Very poorly run Dairy Queen. We waited in the drive though for a half hour. Very slow and very inefficient.

This Dairy Queen saved the day! At the last minute, I called them to make a gender reveal cake- I spoke with several staff members and they were all so helpful. If you have a sweet tooth and you want some ice cream with brownie Chunks, Reese cup chunks, gobs of peanut butter drizzled or splattered on top and you're thinking " OH MAN this is going to be great" ..... don't come to this dairy queen! What I got was a blended nightmare. What I got was a peanut butter milkshake with brownie and Reese cup powder pieces. They actually blended and shredded everything into 1 million pieces as if the brownie and Reese cup went through a blender for five minutes. A whole whopping six dollar waste of my time with a craving that will not be satisfied. Surprise surprise I must've been Pranked! ‍ I was thinking all the way home , I hope I don't get diabetes after eating this because it's definitely not worth it. They are slow, but severely understaffed every time I'm there. But they seem to be very positive and polite. At least the ones I've interacted with. The few times I've been there since moving to Logan the food was always hot and fresh. But like I said, definitely a staffing issue. read more

I needed something quick. I ordered a chili dog with onions as I was not going to be around others during my afternoon. No, the dog and chili sauce were lukewarm. Yikes! As a local I feel horrible for the tourists that come to our DQ. The trash cans are always overflowing and gross, the outside tables are never clean, benches are broken, and the wait is soooo long. No matter if you're in the drive thru or ordering inside plan to wait 20-25 minutes. There is so much turnover with the workers that they're always training someone new. The computer scanners don't work so you can't collect your DQ points or use any of your earned points to purchase anything either. Head to Fox's Treats and Treasures, SIBS, Hocking Hills Froyo, Shorty's, or the ice cream shop on 664S toward the caves. read more

They are VERY stingy with the amount of candy/ goodies they put in your blizzard. My family ordered 3 blizzards of different varieties and this was the case for all. I ordered an Oreo and health blizzard. I was about 8 bites in before I tasted my first small piece of heath. I was about to go ask if she had forgotten to put any in. The lady got our order wrong and then I saying that we didn't order it when it was all her fault. there's flies everywhere and the straws were disgusting. Went in around 8 pm with a group of 5 people. My buddy ordered a banana split and asked specifically for a split with caramel instead of pineapple, but still received with pineapple. I ordered a coney with an Oreo blizzard. I received my blizzard made by the same young girl with literally one half of a cookie crushed up and mostly ice cream. I asked if I could get more cookies in my blizzard, and the manager in a smart alec tone told her employee to give me cookies in a separate cup and hand my blizzard back to me. When I asked the manager for the cookies in my ice cream because I ordered a blizzard, she gave me an attitude and said she couldn't do it. I then suggested dumping the blizzard into a bigger cup with my cookies and stirring, the manager yelled at me in front of people in the store and told me it was against health code. Being a restaurant GM for the last 5 years, this was by far and away the worst food service experience I've ever been a part of. read more

I am so embarassed that I frequented DQ so many times during my hocking hills trip. I should've cooked in the cabin, but whatever I was on vacation so I'm justifying it. I've never been to a DQ before, and holy crap what the heck these 5 buck lunches give so much food (chicken tenders with gravy AND a hot fudge sundae? wowzers). Boyfriend introduced me to the wonders of Cherry Arctic Rush drinks. I could drink that and eat fried cheese curds all day long. tl;dr Cherry Arctic Rushes are the bomb. read more

They have terrible attitudes and take no pride in their work. They will flip only one blizzard and give you the rest of your blizzards with the consistency of water. We ordered a royal cheesecake blizzard and it was virtually only vanilla ice cream with one strawberry. It's sad that Dairy Queen can't even find workers who want to be there and do their job properly. Worst experience ever! The girl at the drive thru was so rude and didn't listen! I ordered a meal including a sundae and she didn't give us one so I had to drive back and get it, then I get home and the honey mustard I asked for twice was not there. When I spoke with the manager she was very snotty and unapologetic! I worked customer service for years and I would never treat a customer this poorly! Stick to local restaurants around here they are amazing and always treat their customers with respect! read more

We stopped here on a Sunday evening whilst on our way to Indiana. They were quite busy, so we did have a wait for the drive-thru. The clerk was very pleasant, and made sure that she was getting our orders right. At the window, she offered us dog treats, which yhe grrs readily accepted.
