatisfied in my visit here today. read more

Very disappointing experience. LONG wait for food, while listening to a teenager behind the counter dropping audible F-bombs while making people's food. Upon looking around for a manager, I realized there appeared to be no employees over the age of 18 in the place. And, frankly, it showed. The place was a mess, both behind the counter and out on the floor. Most of the employees were busy mingling with each other, while attempting to fill orders, instead of focusing on getting the job done expeditiously. Finally, my order came up wrong and it wasn't prepared to go, as asked, which only added to the opportunity for the ice cream to melt before getting home. I'll NEVER visit this establishment again. As I drove up to the drive thru order window, 30 min before the store quitting time ... they told me they could not serve ice cream because they were cleaning the ice cream machine! So I asked them where the closest DQ was... They did not know and after looking it up they told me Gage Blvd in Richland, WA. (over 6 miles away!) When there are closer DQ's in Pasco, WA and Columbia center!!! So... GREAT! now I have to wait for the 6 cars in front of me to get their orders before I can get out of the drive thru!!! absolutely horrible cashier couldn't get my order right. asked for sauce and tossed with extra sauce on the side and two baskets of cheese curds and what I was handed was a regular basket and a small container of sauce on the side and a large curd , took about 20 minutes to get my food and it was wrong and another 20 minutes to get the right food. this has been the first time this has happened to me but it's happened to friends and family, no reason it should have been wrong in the first place read more

My son HAD to have a brownie sundae! While there, I purchased the side salad and the Kansas city BBQ. The sandwich was tasty, sauce good....but of you are going to get it to reheat, best to ask for slaw on the side...(or get it from Porters....there wasn't much of it). Worst DQ in Tri. Went through drive thru and was handed melting blizzards and cones that dripped all over the car. Ordered a plain burger and after clarifying multiple times that I wanted just lettuce tomato no cheese was handed a cheeseburger with all toppings. Dr pepper was completely flat and tasted like water. Went back to the drive thru to ask for a replacement burger and got it, went back home, only to realize they hadn't given me my credit card back. Called them and drove back a 3rd time to get my credit card that they forgot to give me the previous 2 times I was there. Horrible service - hope this place gets shuts down, Richland DQs way better service and you'll actually get what you order, your credit card, and ice cream that hasn't completely melted. We ordered three ice cream cakes when they had half price cakes on Mondays in August. The staff people were friendly and offered to write on the cakes for me when I picked them up. However, didn't offer me a bag to carry the cakes in or open any doors, so it was a pain to get three cakes out to the car by myself. One of the worst experiences at this restaurant. Went through the drive thru wasn't given a receipt, my ice creams were thrown in a bag and they were melting inside the bag. The gentlemen that took my card handed it back and closed the window. No thank u no have a good day nothing. I had to sit at the window and stare at them to ask for a receipt and they said they would have to call a manager because she messed up on my order so it didn't print one. If I could leave negative stars I would! I ate lunch at this DQ 9/4/18. A lady and man walk in and the lady is carrying a Chihuahua. They sat by me at first and then they found another table (thank God!). She's carried that dog all around the restaurant including the restroom AND through the order line. None of the workers said anything to her. I went and talked to the Manager on shift and asked if it was ok to have a dog in the restaurant. She said "we'll no, but I don't what to do. The owner says i can't ask if it's a service dog so I have to just go with it". I said "are you kidding me? I'll bet the health department would have a different view on that issue and that's my next stop after I leave here". She said "I'll call the owner and ask what I should do but he says I can't ask if it's a service dog". I said "she's packing that dog under her arm, that's no service dog" she said "I know". I told her if pets are allowed in this restaurant, I won't ever come back. She said "I'm sorry and I understand". This an incredible violation of all health department rules. People that take advantage of the service dog clause of acceptance should be ashamed of themselves. If you really can't part from your pet, use the drive-thru! read more
