Currently sitting in a booth at this restaurant, terrible experience. Husband's dutch baby was served without the required lemon, butter and powdered sugar. So while it cooled off and deflated. Plus what is it with the maple syrup that comes with it. My son's French was so dry he sent it back. We had complained to our waitress and she just shrugged it off and smiled! No visit from management no real apologies. So we will have to try the other restaurant in Richland next time. That would be my suggestion to you. read more

I would not recommend for a family of more than 5 they only have one table and all the other are booths so their is no space and the manager said they can't open the back part because they don't have staff that's crazy to me because at Denny's there's only like 2 waitresses for the whole restaurant and their fine and IHOP is full of staff as well maybe the restaurant pay is the problem because everything there is very expensive compared to the other breakfast dinners plus when I expressed my concern to the manager she shrugged it off when I told her, she didn't care about what I thought so sad that they prefer to lose business and maybe that's one of the reasons they don't have staff or are making money NEEDS BETTER MANAGEMENT!! read more

This place was clean and very nice looking inside and out. That's where the positivity ends. I ordered a big breakfast order for myself, the eggs were a pile of dry, overcooked, tasteless mess. The sausage patties on the menu described them as premium sounding, they were not. It was 2 dinky dry disks. The only thing I asked to be overly cooked was the hashbrowns and they came typical when they should have been crispy as requested ugh to top that off the price for the meal was nearly $25 !!! I typically go elsewhere in Kennewick but wanted to try this place for some time now. Huge regret. I've never tried this chain out, but since I was on the road and hungry, I decided to pull up and check this place out. I think one big positive of this place was that all the staff were super friendly and the waitresses who weren't serving me were friendly and asked if I needed anything. I think the food here could have been better though. The portions are huge, which I sometimes don't like, especially if the taste of the food isn't amazing. The omelette came out piping hot, but I didn't necessarily like the taste of it that much. The salsa on top kind of reminded me of marinara sauce which is a taste I don't really want on an omelette. I think I liked the side of pancakes better and was eating that more than the omelette itself. Overall not a bad experience, the omelette was edible lol, but I don't think I'd order omelette here again read more

This is our favorite breakfast spot in town! We always get the breakfast sandwich with cheddar cheese and thick cut bacon. It comes served on sourdough bread with this magical sauce that makes this sandwich irresistible. It's served with pancakes and breakfast potatoes, so a lot of food for the price. It's enough for my daughter and I to split and still need a box to go. Their coffee is amazing, they have their own signature roast which you can only find at their restaurants. The orange juice is all fresh squeezed right there in front of you if you sit at the bar rail. read more

We were passing through and this place was recommended by young-man working at our hotel. We arrived approximately 9:30 am. We were sat right away in a booth. The decor was rustic, cool cast iron pan chandler. I had the sausage and peppers jack cheese omelette with buttermilk pancakes. The omelette had a pocket pie appearance (see picture). I cut into it and the cheese oozed out... yummy. The sausage was mild. overall lots of cheese, very mild flavors. The buttermilk pancakes...tasted like buttermilk pancakes. My spouse had the eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy. The eggs were cooked as ordered. The gravy was slightly sweet (I am not a fan of sweet gravy) and sausage very mild. Daniel was our waiter. He was quick on taking our order, another waitress brought our food out. He walked by filling customers coffee cups but didn't looked our direction, I had to get his attention to get a refill. He brought us the wrong check....it took 5-10 before he came back so I could tell him. In that time I had to go find the bus/hostess to get a to-go container. My spouse was getting fidgety waiting for our credit card to be returned so I sent him out to check the trailer. Yes, I would recommend it. Visited the Pancake House for breakfast with family. One thing that impressed me was the server. This young woman was able to make adjustments to our orders to accommodate smaller children in the party in whipcrack fashion. Her quick handling of our needs showed her professionalism and knowledge of the menu and kitchen. Plus, she went to great lengths to get a cell phone picture of our large party. Could not be more impressed with this OPH location, and I've seen many. By no means does this restaurant compare to your local Denny's but it's the quality of food that comes to your table. It's amazing. I've been to many OPH locations in Oregon and Washington, this location is by far the most spacious, with tons of booths and plenty of benches in the waiting room. It's inviting and fun too, you can see into the kitchen AND they have outlets and USB plugs at some of the tables! Wow. I highly recommend trying an omelette. Irish is my personal favorite! Whether you have a sweet tooth or want a hardy meal, the Original Pancake House has been my favorite place since they opened a location where I used to live on the west side of the state. The bacon and white cheddar omelette will forever be my favorite thing (likely big enough to share as it comes with a side). Sourdough pancakes are delicious. The tropical syrup is wonderful with them, give it a taste! The oj is literally 100% orange, squeezed every day. The food is fantastic. Amazing breakfast sandwich! We ordered to go and popped it in the air fryer when we got home to crisp the bread and warm it back up and it was delicious!!! I gave a 3 star based on our past experience that I forgot to Yelp. If I had remembered to complete it, it would have been a 1 star. The only thing that was not good was our experience back in July, I think. We dined in and it was HOT! We were told the A/C was down. On top of that the kitchen staff were singing so loud it was very disturbing to our dining experience and it was swearing, which was very offensive! My mandarin crepe was just not what I expected. All it had was a crepe and mandarin oranges. For that price it was a HUGE disappointment. I can make something like that at home for 1/4 the cost. Maybe upgrade that recipe? Disgusting. Got regular pancakes and there was a hair legit COOKED INTO the actual batter. Then that goes away and I ask for a plain biscuit. It comes out miniature sized compared to a regular biscuit. She brings the bill and tells me they come the pancakes but then I see a charge for toast with preserves. Ummm I didn't order toast? We were looking for breakfast during a long, multi-state drive and figured this would be a good option. Thankfully we have eaten at their restaurants in other states because if this was our first experience with The Original Pancake House it would have been our last. They were NOT very busy, with two or three other tables being served but the entire staff of the restaurant acted like it was a full house. Our waiter was clearly overwhelmed by having to take care of the few customers in the restaurant and forgot items multiple times. One of our breakfasts was delivered to the wrong table but that shouldn't have been a surprise since the food runner tried delivering their food to our table. She took our breakfast back to the kitchen & several minutes later delivered both breakfasts to our table. We needed to ask for condiments multiple times, simple items such as ketchup, Tabasco sauce and pepper. When we finally started to eat our breakfast both were cold which wasn't a surprise since one of our orders circled the dining room before being paired up with the other breakfast that was no doubt sitting and waiting. While the food was good it wasn't as good as prior visits to their Las Vegas location and the poor service makes this location a never visit during future trips through Kennewick. read more
