Don't know why anyone would order food other than ice cream here. Food is 3rd rate at best and there are a couple better choices within a few hundred yards. I won't make that mistake again. Ice cream is fine, but the DQ Blizzard is the highest priced of all its similar competition. Dry burgers probably cooked much earlier in the day. read more

Excessive wait times Rude customer service Definitely don't recommend this location. showed up for some ice cream about 9:50. Ordered a med blizzard and a banana split with strawberry syrup, paid at the window as we pulled up. Waited 10 minutes, they opened the window and asked for more money (understandable was pretty busy) watched them back our items, set them on the counter next to the window waited 20 minutes after that, they finally gave us our items but the banana spilt was wrong. (normally acceptable but my husband is allergic to chocolate) asked them to correct it specifying he is allergic, manager on duty rolled her eyes and proceeded to remake it, leaving the window cracked just enough for us to hear her talking shit about us to her coworkers, finally got what we asked for around 10:50. read more

Horrible customer service. I went through car service to try and order and waiting for 10 min everyone that was in line waited and no answer. I ended up calling the store to ask if they were open only for an employee to say " I don't know what you talking about. hold on . Easily the worst DQ I've ever been to. The drive through is INSANELY slow. Only 3 cars in the drive through and it took 30 minutes for me to even get to the broken speaker to try to give my order. Only reason I didn't leave was because my pregnant wife is craving soft pretzels at 10pm and there is no where else to go. This place needs to be shut down, fixed and opened correctly. read more

Horrible! They mess up even the most simple orders. Online orders, they are literally written out for them. The chicken strips have gotten smaller and smaller. Just do your self a favor and go to the DQ on the other side of town. read more

Found a hair in my blizzard once I got home. Ordered 2 small blizzards-an Oreo mint and a thin mint. Got home and realized that I'd been given a small mint chip and a mini brownie blizzard. Not very happy with this as I paid for 2 smalls. At the very least make them the same size!! Found a hair about 4 bites in. We both have long dark hair, animals have short straight hair...this hair was curly at the end and about 2 inches long...definitely not ours. If you want ice cream find somewhere else...definitely not worth the $8. read more

Went inside to place an order and eat in. Saw 4 employees working, cooking and taking orders for the drive thru. We stood at counter for 5-10 minutes with no one willing to take our order. Finally I loudly announced we were going elsewhere since DQ does not want our business. Still no acknowledgement from staff so we left. My advice is to eat anywhere else. read more

the employees were polite even though the line was all the way around the building food was good but the ice cream was amazing exactly what I expect from a DQ and easily the cleaner and nicer one of the 2 in manhattan, although most of the employees look like teens there behavior and maturity was outstanding read more

Most definitely the slowest service I've ever seen out of any type of restaurant. Messed up with our order as well as the four orders before us. My visit was burnt fried mushrooms & a root beer float missing much of the root beer! I don't know if that's what is expected from here, but back home in our home town Bluestreak ice cream stop this would had never been an pathetic issue! Paid over $6.00 for crap! Never again!!!! A clump of ice cream i was given a straw for, burnt taste in my mouth w burnt chicken pieces in the bottom & no receipt! Soo not happy! Fly farm! Unbelievable amount of houseflies in the restaurant. Had ice cream and it was adequate... But it's hard to mess up an Oreo Blizzard. I would, however, hesitate ordering a meal here. There is also an odor that I can't immediately identify - it's somewhere between old cooking grease and body odor. I'll never darken their doorstep again. read more

I've been through many times, it's a 50/50 shot if I'm going to have an issue or not there. I drove through once and they made me turn off my car while it was cold enough to have snow on the ground so they could "hear me better" because they told me my car was loud but when I turned off my car their sign was making a very loud ringing noise and I had to sit in the cold. read more

Service was friendly and fast. Night shift has some hard workers. All was clean when I went - floors, tables, bathrooms.

The girl manager at the Manhattan location is the reason I will never return to DQ. she lied about the prices and could not figure out the difference between sizes of ice cream cakes. She was unhelpful, rude and wrote with such poor craftsmanship on my congratulatory cake that I did not even give it to the recipient. awful experience and bad service. read more

Too many flies hanging out inside. The floors were pretty dirty as well. The food is always good but the cleanliness definitely needs work! The restrooms are no different. If they would clean up these things it would greatly improve the quality of the restaurant. read more

Just as bad as the east side location. Avoid both. DQ is standard fast food & that's fine but these MHK DQ's are awful.

It's hard to screw up dairy queen ice cream but this place is DIRTY. My three year old walked in and said "mom it stinks in here!" and I couldn't agree more. The walls were dirty, the tables were sticky, and the high chair for my baby was disgusting. And what's sad is that I saw an employee mopping the floors while we were there....but there's still something seriously wrong with the cleanliness of that place. The manager/owner really should consider closing for a day of employee training on how to clean and then pay them overtime to hose down the entire establishment. It's really that bad. read more
