Went to the Kennewick Panda Express last week and had the Orange Chicken and chow mien plate and it was the normal drive thru/take out size. Today, 1-21-26 I went back and ordered the exact same order in a MUCH SMALLER container (about 30% less in size) but the price was the same. $11.46 with tax. I'm DONE! This was a rip off and the food was not very good. The noodles were dry and pastie. I got ZERO condiments with my order as well. I'll NEVER BE BACK! Employees are very kind. I waited over 30 minutes in the drive through for my food. I was a bit frustrated because It was late and I just got off work. After getting my food I went to the gas station where I realized I was missing one of my sides. I couldn't get ahold of anyone on the phone so I went back to talk to them. They were very very kind despite my very obvious frustrations and I appreciate their kindness and apologies. I will say that there is an issue with the long wait and missing food for sure but the two young people who helped inside were positive despite their long lines and busy rush. The food was good as always. My problem was with the service. I placed on online order to go. 9 bowls total. The food order was accurate, but I requested utensils, napkins, and all the listed sauces. When the order was picked up, it was in sealed paper bags and wasn't inspected at the time. When the 9 bowl were unpacked, we found there were only 7 forks and no sweet /sour sauce as requested. And only 4 fortune cookies. Taking a few seconds more to double check these common sense things, could have meant the difference between a 2 star review and a 5 star review. read more

Food average. Lacks portion control. Charges for bags, should be free and deductible from business taxes as an advertising expense since they are logo items and advertise the brand. Paid extra eight cents for bag. Gave cashier a dollar bill, surprise change machine didn't work. Asked about change from till and cashier stated she didn't know. Bag cost $1.00 . Poorly trained. Maybe as they slow lines and orders down in pursuit of the eight cents extra per order, the order quantity will go down and greatly show a loss for this move. read more

They told me to drive to the parking lot to wait, because they couldn't correct the mistake. They also didn't have my meal ready. Good food and awful service are the rule. Another rude, dismissive cashier rang up my order today. The man in front of me had several orders and had to think about each one individually. I patiently waited. The order behind me then was filled because my box was closed and placed on the shelf before the second entree was placed in it. I patiently waited. Since the staff mistakenly closed the food tray it looked like all the other completed orders. I patiently indicated there was only one entree in the box. At the check out the man that had been ordering for over five minutes was still ordering at the register. I waited patiently. The cashier looked at me next and I ordered rangoons. She seemingly ignored me and told me to turn the food box around so she could bring up the order. You would think she would ring up the order after she added the rangoons. Did she not hear me? She ordered me to turn the box around and then marched off to fetch the rangoons. As my mother used to say. "James. If looks could kill". That was my response to be reminded to clean my room. My displeasure was obvious when my mother reminded me of chores. This cashier was treating like a stray dog annoying her . Several others have complained about poor service and rudeness in the Google maps platform The owner has replied to none of us. The customers keep coming. The food is good. The volume of customers is always large. The location is obviously very profitable. The owner likely doesn't care about complaints. Customers are often transient because of the location on the outskirts of the Tri-Cities at the most common entrance/exit in the area. A rare alternative to burgers and still considered fast food. The food is recommended if you don't mind being treated like a stray dog and you might pay for two entrees and only receive one. Don't expect much more than food dropped on your tray. The staff is horrible. Enjoy the food. You are forced to suffer insolent rude staff often messing up your order. read more

Service was slow. Seemed slower than others I've been in. I and my wife were a bit appalled. The customer ahead of us had a mistake on his order, either his or the server. He had a plate of white rice and an entree. The customer noticed this at this point, when he pointed out he had wanted fried rice, the employee walked back to the rice cooker and scoop the rice into the steamed rice cooker. The rice had been sitting on his plate and had clearly been touching whatever it was that was already sitting on his plate. Sauce and all. It probably didn't help that the employee was scowling and not friendly at all. I don't expect everyone to be bubbly and cheery, but cool and professional is not a hardship and is expected. When it was time for me to deal with the grouch, she plated what I wanted, but she didn't ask if I wanted any egg rolls or cream cheese rangoons, there was no suggestion selling, just there you go and walked off. This was not the way she treated the people after us. She asked them . The cashier didn't ask, so I didn't place an order for them. I've been to a bunch of Panda Express's around the United States. This is the only one where the white steamed rice tastes amazing and not like reheated minute rice. The honey walnut shrimp is outstanding, never dried out, or overcooked like others have had. I've also tried their cream cheese Rangoon's, and spring rolls, both were very good. Spring rolls stayed even crunchy when I got home 20 minutes later after ordering them. Food always seems fresh. I go at different times, and it's not been bad yet. I've ate there probably 5 times in the last two months. I do sometimes see people in front of me, in their car not wearing a mask. They still serve them though, even though they have signs everywhere that say they won't. They need to keep their employees safe, and truly enforce it. read more

Panda has been a long time favorite of ours, especially the location on Ely. We went through the drive thru at 6pm tonight and we're treated horribly. We could not understand the person as she would invite every word we said and go back to fried or white rice no matter how many times we told her. She was rude, not paying any attention, and definitely got me irritated. Once we get to the window and pay everything seems cool. Until that gal says in a snotty tone "next time wear a face cover or we won't serve you". That's totally ok, obviously I was in the wrong and I had one in hands reach, but dang do not order or snarl at me to do anything if you would like to keep getting my money. Good Panda location that had everything stocked and fresh on a super busy Friday afternoon. There was plenty of seating available and the tables and floor were kept nice and clean. Service was friendly and helpful. My Dad just wanted a heap of chow mein and nothing else for his two entrees and they were able to do that without asking a bunch of questions to make sure they understood him correctly. My favorite entrees that I always get are the Kung Pao chicken and Beijing Beef, which are both super yummy and just spicy enough. I tried their Wok Seared Steak and Shrimp once and thought it was really good considering that it's one of their lower calorie items but did not like that it contained potatoes. read more

I've gone to this Panda Express many times in the past and current year and it never fails to hit the spot right! I travel frequently and must say that this particular Panda Express has been the best one I've eaten at food quality wise. Of course, I've had my share of bad food but nothing horrible, all within safe edibility. The staff is very friendly and kind! I go to this spot so frequently that the waiting staff, and even a cook, has remembered my order and I (granted I get the same thing every time, and it's a very simple order). After making on online order, I arrived at the store to wait in the drive thru behind a car with obvious issues. The customer played 20 questions with the store staff as I sat waiting for 13 minutes in line. When I finally got up to the window I advised the store clerk to have customers with issues pull around next time they have an issue so they don't hold up the entire drive thru line. She just laughed at me. When I finally got home with my food, there were only 4 pieces of chicken in my bowl!!! I will never order from this store again!!! read more

Good variety of choices, some healthier then others, if you want. Drive through is quick and good on accuracy. Many don't seem to know you can split your Chow Mein & Rice 50/50. I've never had a rude employee, most all seem to be busy and helpful in providing good quick service and keeping the restaurant clean. But when it's busy they need to get out and wipe the tables down a bit more often. The only downside is several times I've arrived to find one item nearly out, they always promise to bring it out to me once it's finished cooking, I've yet to have that done - I always have to go ask. Great fried rice, veggies were undr done, but i came home and resteamed them and they were fine. I had my upper teeth pulled the week prior so the veggie deal was partly on me.
