I am a recent resident from Alaska..My daughter loves DQ. We normally visit a different location but decided since we were on Forsyth Rd to go in. We never go in and decided to this time the drive through was too long. Oh ny goodness the manager Shuntia Story was super helpful. She helped me download their app in spite of how busy she was. My daughter couldn't decide on a treat..She came from behind the counter just to show her the different ice cream options. That made my day. I was like you are a mom aren't you. She responded yes and I said I can tell. I don't know if she knew my adult daughter was special needs or not but that extra over the top customer service was appreciated. This location is a hit or miss. Some of the staff enjoy their job while others are rude & barely open their mouths to say anything. I visited yesterday and had to wait in the drive thru for 15 minutes to turn around & wait another 10 for fresh food. I ordered the $7 chicken strip basket deal, but my fries were old. The guy at the window was new & definitely overwhelmed so I did feel bad sending it back, but they should've known better than serve someone that. I went inside to wait on my food; the manager on duty was upset she had to remake my order, but oh well because the food was old & I wasn't accepting it. Inside was clean though. I was recently attacked by the rep who was preparing my food. He grabbed me by my neck and threw me out of two glass circle k doors. He is a cook there, I have suffered neck and back injuries and have not received any call from upper management. Unbelievable- I have been here many times. I won't be back. I asked for a blizzard with a side of caramel at the drive through. They said ok. When I got to the window, now caramel. When I asked the the staff person went to get it. Then came back and said they don't do that. I live in the town. Have been to this location many times and gotten caramel. I mentioned that. She said no ma'am. Really? She probably hasn't worked there more than a year. Than she said the owner said no they won't do it. Ok- I returned my ice cream and asked for my money back. Wow. Just wow. I won't be back. If you are looking for great ice cream friendly customer service with caramel on top or on the side with better ice cream and more flavors drive the .25 to the square and go to scoops. Worst Dairy Queen ever. Cranky employees. I attempted to order a Strawberry Banana Smoothie with fries. They were out of fries, cookie dough, strawberries, and bananas. The interior of this store is big for being in a gas station. The restrooms are filthy. They have an 80 on their health inspection. I do not recommend this Dairy Queen. Stay away. read more

All I can say is where do they train these folks on how to make ice cream cones? I ordered one of the most simplest things on the menu, a LARGE vanilla cone with sprinkles, and ended up with something that looked like a pile of mess! And the worse thing was that this wasn't my first bad experience. I only came back to give them the benefit of the doubt. Never again. I have had great experiences each time I go! The staff is friendly and fast ! The food is always good as well.

We stopped here on a road trip and the wait time for the drive thru was completely unreasonable. 10 minutes and only 1 car moved to the window. Multiple cars got out of line while we waited just to make our order. We finally gave up and drove next door for Taco Bell where we ordered and got our food before any movement took place in the DQ line. Really disappointing! read more

The staff was friendly and I was very happy with the amount of goodies in my blizzard. The wait was short and the staff got all of our orders accurate. I like that this location shared space with a gas station so you can easily swing by during a trip. The facility appeared clean and well maintained. My boyfriend and I came to this place and it was not the best experience. I had ordered the summer berry cheesecake blizzard. When it was first given to us, there were barely any blueberries. So we had asked to get that fixed. Then my bf ordered the strawberry cheesecake blizzard and it took about 15 min to get that one. They had totally forgot about making his blizzard even after he went up there 3 times. And when we had gotten his blizzard, the strawberry syrup was all at the top and had to mix it ourselves. If I wanted an ice cream I would've ordered an ice cream and not paid 3 dollars for the sundae. I wanted the fudge because I am pregnant and was craving it. Went in after dinner to get ice cream. We all ended up getting blizzards. The M&M, the outrageous Reese's, cotton candy, cookie dough, and he summer berry cheesecake. I am obsessed with the Summer Berry cheesecake blizzard. So much so I add extra berries and extra cheesecake. All the kids loved it and he service was friendly and fast. read more

Really great memories here. Quick service and good service. Food isn't the best fast food I've ever had but it will do when your craving more than just sweets. Nice prices compared to like Marble Slabs or some places. Try it out. Also they have buy one get one free blizzards periodically so check on it when you stop by. Interior is great for a gas station addition here on bass rd. We ate inside and forgot we were at a gas station. read more

If I could give this awful restaurant negative stars, I would. Worst customer service; employees couldn't care less.

Paaaaainfully slow. Every time I've come through the drive-thru, someone is already waiting at the speaker, and nobody inside is saying anything to them. I've waited 5-7 mins at the drive-thru just about every time I've come here. I'm actually sitting in line as I write this, and the person ahead of me has not yet been spoken to. read more

The cashier stood and looked at me like she either couldn't speak or did not know how to. Never asked if she could take my order. I asked if she was ready for me and she mumbled uh huh. Never once did she she say one thing to me. She took my card typed the number in, handed it back. I said thank you and again she mumbled uh huh. No one in the food preparation area had on anything to keep hair out of food. Nor did anyone have on gloves. The young man making the ice cream couldnt speak clearly enough for me or any other customer to understand. Took at least 8 minutes to get three ice creams in a cup and we were the only order he had. WOW DAIRY QUEEN this is pretty pathetic. Lastly, I asked for a cup For water. I got the cup and on my receipt it reads 1 FREE WATER 0.25 correct me if I'm Wrong but the last time I checked, free meant 0.00. The booths and tables look as if they haavent been wiped all day. I used to come here often, but this was the last straw, I ordered a mint Oreo milkshake". The receipt read chocolate mint chips, however when I received my shake, it was a plain Oreo shake, I asked them to change it, they took it back, and waited by the window (I saw the person standing there) then opened it and handed it back, the same plain Oreo shake. I have gotten the mint Oreo shake there before, but I've never had to send it back twice. read more
