The establishment is super clean? Even the bathroom was kept nice. We will definitely keep this place in mind when coming through town next time!

We arrived around 5pm and the place was empty with the exception of one family, but drive thru was consistent. We were able to place our orders quickly. Even though the combo upgrade (fries or tots + drink) is very affordable, overall meals are a tad on the pricier side. We ordered a basic cheeseburger combo and the Bacon Cowboy highland burger combo, total was $29, not including tip. The place has a "not updated since 1990", but clean vibe. Food came out quickly and our customized meals came out correctly. We were a tad underwhelmed with the look of the burgers...for the price we were hoping for a wow factor. The burger patties were pretty thin and overcooked (more chewy than melt in your mouth). Toppings were fresh and the buns were soft. Tater tots and fries were perfectly cooked, though fries come out unsalted which I'm not sure was intentional or not (I appreciated the option to salt to taste). Overall, a pleasant experience and I wouldn't mind trying other items on the menu.

The local hummus was creamy and came with warm pita and veggies. The steak salad was huge and flavorful. Jen - the owner/bartender is just an absolute doll and such a wonderful personality. What a gem of a place. We can't wait to come back and enjoy again.

They do tend to get pretty busy on the weekends, so you may have to wait for a table, but it is well worth it! If you do have to wait, they have a couch seating area for you to wait and have a drink! We have tried most everything on the menu and have not had anything we don't like. If you try the zombie chick wings...they are HOT HOT! All of the wings are huge and come with tons of toppings! The burgers are all amazing and made with local middleton made bread. The pretzel is a bit spendy but comes with a pound of brats too so it is superrrrr filling! If you've never had tater kegs before...get them!!!! They are my go to carby-cheesy fix! Update! Any burger can be swapped out for a grilled or breaded chicken patty! The breaded is AMAZING!

My wife and I came here for the first time today, after I read the reviews. We live in Star, and…read morethis restaurant is only about 10 minutes from our home. Located right on 44, it seems to have plenty of parking in the back and a few parking spots in the front. It is a free-standing building, nice enough curb appeal, and inside the seating is ample, with a combination of booths and tables. There is a drive-thru with an awkward set up. The pick-up window is located out in the seating area, so that the staff have to walk across the restaurant to deliver the food to the people ordering. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. Both the female and the male employees were very nice. My wife ordered the carnitas plate and I ordered the Shrimp a la Diabla. My wife thought her carnitas were a little crispy, as in over-cooked, but she did say that the meat was not dried out. She enjoyed her meal. I enjoyed the sauce of the Diabla dish; it was spicy enough. What I would have preferred as more mushrooms and a lot less of the thickly cut onion slices, which I don't care for and actually don't agree with me, if eaten in quantities. I would have also preferred more mushrooms, which I do enjoy. Still, the shrimp were plump and well-cooked, and there were plenty of them. Also, contrary to some reviews, we thought that there dishes offered plenty of food. There were flies in the restaurant, which are a real turn-off for us. Once we moved over under one of the ceiling fans, it did not seem like a problem. All in all, a good first experience. We will definitely be back.
